Where are the modules in Magisk Manager 8.0.3? - Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Questions & Answers

I have spent the last two hours trying to find an up to date procedure that shows where to find and how to install modules with Magisk Manager 8.0.3. Are the modules incompatible with the latest versions of Magisk and therefore not compatible? I would love to install EDxposed on my tablet but it apparently isn't possible, or nobody has posted how to do it. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Magisk - Unable to install modules

Hey all. Recently unlocked bootloader + root. Everything is stock. I'm a new Magisk user so hopefully I'm not doing anything wrong, but when I attempt to install a module, I'm presented with:
/data/magisk isn't setup properly!
Please install Magisk v14.0+!
failed!
Installation error!
Anyone ever came across this? On the main menu, my latest Magisk version is v14.4, installed Magish version is v14.4, 14.4:MAGISKSU (topjohnwu)
Edit: This happened with the Youtube background play module (iYTBP for Magisk) but I was able to install the Busybox module. So maybe it was just module specific?
I'm having the same problem. I was able and install busybox module but same error on YouTube module and unified adaway. I installed the YouTube module manually and adaway APK so I haven't worried about it much. Would be nice to know what the problem is though.
Ah good to know! Is there an apk for the Youtube module?

Have you updated to Magisk 15.0?

This update seems like a big deal.
If you've installed this update, please relay your experience with it. Thanks!
Well, I reckon I'll be the guinea pig.
Downloaded, installed and rebooted.
Went from 14.0 to 15.0
Checked Safety Net.
Not sure what else to check, opposed to just daily driving it.
All seems to be well.

Kinda apprehensive to try, as I'm on travel away from home.
I could not install either Dolby Atmos, while on 14.0.
Let me see if I can find a small module...
ETA, I tried both Dolby Atmos and the Viper for Magisk 14+.
All failed.
If you want to successfully flash modules using magisk 15+ , you have to do a onetime install of the following f2fs workaround module (flash via TWRP)

How do we upgrade from the @juniorpassos Magisk 13.3 listed in this thread? Is there anything special that needs to be done if just booting TWRP temporarily and flashing a Magisk ZIP from the XDA thread? When I open Magisk on my phone, I see is a "Cannot check for updates, no internet?" message even though I'm definitely on WiFi.
Also, anyone that wants to save me time writing a post asking how to pass SafetyNet check wins my internet love.
Update: I just went ahead and did it. Looks like it's working fine and I was prompted to install something that now makes my phone pass SafetyNet.

[A320] Viperfx with stock rom

Hi
Im back to stock after months of struggling with Lineage bugs.
All i need is viperfx, which improves internal speaker so much, whem properly configured !
I guess the only way to get it is by using magisk (i tried with a supersu root and a viperfx flash but it didnt work).
So I just spent many hours trying to get magisk to run properly but failed.
I flashed 17.1 in twrp, seemed to work, but it didnt find any module to install, so i updated magisk manager to latest version.
Then i was unable to run magisk manager, instant crash at launch, fc.
Any tip please ?
Thanks

Disabling EDXposed on magisk while there is a module installed on EDXposed

So i sometimes ago i discovered Xposed, it never get updates anymore so it didn't came to Android 10. Luckily some people people succesfully ported it with magisk. I tried TaiChi, and it was all in chinese, so i move to EDXposed YAHFA. After succesfully installing it i wanted to install modules since Xposed have much more modules than magisk and therefore there are more interesting modules. The thing is, EDXposed can't pass the SafetyNet check, with that it would be a long process of uninstalling EDxposed and reinstalling it. Fortunately, there's a enable/disable toggle feature for every module on magisk. The question is, would it be safe to disable EDXposed while an Xposed module is installed?
Thx

Question December Update Magisk Modules

Hello everyone,
So I received my pixel device yesterday and sideloaded the December patch before unlocking the bootloader and such. Everything went smoothly for the most part other than the fact my phone bootlooped after patching the bootloader with magisk which forced me to factory reset. However, I have root running on my device now but when I try and search for modules within the app to install none show up. I am sorry, I've been away from android and rooting for some time now coming from an iPhone. Is there something wrong with my magisk or do I have to manually install all modules now? I am currently running the canary magisk build (23016). Thank you for the help!
Nothing wrong with your Magisk. If I remember correctly, there just will not be in an in-app available modules list anymore.

Thank you for the quick response and good to know lol. Thought I was going to have to factory reset again.

A nice addition to Magisk. Just search and install modules in this app.
