INSTALLATION PROCESS:
Install Firmware 10.0.13.0 (recommend/optional)
Starts for TWRP | Cmd command: fastboot boot twrp-daisy-3.3.1-0-offain.img
Wipe data, system, dalvik cache, internal storage
Install the ROM
Install TWRP
Change the SLOT
Reboot to Recovery
Install ForcedEncryptionDisablerDaisy.zip
Install Gapps (optional) - Recommended is OpenGapps
Install Magisk (optional)
Restart System

Installation:

Tried to dirty flashed it and for some reason I couldn't get past Google Assistant screen, no matter what I do, it just goes back to lockscreen. I'm gonna try to clean flash it to see if it works

What Gapps did you use?

@ganomin, what vendor is this using?
Also, is the option to have battery text (only %) available yet? ArrowOS 10 GSI I tested a while ago had only both.

I have a weird bug. When someone is calling me, i have no ringtone, same with the alarmclock, no sound. Otherwise, the "sound" is working.
What can i do ?

I just checked, for me the phone rings and so does the alarm so it's not rom related.

I'm having trouble with GCam, only a 5.1.x apparently customized for daisy works. Any more recent versions force close when I tap settings. Most likely some libraries missing or wrong version, no idea. Ah, I use microG but that worked perfectly with any GCam on android 9. Actually this is the first Q rom where this happens.

I have twrp encrypted, how am I supposed to flash any rom?

I solved, they casued in developer options. Someone if on, screen recording bugged.

Just a small bug i found is disabling hardware buttons doesn't disables home button key.

On the latest version after turning on device encryption functionality and setting up boot password on, it stucks on infinite booting animation and never boots up again.

Do three button and disable.
Rom have a blur bug. Open one app and press menu button; first time, blur don't work.

I wanted to try this version but i can't find gapps for android 11 on the link you provided. Should I use NikGApps or it would be better to download the test version of opengapps for android 11? Would it add stability problems?

you cant lock a bootloader with a custom rom installed (unless you do some trusted keys magic which i doubt works so soon)
do not lock it from fastboot commands unless you wanna brick your device.

Let's see how it goes. I wanna install custom ROM because this miui ROM has a major issue of black crush in both dark and white mode and also the ringtones I'm setting is not working. Only the default ringtone plays whenever someone calls

Is it suitable with Rename, Mystique, and Panda Kernel? I asked because according to Franco Kernel Manager there is no sound option to increase earphone volume in stock rom kernel.

I tried few times with the system updater. but it shows "apps close"

2) Does this have the same features as CrDroid v8.7?

Very impressed by the fact that you still provide the last security updates for the CrDroid 7 (A11) rom, I installer this more recent CrDroid 8 (A12) rom on my second daisy (A13 version is still a but young for my usage). I hope I won't encounter any issue and in such case that you will maintain it as well as the previous version (3 security updates/year is fine)
PS: Unfortunately I have a significant issue with the Voltage OS A13 rom (see dedicated topic) and no solution yet which is the reason why I started looking elsewhere...
Edit: no play store with NikGapps-core-arm64-12.1-20220905-signed following the installation instructions, nor magisk. I had to reinstall the last version. I think the installation instruction are false, you need to reboot to recovery after twrp flash to install magisk and the gapps properly.
Edit2: play store won't connect: "no internet connection" but I am connected via wifi...
Edit3: after a new proper install (reboot to recovery after twrp flash and magisk install AFTER gapps, not in inverse order in queue) everything seems ok

1. not working vibro when answer incoming call and ending call .
2. I have Bluetooth earbuds with Aptx adaptive codec but rom don't support this codec only Aptx . Crdroid 8.10 have bluetooth Aptx adaptive.

Vibration on incoming call works, check new vibration settings in Sound category
Android 13 uses AOSP BT stack instead of Qualcomm one, maybe that codec will be supported in future.

it works on mine, make sure you're using stock Dialer app and haptic feedback level isn't too low.

Ok so curious why so high ram usage, i do not know if this is normal or not, nothing running in background, and i have installed just basic apps like Viber, FB, Insta

Facing app crashing and closing on their own. Tried reinstalling the system web view but nothing changed. Please advise.

I am noticing that the screen gets more darker while watching any content. Netflix, youtube or any video the screen is getting more dark. As soon as I click on the home screen gesture button, it gets normal. And HDR is totally messed. Please help.

couple of notes on the clean install process in case anyone runs into the same:
- couldnt format or wipe after the twrp update, have to boot once and let it bootloop in order to get decryption working
- something is weird with the screen drivers or settings, colors jump all over the place if i enable anti-flicker or smooth display. while on auto brightness
- system ui sometimes generates location requests for no aparent reason
do we know if xiaomi has given up on the device? looking for updated vendor blobs so trust doesnt report them as out of date
