I have a XT1710-10,
I had some problems with my network, so I flashed the latest Oreo stock image via fastboot.
My network problems got fixed but everytime I reboot now, phone enters the No Command screen.
To boot into phone I have to go into fastboot and Click "Start" there.
Everything else seems to be fine. How do I solve this?
The file I flashed was
XT1710-10_ALBUS_RETIN_8.0.0_OPS27.76-12-25-15-2_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
you forgot to reset, run fastboot oem fb_mode_clear while in fastboot mode

So before I get linked to a bunch of solutions, here's what I've tried so far as I do have fastboot access:
I've tried flashing the latest factory image from Google. Both manually from fastboot and with NRT, all to no avail. It shows the Google logo then reboots repeatedly. I've tried entering recovery to factory reset there after flashing, but the device won't get into recovery.
I've also tried this method, but I can't get the device to enter download mode. It shows that it's entering it for a moment when I plug it into my computer while holding volume up, but then reboots into the bootloop again.
There's one weird thing that should be noted that makes me think this is some weird software issue, and not a hardware failure. I let the device bootloop all night last night until the battery died. When I powered it on this morning it went all the way to the Android setup page where you select wifi, etc and go from there. However, when I plugged it in and kept going through setup, it rebooted and has been looping since. I've contacted Google and they're supposed to conference call me with LG to see what we can do. Do I have any options other than that? Thanks for any help.
From bootloader
fastboot erase cache
fastboot format cache
fastboot erase user
fastboot format user
BTW what exactly is happening when you say it doesn't enter recovery?

I choose reboot recovery from the fastboot menu and it just boot loops. It won't enter recovery.

what if you try
fastboot boot twrp.img
I've bootlooped so many times I don't know where to start.
So you flashed the factory IMG from your bootloader correct.
Fastboot -w will wipe without wiping system.
Then reflash your whole system. I would redownload from the Google site through Skipsoft...the easiest way. When it asks to keep or flash new recovery you want to flash the stock recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...olkit-skipsoft-android-toolkit-nexus-t3230444
You'll have to reroot afterwards which you can also do through skipsoft.
Profit... Thank me if I helped.
It's a Hardware issue. Installing system again will not fix it. Send it to LG for a repair. My phone had the same issue.
Hi,
All this started by me flashing my Zenfone 2 551ML to a custom Rom unofficial CM14 with twrp. Everything went fine and I was able to use my phone. But when I tried to revert back to stock by accessing recovery, I cannot access recovery. The TWRP screen just keeps flashing until I hard reset the phone. Then I tried to fastboot erase cache and it was the same. Then I tried to fastboot erase system and fastboot flash system system.img by taking a corresponding image for Z00A. Then my phone gets stuck in a bootloop. So I go back to fastboot again and try to fastboot flash recovery, boot and system. I tried fastboot flash droidboot but it gave me a permission denied error. Then when I tried to restart/start my phone, only fastboot works. I select recovery and reboot, I go back to fastboot screen. I power up the phone normally I go back to fastboot screen. I try to power and volume up, I go back to fastboot. Now I am stuck with a phone which by default boots to fastboot and nothing else. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!
You flashed the MM recovery?
Hi,
A few days ago I woke up with battery at 1% asking to enter extreme mode and after I did some charging I noticed my battery is draining fast. Then I decided to restart my phone and it went into a bootloop.
I restarted this phone previously without any problems.
Now I can't enter download or recovery mode. I can only use fastboot on bootloader menu but not adb cause I can't enter download mode (adb shows no devices but fastboot shows).
My phone bootloader is locked, S-oFF production. Everything is stock, never changed anything.
Tried fastboot oem rebootRUU didnt work.
Tried fastboot boot recovery.img and failed as I need unlocked bootloader
fastboot oem unlock/lock shows unknown command
fastboot flash hosp hosp.img also didn't work
fastboot flash boot recovery.img didn't work.
All of them lead to a small HTC logo in the middle but then return to the bootloop.
I also tried removing SD card and rebooting but didn't work.
Is there any solution to this problem? Thanks.
A wild shot..

Have you tried a "Power Off" ... wait 10 to 20 secs ... then hold "vol down" and "power" at same time. See the little "HTC" twice before you release the buttons. That should put you in boot loader mode. Then we can go from there. If it doesn't then I don't know what to do. It is how I have recovered from my catastrophes... and I have had similar instances like yours.
Hello,
Yesterday, doing noting special, I took my phone from my pocket and saw it was stucked on "fastboot".
Ok, no problem, I made a hard reset (power button 20s-30s): it reboots and immediately the screen fastboot appears.
I tried a fastboot reboot from my PC: idem: it reboots and immediately shows "Fastboot".
I tried vol UP + power button: a menu shows me just 2 options: wipe cache or reboot. I tried wipe cache: nothing better. I reboot in fastboot mode. It's weird because I had TWRP menu before (I rooted it a few months ago).
In summary, I cannot leave from the Fastboot screen. Whatever I do, I always come back to "fastboot" menu.
Could you help me please?
You can try to flash your device with the latest fastboot ROM witch can be found there
Flash MIUI fastboot ROM using MiFlash software..
Note : Do not relock bootloader for safer side

I had a similar problem like that and I thought all was hopeless and then I tried the simplest thing. Fastboot boot recovery instead of trying to flash it and then I flash the recovery through recovery to make sure everything was okay but it happened when using Orange ? recovery. I have not used it since. I hope this helps.
Hi all,
I'm a bit stuck. Went to sleep last night with a working phone. Woke up this morning with the device turned off, and trying to turn it on always bumps me into Fastboot. I'm guessing my custom ROM tried and failed to update overnight...?
I can run fastboot commands, but trying to boot using a boot.img from a downloaded ROM (fastboot boot boot.img) still kicks me into Fastboot. Tried installing a Stock ROM, and the full install goes through, but still reboots to Fastboot.
I've downloaded the MSM tool and EDL package to see if I can get that to work, but you guessed it, I can't get into EDF mode (holding both vol buttons and connectting the phone sends me to Fastboot).
Anyone any ideas
Arran
In my case I fixed it by swapping to the other slot...
getvar current-slot to see the active partition
fastboot --set-active=a to set partition a instead.
Rebooted - all OK
