Hi,
is anybody here able to confirm whether the bootloader of the nubia z11 is locked or unlocked or at least unlockable?
I saw an ROM with a custom kernel so I assume it is unlockable?
Greetings and thanks
Hi
My phone arrived with the bootloader blocked, this can be seen running:
(reboot in bootloader mode, install android adb drivers then
fastboot oem device-info
DEVICE-UNLOCKED: false
To unlock my bootloader update to the Chinese ROM STOCK that has Android 7.1.1, enable the debugging options and in the same options appears PERMIT OEM UNLOCK, after enabling this option I was able to unlock the bootloader using:
Fastboot oem unlock
Now my bootloader is unlocked, since Android 6 I did not find a method
can you give me the link to the cinese rom? i'm unable to find it...

hi ! my first post on xda ...
i own a nubia z11 nx531j, and read all infos here, but can't find answer to my problem :
my android version is 7.1.1 and i would to install custom rom (for sure a rom with no google services ...)
i know for sure that i have to flash twrp , but before this i have to unlock the bootloader, and this is MY PROBLEM
it is 3 hours i'm looking for answers but can't find anything good
indeed , the fastboot command "oem unlock" is not allowed, maybe due to my 7.1.1 version ? i'm not sure i ll be allowed to downgrade, risks of losing imei ?
please, help , and sorry for my poor english

U dont need to downgrade, adb fastboot works with Nubia Z11. Make sure you download latest zte driver for your windows/mac os, only after that you'll be able to unlock it.
thx for your reading
but .. i found how to unlock the bootloader ..
the key point is that when you click on "allow oem unlock", the toggle becomes green but don't stay green if you're going out and re-enter dev options !
you have to click on the line and not on the toggle itself, and then you have to enter your pin !
then go back to bootloader and i have to type "fastboot oem unlock-go "
and voila !

In my case allow oem unlock 'toggle' worked normally, it asked for the pin as soon as i tap it and it stayed green after re-enterring in dev option.

hi guys
I’d got a big problem on my oneplus 3. My device’s oem lock was disable (in developer setting) and my bootloader was in locked status. I cannot use the command: fastboot oem unlock. The command said remote unlock is not allowed. I don’t know how to unlock the bootloader in fastboot. I tried to ubrick my phone but it didn’t work. It said: check md5; cache failed…. and it reset the phone many times. I also couldn’t open recovery mode. Please help me. I really need your help. You are my only hope now. Thank you in advance

Have you tried the unbrick guide? I'd try that out before doing anything else, see if the guide works and then retry unlocking the bootloader.

You didn't follow the Unbrick guide properly.. If you get these MD5, cache, system etc failed that means you didn't use the right drivers provided in the tutorial.. Also you do need to boot windows into driver signature enforcement.

Hello,
How can I relock bootloader on Mate 20x? I have EVR-L29.
Thanks!
Try this method
"How to Relock Bootloader via Fastboot
Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC.
Connect your device to the PC, and open a command window on the PC.
Issue the following command to boot device into bootloader mode:
adb reboot bootloader
Now issue the following commands (any one) to relock bootloader. You don’t need to use all the commands given below. If any one works, stop there and follow the next step.
fastboot oem lock
fastboot flashing lock
fastboot oem relock
Once bootloader is locked. Reboot your device with the following command:

Hello guys,
As always, I am here with a new share. I am sharing with you the deep testing app for Android 10 RM5 pro. I got to fastboot with this app. Next to unlock....[Update: UNLOCKED & Rooted]
Go on try it out.
The sweet guy who shared this video and app.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFuuZSh6C-I
The apk link here:
https://www.youtube.com/redirect?re...vPDNolgt_uV4AaABAg&q=http://shorturl.at/acuT5
Note: I had already selected OEM unlock in my RM5P since long, so I just installed this apk and opened and selected
QUERY VERIFICATION STATUS (right top corner). It showed Review Successful. Select START IN-DEPTH TEST.
You go straight to fastboot..
Enjoy LOCKDOWN safe in your home.
Thank you for reading.

Officially no, but for me and several others it still worked, even with an EU phone.
I had to upgrade to Android 10 and then follow the steps described here:
https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1244566811094024192?language=en-US
Btw., it's better to stick to the official post from realme I linked above, apps and links on youtube could be malicious.
I am using RM5P Indian version. The youtube link is safe. I didn't find any issues.
More than that, this apk was already listed in xda by faisalxp. I realized that late.

Yes, that's exactly what I was on before unlocking and rooting (INDIAN version).
Install adb and fastboot drivers in PC.
Good practice is to put all the necessary files in the C:/adb folder for installing twrp recovery.
Backup your data/pictures/notes etc first to pc.
Enable OEM unlock in Developer options. Enable USB debugging.
Install deep test apk and follow the instructions and get into FASTBOOT.
In fastboot type: fastboot flashing unlock and enter, and then unlock.
Needed Files:
twrp - link: https://files.orangefox.tech/OrangeFox-Beta/rmx1971/OrangeFox-R10.1_1-Beta-RMX1971.zip

Yes, you can use the app prompt "Apply to exit in-depth test". It will reboot to Fastboot where you need to type the command to lock.
Fastboot help - will give you all the commands available.
Commands available:
locking/unlocking:
Fastboot flashing lock|unlock Lock/unlock partitions for flashing
I suggest you research a bit more. Phone might get bricked. Do it at your own risk.
You should not be on TWRP, go back to official recovery.
If you have rooted, UNROOT first and do the rest.

Actually when i press that button it shows this "You can only apply to exit in-depth test after carrying out bootloader lock operation in fastboot mode".
so I went into fastboot mode and used the command fastboot flashing lock it wiped my data and rebooted to welcome screen (language region setup)
Should I now use the app to "Apply to exit in-depth test"? or don't use the app?

In my experience, relocking the bootloader should be the last thing you do, after you've got a working/bootable stock ROM.

So, the OEM lock/unlock thing comes with a pretty big caveat, and you need to be aware of it: loss of data.
Every time you lock or unlock your bootloader, a wipe data is triggered.
Now, for as far as I know, to lock the bootloader, you need two things:
1. Stock ROM. Don't do this on a custom ROM!
2. following command, in Terminal/Cmd Prompt
fastboot oem lock
Of course, you need to be in fastboot mode, so if you're not, and if you're booted and connected via USB (USB debugging needs to be ON and RSA fingerprinting accepted), do:
adb devices
It should display your device here. This is just to make sure ADB is working properly.
adb reboot bootloader
At this point, the phone should reboot into bootloader, so now you can do the lock command
fastboot oem lock
Data should be erased and, in case it doesn't automatically boot up, you can reboot the phone.
Don't worry about the OEM unlocking option in Developer Options. You just make sure the stock ROM is functional before attempting to relock the bootloader.

no, i run the command and it asks for changing the oem lock setting in developer options, i reboot the phone and run through the setup process. Then when i enable developer options and check the oem lock option, it is greyed out.
Is it greyed out in the on or off position? Can you attach a screenshot? I don't remember the operations sequence... But I think the option was automatically switched back to the original position (off) when you lock the bootloader. I could be wrong though. So...when you run the "fastboot oem lock" command, it asks you to....what?
Set the option to on or off? Some screenshots from both the PC, with the message, and the developer options might help to clarify this.

A screenshot would be really useful. But don't worry about it. When you're back to stock rom and ready to lock your bootloader, we can resume this then. I think either we're missing something, or it's everything ok, and you just need to switch that option off. Though, I remember I didn't have to do it manually. But I could be wrong though.
So, don't worry. Enjoy LineageOS and we can resume this when you're back to stock ROM and ready to lock.

I think either we're missing something, or it's everything ok, and you just need to switch that option off. Though, I remember I didn't have to do it manually. But I could be wrong though.
So, don't worry. Enjoy LineageOS and we can resume this when you're back to stock ROM and ready to lock.

so after running the fastboot oem lock command, it asked this in the cmd
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot oem lock
...
(bootloader) Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android Settings > Developer
(bootloader) Options
OKAY [ 0.080s]
finished. total time: 0.080s
when i rebooted the phone, it showed the screen saying that the bootloader was unlocked. also i had to re run the command because it was going to erase my phone but that din´t happend, after going to developer options the option was still greyed out.
The last 3 days i've tried some roms from here.first i've unlocked the bootloader in developer menu, then from fastboot with the unlock key provided by motorola website,i've tried different rom, didnt like that i cannot use bank apps.so i went for locking.full reset, adb enable, reboot bootloader, full flash stock rom (last one from Motorola),reboot to check, adb enable, reboot bootloader, run command " fastboot oem lock " once ,it asked for confirmation due to data loss, then run command " fastboot oem lock " once more, then reboot to os.everything went ok,device dont show that was unlocked
