Getting pop-up video to work again on Samsung Browser - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Hi everyone,
After long eight years, I'm back to Android on a Galaxy S20. Yesterday, as I watching a video on YouTube in Samsung browser I've somehow managed to put the video on pop-up mode to read some messages on WhatsApp.
What's driving me crazy, however, is that I just can't simply remember how to do it again!
As far as I can recall, the Video Assistant mode was definitely disabled. Also, I surely did not use the pop-up app view (in fact, I didn't even know it was possible).
Even if I did, the result would not be the same. Using the pop-up app view with Samsung browser, the entire browser window appears as a pop-up. What happened before was that only the video itself was on pop-up mode.
Do you have any idea of what I could have possibly done?
Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I got it!
If I'm watching a video, receive a notification and touch on it, automatically the video turns into a pop-up window

Capturing the screen with the HD

Hello Gents,
I am wondering if I can use some help with the following questions:
I had downloaded the hotfixes from HTC (the device response time, the display flicker and response sliding bar)
Everything went fine but later on I was trying to place a video call and I noticed that the video call button (the one below to the * key) has the letters of (Call Hi....) just about the lowest edge of the button. So when I tab the button, I get the call history instead of the video call.
I unistalled the fixes and restarted the device but nothing new. I just do not wanna direct you through the fixes but I am just saying all what happened. Have you faced teh issue before?
The second issue is: How can I make a screen shot of the phone,. like the ones I see on site here, is there any software to do it, something like the active synch or I have to be a developer to be able to do it...
Thanks indeed for the help
Hi, for screenshots I use MyMobiler(.com)

Notification and picture messages

I've noticed two things lately on my phone. Half the time i get a text i don't get a sound or a vibration. Anyone else had this problem?
second problem that may just be a settings problem. whenever i get a text with a pictures in it shows play fast forward and rewind buttons along with a time line. Any ideas?

Click to collapse
Have you checked your settings in the messaging app? (Messaging-Settings-Notifications) Other than that, you could check under Settings-Sound-General and check your Vibration setting.
And I have also gotten that on my part too, I think this has to do with the stock messaging app showing a picture message as a small video. You could always pause while seeing the picture and save it

[Q] SMS View - Enable Split Not Working

Hello every one!
I have a very strange problem on my device with the settings under the stock SMS application on my note 2. The phone is fully stock, no root nothing.
In the settings of the SMS application i have the 'Enable split view on landscape screen' selected. But i cant seem to get the setting to actually work.
Before i used to be able to turn the phone into landscape mode and the screen would half into a list of threads on the left and a reading\review pane on the right to see the messages for a thread or contact. Now it seem that the setting doesnt seem to work at all!
The phone used to also do this when i was using the gmail app but has stopped suddenly and has really baffled me!
just to be clear the phone does switch into landscape mode as required but the setting 'enable split view on landscape view' doesnt take effect at all within the SMS settings.Im just left with a list of sms threads which i have to open to see rather than review in the right side.
i have trawled the net to no avail! couldn't find any answers on this particular issue.
By the way i have used the site religiously over the past few years without having the need to even post or even join up! what a brilliant resource. keep up the good work guys!
Anyone else have the same problem??

Messaging App

So, I am using the Messenger app so I can reply to SMS with a "quick reply" (and what a PAIN that process was). So, in playing with this, I started noticing that the Messaging app (and only the messaging app) opens in "full screen" mode. So, when an email comes in, it's the "smaller" banner across the bottom of the watch face. When a SMS/MMS comes in, it opens full face, and displays the message on the watch face. I looked in Watch Maker and can't see where it's set that way (especially only for that one app).
Anyone have anything similar?
Thanks

[Q] Any way to keep the screen from turning on when an incoming text is received?

I like the stock Messages app for its "favorites bar" and the direct-call motion functionality, but i can't stand that it turns the screen on every time a new message comes in. It is a problem when the phone is in my pocket and a message comes in and the contact between my phone and my leg (even through my pocket!) causes my phone to do things - or at least sit there and make noise as it tries to unlock. I'm using Google's Messenger app for the time being, but i don't like it as much. I think this used to be an option in the Messages app on my Note 2. Any suggestions? Thank you,
--Brandon--
