Hey guys.
Im trying to unlock my booloader... LG G7 LM-G710EM
I have tried using the official LG method
LG Developer
The official developer resources for LG products and platforms.
developer.lge.com
and even got the IMEI and device-id from my bootloader
The website gives me an error
"Unfortunately, your device does not support unlocking the bootloader. Your account will be locked if you enter the wrong information more than 7 times"
so i guess this method is not working for me.
i understand there are other "unofficial" ways to unlock my bootloader
but i am drowning in old obsolete tutorials...
is there any definite way to do this?
greatly appriciated!

All,
I'm having issues unlocking my H815 LG G4. I enter the proper IMEI and device information into the location on LG's developer website to unlock it but then I get an error which I have attached.
This has been discussed many times before.
You need a region specific H815 in order to unlock your bootloader. A specific EU variant is the only one that LG supports unlocking right now. My Taiwanese specific G4 is not supported. If you'd like, you can msg LG and pile on the requests to unlock all H815 variants, but I believe they said they wouldn't.
Good luck!

Any Ideas on how to root without bootloader unlocked?
Im having the same issue the only difference is that my LG G4 h815 is the EU open market variant which is the one that can only unlock bootloader im getting the message saying everything is correct but cannot unlock bootloader, i contacted lg support dev, the answer from them is that i cannot unlock my G4, this is bull**** i pay i want full control of my phone. hope someone can come up with a way to root this device without unlocking the bootloader just like with the G3 model.
Returned mine and bought another straight from a site in the UK. Went without a hitch.
Hi guys I have an H815 brand "tim(an'italian carrier) 2 hours ago I was trying to unlock my bootloader and when i wrote the imei it said "your device does not support unlocking the bootloader"
So the question is.. WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
The problem is ; your device is not supported...
In other words the tools and guides on the official lg developers site aren't compatible with your version of the phone.
It is probably because you seem to have a carrier branded H815, and that carrier does not allow to unlock the bootloader.
You'll have to wait for LG to support your phone, LG has released a statement saying it will slowly add more devices for unlocking the boatloader

Yeah I only realised this the other day also, shame!
so basically there's no way to get rooted marshmallow at this point without unlocked bootloader
I've been digging around on how to root my phone.
I've tried unlocking the bootloader on the LG developer site, but this error comes up
"Unfortunately, your device(Taiwan , (TAIWAN) )does not support unlocking the bootloader."
So I guess this method is a no-go.
Are there any other methods for rooting my phone?
I found a oneclickroot but I've never used one before and don't know whether its trustworthy.
same here. Is there someone who unlocked the bootloader of this variant ?
Same
I just received my G4 yesterday and found it's a v20c-TWN-XX
Actually looking for a rooting solution on all forums i know...
I get this error when I try to unlock the lg site.
Unfortunately, your device( Turkey, (TURKEY), LMG710EM.TUR )does not support unlocking the bootloader. Your account will be locked if you enter the wrong information more than 9 times.
Do I have a chance to unlock otherwise?
I have two Z2 Force Sprint variants bought at the same time. One I had unlocked a long time ago with no issue, but I am trying to do the other one now and keep getting the error from Motorola's unlock tool saying 'your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking'. Anyone ever run into this issue or have any pointers that could help with this?

Yes I have seen others with issues and eventually getting through. Not sure if that's the case here or not. I have tried alternate browsers, systems, vpn's and the uk site. Even went as far as using the inspector to force the blue submit button to show up on the site. Always ends the same way though unfortunately.
