You may try locking the bootloader, if that is possible from within your OS. As I've read, the fingerprint sensor is somewhat tied to the bootloader being locked.
Found a way to experiment on this?

Pattern lock not working

already unlocked bootloader but my pc cant detect fastboot command
edit: solved it by adding "./"
this rom is far better than color OS. only cons are:
- can't set lockscreen
- brightness level is too low

try using GCam on your color OS. it has the same quality with GCam installed in the ROM.

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Installation
Download the latest supported Android 10 Factory Images, AOSiP build and TWRP image and optionally gapps and installer zip
Execute ./flash-all.sh (Unix) or flash-all.bat (Windows) inside the extracted factory image archive to both slots
Wipe userdata (fastboot erase userdata)
Fastboot into TWRP recovery
(Optional but highly recommended) Disable screen timeout in TWRP settings
Flash the latest build of AOSiP
(Optional) If using gappsless build and you wish to use gapps, reboot to bootloader and fastboot TWRP again and proceed to flash gapps of choice (OpenGapps are recommended)
Reboot to system

Got some strange behaviour..
For some reason on this ROM TWRP goes unresponsive first try. Reboot to recovery from fastboot then it works fine.
Anyone else get this?

There was some discussion on Eamo5's telegraph channel about that; in fact, there was a special twrp developed for flashing roms and kernels. I don't know whether this had anything to do with the issue you encountered.

I haven't personally verified it but as far as I know, it should work with Google Fi

That's normal with TWRP on Q. You can safely ignore it.

yea but you will have to set your esim on stock rom and then flash lineage, its not possible (yet ig) to add it on lineage so do that on stock.

When in download mode. Convert the .img to .tar.md5. Just search img to tar.md5 converter and download. Then use odin and load the tar.md5 file in the ap slot. Flash, then after you did this, your phone restarts. When it does this quickly Hold the volume up and power on key. You then boot in to the recovery.

thanks everything works!

You state all cameras are working. They are not. The high quality lense is not available.
If signal drops, it doesn't come back unless switching to 2G and back again. No 5G?! In browser videos completely knackered. Reboot loses display settings. Audio quality is terrible. This will be the case for all Lineage based ROMs. So far, totally pointless on latest Samsung devices.

thanks, but it gives me error 127 and stops at 1% in the sideload ...
in the installation it gave me the same error when reaching 47%, it did not ask me for skip signature, but it restarted, it gave me another error and then start normally.

- Fingerprint is not working
- When booting it shows error 'something is wrong with your device'

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
CLEAN FLASH :
0. Boot in OFOX metadata;
1. Format Data (Press on the recycle bin icon —-> format data ——> type yes);
2. Press on "back" and flash the rom using adb sideload (Go to 3 lines in the bottom right corner -----> adb sideload ----> swipe ----> open the cmd from adb tools folder ------> adb sideload < drag and drop the zip over the cmd>);
3. Flash ofox zip the same way through adb sideload, it will automatically reboot to ofox after flashing is done;
4. Flash gapps; (Only if the rom does not contain gapps);
5. Flash magisk (Optional);
6. Change filesystem to f2fs (Go to 3 lines in bottom right corner ----> manage partitions ----> select data -----> change fs ------> f2fs);
7. Reboot.
DIRTY FLASH :
- Boot in OFOX metadata;
- Flash the rom zip;
- Flash ofox zip, it will automatically reboot the phone to ofox after the flashing is done;
- Flash gapps ( ONLY IF THE ROM DOES NOT COME WITH GAPPS ALREADY);

Does this retain Quad Dac features?

Did anyone successfully flashed this gsi on LGV40 - 405UA? if yes any tips or instructions. My multiple attempts all eneded in boot loop failure ....

Yes, it has Quad dac driver from lg V50 as well as audio hal from v50, it sounds much better than stock as well as you have DAC panel where you can set impedinance as well as avc volume which you canto n stock

ITS not a GSI, its a CUSTOM ROM. You didn't properly follow the flash guide, you probably didnt format in f2fs at the end.

Can anyone tell me how can I install this rom? I have LG V40 with unlocked bootloader but I can't find custom recovery or way to install it.
