No alternative gestures on MIUI 12 ? - Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
Re-enabled my Xiaomi mi Max 3 and updated it to latest Xiaomi.eu ROM.
It seems that doing so I can't use gestures other than the one provided by Xiaomi that I do not like.
I installed "Fluid" gestures. I can install it butit seems I can't disable the gestures included in MIUI so no use for it.
I have disabled the Gestures in MIUI to replace with the 3 buttons bar. But I can't make those buttons disappear even if I select the option in Fluid.
Is there a way to make those buttons disappear ? Is there a way to overrule the MUI Gestures from MIUI 12 ?
Regards.

Separate Notifications Volume in Settings for MIUI8

This mod is specific to each version of ROM.
It provides a separated volume slider for Notification sounds in Settings. It does not add the extra slider to the expanded volume bar.
I will post files for the most popular recent versions when I can.
Some files are too big to upload here so I will put those on GDrive.

Hello, can you make this mod for the 8.1.3 skinny V2 eu version by Gyovany96, please?
@bigmerlin2001 I have had a go at doing this but 8130 is not cooperating
OK. No problem. Thanks for your work. I also use your skinny pro with pleasure : it changes my phone! My sot is better than before and with the skinny of Giovany96, I'm happy!

Camera UI Mi 6 after enable softkey

Hi Mi Fans,
I need some help, I edited build.prop in line qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 to 0 , to enable softkey button and fullscreen gesture mode in settings.. everything worked. But camera UI look weird, still space on the bottom , it's like something there are softkey , even i hide softkey and change to gesture mode.
Questions is, how to revert Camera UI normally. Without losing gesture mode.

I sat the same problem after the update on MIUI Global 12.2.4
With the 12.2.3 everything went without problems.

Question Is there a fix for gestures when using a custom launcher?

So I tried using Nova Launcher and then disabling gestures but they don't work at all anymore. Every time I reboot my phone again, the home/back buttons come back again. Any fixes for that?
I use nova launcher and the gestures work perfectly, so only the gestures in the nova launcher. If you want to use native gestures, you must use the poco launcher.
In order to provide gestures properly the app needs to have privileged permissions. This means it needs to be a system app. A custom ROM (on a different phone) had an app called quick switch which changed the chosen launcher to a system app and then rebooting.
In short: try to use root and an app to make nova launcher a system app

Click to collapse
I will try that and report back. I don't think it will fix the problem with rebooting+ home buttons appear again but at least making it usable without a third party app (using Fluid Navigation Gestures)
I found a way. For anybody wondering, here are two links with a tutorial on how to do it:

Hi, can someone tell why my mi9t pro give me "up to date" when yesterday realised a new 12.5? And is it save if i download manually and install directly from "choose update package" to move from 12.0.6.0 QFKCNXM to 12.5.4.0 RFKCNXM? Hello =>...

MIUI 12.0 - MIUI 12.0/12.1/12.2/12.5 STABLE RELEASE
Thank you... If the only way to make an App 'System' is to create a specific Magisk module ... I honestly don't know if I'm capable of it !! :-\ I made the Magisk module for you => MiRadio-v1.1-Magisk.zip ;) EDIT: Update to v1.1 -> Added "com.miui.fmservice" app

Maybe this can get stickied for people to have it idk.

is there a way to enable fingerprint to take photo

Mi 10T lite MIUI version 12.5.3. Is there a setting to use the fingerprint button to take a photo, if so how to do it please.
Thanks Graham
That was before on MIUI 11 tou can shoot with fingerprint, this was looks like:
Open the Camera app
Open the menu
Open the Settings
Enable or disable Fingerprint shutter..
Now on MIUI 12 there is no that options.
Or maybe they remove it on another place but I couldn't,find it.
Maybe on same custom rom you can find that.
Thanks, it is a shame it is not working for MIUI 12
