I'm am trying to flash my G710TM using lgup and uppercase, but partway through loading uppercut, it says it can't find the file and shuts down without opening lgup. I've tried using lgup alone with the proper .dll file installed, but that also gives me an error. What do I try next?

Hi, any help would be appreciated about to give up sadly.
Model # Lg G3 D-852 on Rogers
SW Version before flash - D85230d_00_0721
I flashed using the guide here: TO GO BACK TO LP FROM MM
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64624353&postcount=3
It ran fine and stated successful, click here to continue.... I did and after reboot my phone is now stuck in fastboot (after the LG boot screen goes to android with stomach open and spinning inside)
I tried the following:
- reflashing again, but it gives me the error "Communication fail with device" after it reaches 6%
- flashing my tot file with LG FlashTool 1.8.1.1023 and put on port 41
- tried changing the dll with the LG FlashTool 1.8.1.1023 to LGUP_8974, LGUP_8994, LGD852_20140702_LGFLASHv160
Thanks.
I don't know if I remember correctly but stopping at 6 percent while flashing was somewhat of a common issue and had to do with Windows's HID settings.
Try following another guide from the forum and restoring using LG Flash Tool and a full tot file, as opposed to LGUP.
same problem. Did you have a problem? 6% stopped and error
I am trying to flash the TOT and DLL files from https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g-pad-83/general/fix-v495-using-uk495-kdz-t3420711.
With LGUp, it sees my device and sees the com port, but it says unknown model and it cannot connect to it
With LGFlashTool, I get an error that says "Failed previous load()" when I try to perform the upload to the device. (The device is in download mode and I've moved the megalock file and selected the appropriate DLL and TOT file).
I have followed the instructions in several "how to flash TOT" threads and tried different versions of LGUp and LGFlashTool with the same results.
I am currently on 5.0.2 stock rooted and using a Windows 10 computer. My goal is to get completely stock with no evidence of root to be able to use apps that will not work on rooted devices. I have been unsuccessful in all attempts to hide root.
Has anyone else seen the same problems and did you solve them? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi guys,
for the last months I was using LineageOs, but since they dropped development for our device I wanted to get rid of it.
I tried to get AOSP running but failed. Next I flashed a stock kdz file in Download Mode using LGUP and it worked,
I was back to stock. I tried to install AOSP through TWRP but failed again and eventually ended up doing a hard reset.
This temporarily bricked the device because now the stock android booted and Android Device Protection (FRP) was
active and didn't let me log in. Desperate to find a solution I flashed random kdz/tot files for the device that I found on
the Internet until one finally worked (LGH815 EU Nougat 7.0 BySezerSimsek), the FRP thing was gone. Then I tried to at
least get back to stock again, but when I tried to flash the stock kdz file LGUP aborts at 25% with Error Code 0x2000.
Every time I start the phone now, it goes directly in this firmware update/download mode.
The device shows up as "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port" In Windows Device Manager
In Download mode it says "633A B92 Official" on the display
I already tried:
Different dll files for LGUP
Using LG Flash Tool 2014 instead
Putting dump file on SD card
Should I put it in 9008 mode and work with QFIL or what am I supposed to do now?
Thank you.
I'm still able to get into fastboot mode btw. But I'm going to wait for replies here
before I make things worse. If that's even possible at this point. :silly:

My phone is alive again, thanks Jason:laugh:
Just a short recap what I've done now in case it helps someone with the same problem, the full instructions
are in Jasons link.
I used the KDZ and TOT Extractor to extract the LGUP8994.dll file out of a stock Marshmallow v20p KDZ.
I renamed the dll to LGUP_8994.dll and moved it to C:\..\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\8994, overriding the
existing file. Now LGUP was able to flash the v20p KDZ without the 0x2000 Error.
My H81520p marshmallow finally in bootloop. Need to secure important data so can not reset nor root, freezer did not work. Tried to disable big cores with the known guide (guy who takes $25 for app), he has only one tot for H815 M devices. I get the famous unsecure image error on 9%, is there a known solution to it?

1. Went to this known guide on youtube (can not post links) with the title "LG G4 - ILAPO (Infinite Loop Auto Power Off) FIX", downloaded the zip "lg G4 tool new" in descriptions with all the necessary files.
2. Run the LGUP and LGUP dll installer + install LGBridge.
3. Install UPPERCUT (though not needed probably) and update the LGUP8994.dll to version of 21/07/2017 in the lgup/model/8994 folder.
4. Connect LG G4 in download mode, run LGUP it shows port: CO version: H81520p progress: standby
5. mark upgrade and choose bin file LGH815AT-00-V20a-GLOBAL-COM-NOV-02-2015+00_RECOVERY_6.0.tot from the folder H815 Marshmallow
6. click start, in Step LGUP shows progress -> connection to usb then check dll then at 9% LGUP gives error: 0x2000, Secure device, But Unsecure image. Phone switches from download mode to bootloop.
Did not find any solution after checking many threads Read something about a guy trying to extract dll from the .kdz for my marshmallow version but dont know how to do and if it is known to solve the error.

maybe your dll is not the correct one. Try with this one and let me know if that works
getting same error
Found procedure that need to flash therequired version of firmware as first step. Tried LGUP and LG FlashTool
Won't Connect to PC running Win 7 while g7 in download mode. LGUP running on PC says "can't connect".
LG Flash Tool can't find Model.dll..I found the file but LGFT says wrong file. Read on web that the Model.dll file needs to contain model number in it but can not find any file that works. Also don't think this one will connect either buthaven't gotten that far
Anyone get LGUP or LG Flash Tool to work. I need to flash the firmware to unlock bootloader so I can install LineageOS
Try this one
