Hey y'all, after 2 days of headaches with a semi bricked device from a friend i was finally able to get a GSI Rom running.
Here's what you need:
1. Unlocked Bootloader
2. Stock Recovery
https://mega.nz/file/m4Q0iJpR#wP9U5gpXwTVrSWezkaoJqDjgb0zadULTLpb8kLAZJRE
3. GSI Rom (i used Bliss and it works flawless)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...ent/unofficial-blissroms-q-mod-bless-t4138687
4. A PC running Linux
So the problem is that this device comes with a super partition. That means TWRP isnt able to flash a System Image because there is not a system partition instead there is this super partition wich is new to Android 10 and is dynamic. However you need to boot to fastbootd mode to access the system partition inside the super partition.
Important!! You need Stock Recovery for this you can not boot into fastbootd via TWRP at this moment. Also you need Linux because there is only a unsigned Driver for Windows for the fastbootd mode and i dont recommend using unsigned chinese drivers.... i use Manjaro that worked out of the box.
Mi 10 Lite 5G is Treble A/B enabled so we need an A/B Rom Bliss is providing that. Follow these steps to flash the GSI.
1. Reboot to bootloader then enter: fastboot reboot fastboot (there should be the text fastbootd in yellow)
2. fastboot -w (there is maybe an error but this is ok)
2. fastboot erase system
3. fastboot flash system "GSI-ROM-name-without-quotes".img
4. fastboot reboot bootloader
5. fastboot reboot
If it bootloops your GSI is not compatible (Havoc for example) just try it till you're satisfied. This is an first step for Stock Android on our Device. i will build some Custom Roms in the next weeks.
EDIT:
Ok i got Bliss fully up and running Fingerprint and even Google Pay works! There is some things you need to do though.
Preparation:
Stock Recovery
Bliss GSI
Audio Policy Fix.xml: https://mega.nz/file/i4QWkbSD#a3U90V1kk0S01DYxjN3YH-0HsAbo_UUU_rMd7LhYLFc
Procedure:
1. Boot into fastbootd like described above and flash the GSI
2. After boot set Magisk there should be a Magisk link if you open it this Procedure should run automatically
3. In Magisk Download MagiskHide Props Config, Download it and install it reboot.
4. Run in terminal on the device (i used Termux) the command "props" (without quotes) and select option 1 then select from the list Xiaomi and then Device Mi 10 Lite 5G Europe after that go back to main menu and select option 2 select again Mi 10 Lite 5G and nothing else
5. Reboot and check Safety Net it should get a pass if not you did something wrong
6. Download a Root File explorer (i used JRummys Root Explorer)
7. Copy the Audio Policy xml to your phone and replace the file on /vendor/etc to get Headphone Jack and Headset Mics working
8. Go to Settings - phh treble settings - Qualcomm Features and Tick use alternate audio policy
9. Go back to misc Features and tick disable audio effects this gets Notification and Alarm Sounds and Ringtone working.
10. Reboot
11. Check if Bluetooth works it should if not well i honestly dont know for sure
And your Device should run perfectly fine, its crazy fast and i got a 8h Screen on Time. Well thats for me good enough for now im back to cocking Custom Roms
I was struggling with this for a very long time and couldn't flash any GSI!! Thank you so much for this guide, I will try it now and give you a feedback, but where can I find the unsigned chinese drivers for windows? and do you think I can flash android 11 GSI`s like Phh on our device??
Honestly i dont know, it should work just try it. Worse that can happen is a bootloop. I added the Stock Recovery in First Post. And here is a link to the unsingned Xiaomi Driver use at your own risk!
https://c.mi.com/oc/thread-3312019-1-0.html
works perfectly, then I tried to flashing Bliss 14.0.3 and it booted up and worked and now I`m testing ProjectStreak android 11 GSI also boots and almost everything works except for the fingerprint sensor and A LOT of lag in the System UI! think I will revert back to Bliss 12.2 for now!
Thanks again!
I cannot receive SMS with Bliss.
@Legacyleader
I see that you are from Germany. I am also from Germany. Do you have Telegram?
Hi @Benni1123 yes i have telegram, SMS Problem could be solved via APN Settings. In my Case Drillisch had no APN setup after that it was working fine.

Hi Legacyleader you save this device, thanks
i can't seem to get any GSI rom to boot, alway's end up in a bootloop. My Monet Device is unlocked with the latest V12.0.3.0.QJIEUXM Rom.
It enters fastbootd (yellow letters) but when i enter fastboot -w i get error: segmentation fault.
If i flash system after this and reboot, i always end up in a bootloop (device boots to Mi logo and instantly reboots, goes back to mi logo, instantly reboots etc..)
It feels like im missing something obviously? ;-)
@Legacyleader2 do i need to wipe anything after the system flash? if i follow your steps i always end up bootlooping. Tried Andy's Lineage17.1 GSI, Phh AOSP GSI(v222), tried bless, bliss all of them are instant bootlooping. When i flash superpartition over it, system instantly boots stock rom.
Any idea what i'm doing wrong?
@Legacyleader2 look DM please
Hello,
Mi 10 Lite (Monet) owner here! (and new on XDA)
These detailed instructions almost convinced me to make the jump and flash a GSI on my phone purchased recently. It looks like the "standard" procedure for flashing a GSI ROM with fastbootd.
I know I can fallback on the official MIUI ROM in case of problem, but before flashing, I would like to ensure there is at least one GSI which can keep my phone working as a phone, with all basic features working good.
Could you please provide a feedback about your experience?
1) Which GSI did you try?
I am about to try phhusson LineageOS's GSI first, and if it does not work, I'll try Bliss as it looks like it works like a charm
2) How is the battery life affected?
I really enjoy the battery life with MIUI, I don't want it to be cut by two
3) Does the cameras (front, back, pictures/videos modes) still work?
4) Do calls and SMS work?
5) During calls, is the call audio quality good on both sides?
I had issues with some ROM on my previous phones like echos.
6) Does the fingerprint reader work?
Additionally, what about Bluetooth, NFC, speakers, audio output from jack, applications/games performance, ...?
Maybe we could create a post to summarize our successful experiences.
Thank you for your time
does someone successfully installed xposed in GSI bliss room thanks?
Hello everyone one!
I wanted to share my experience after this amazing guide, I managed to follow the guide and flash bliss GSI then I was flashed A LOT of different android 11 GSIs and I was using the AOSP 11 GSI for a week (everything was okay except for the fingerprint & Bluetooth audio).
Then I stumbled upon a MIUI 12 Global build based on android 11 for monet and I'm using it now for the oast week and it's pretty stable.

Does the vendor from this build affect flashing GSIs on this phone?
(Excuse my weak english)
Finally I have gone through GSIs.
On my working list.
1. Bless ver 224
2. Crdroid ver 224
3.Losq ver 224
4.Decendant X latest
I have not found any other gsi booting some body may add to the other GSIs booting.
I have not had any luck booting a port gsi.
Crdroid passes safety net out of the box.
For audio bug just tick alternative audio in phh settings and reboot.
Hmmm... I got HavocOS to work.
I used the vbmeta.img, dtbo.img and boot.img off of the latest Arrow rom (Arrow-v11.0-monet-OFFICIAL-20210412-VANILLA.zip), and then flashed the HavocOS GSI image to system, and it... didn't bootloop! It actually booted! Everything seems to work.
I just got it to run, so I'll have to play around a bit before I can give any definite guarantee, but so far everything seems fine. 5G is there as well.
Well, fingerprint doesn't work. Darn.
The two I've gotten to work are:

Normally , you will lost your internal data after you flash from miui.
1. you must unlock your phone, the bootloader must be unlocked.
2. use fastboot to flash twrp
3. boot to recovery
4. use cable to copy Rom, magisk, gapp
5. wipe davik cache, system ,data
6. flash the rom, magisk, gapp
7. in wipe page ,format data, type yes to confirm.
8. reboot system , wait for new system.
Hi,
I just tried installing crDroid, since it seems well-maintained, includes signature patching support, and I want to switch to a microg installation. Unfortunately, I end up in a bootloop.
Here’s what I did:
* Boot TWRP 3.4.0-0
* Wipe: Cache, Dalvik, System, Data
* Sideload: fw_dipper_miui_MI8Global_V11.0.5.0.QEAMIXM_86e58a41cd_10.0.zip
* Sideload: crDroidAndroid-10.0-20200801-dipper-v6.8.zip
* Reboot into System
This leads to Mi logo ⇒ crDroid logo ⇒ No change for >5minutes. Upon observing adb logcat, I can see repeating patterns, although I’m not sure where exactly they start to loop, and where the loop ends ….
I deliberately did not flash any Magisk, MinMicroG-Installer or GApps as I wanted to get the bare rom to boot first.
I also tried a older crDroid, namely crDroidAndroid-10.0-20200326-dipper-v6.4.zip — this one boots just fine …
Did I do anything wrong? Before posting a big bad bunch of logcat, I’d love to know if I’m mistaken somewhere rather basic …
… Thanks for all the work you put into this ^_^
Best,
-NebuK
did you flash Dm verity.zip?
Great ROM
Also, battery is good and the user interface is liquid smooth. Regarding that matter THE best ROM out there.
But It's still buggy a little bit for me.
For example the dialer needs to be closed and reopened to properly display information about calls that are just made or just deleted. It doesn't refresh UI automatically.
.zip i attached bellow contains a .mp4 video that describes the dialer UI update problem i'm facing. Also, camera app crashes if you fiddle with its settings and needs the device reboot to be able to use it again.
Hope they fix these tiny problems.
I wiped system and caches, formatted data, flashed V11.0.5.0.QEAMIXM firmware, crDroid, OpenGapps and a disable forced encryption zip. My phone only boots to fastboot. Luckily, I can still boot into TWRP.
Does crDroid not like having encryption disabled, or have I done something else incorrectly?
EDIT: I tried again and it worked when I didn't flash DFE. The Mi8 doesn't like DFE?
Also, swiping down in recent apps doesn't clear the recent apps list, despite it being enabled in the home screen settings (long-press on the home screen-> settings-> miscellaneous).
Hi! Does not pass the Safetynet check. Will this be fixed?
Hey. Can't install version 7. After booting the system, the initial settings do not work. What am I doing wrong?
Smooth Android 11 ROM using Nikgapps.
Is there a way to use face unlock with the MI 8 infrared camera to unlock the phone in the dark? And also the battery bar (crDroid Settings, Status bar) can't be really used because of the device cutout(can't really see it), and it can't be moved.
Otherwise it's a great beta ROM.
Can anyone post MD5 sum of file final release crDroid version 6.12 named "crDroidAndroid-10.0-20201115-dipper-v6.12" please?
I have issues with downloading.
Thank you for your beautiful works!
The bluetooth can be connected to the speaker but there was no sound at all.
A perfect ROM on Android 11.
Thanks developer
NFC is nowhere to be found, not even in search bar, in quick settings it's greyed out so not available, only me?
The Rom is really good my only trouble is signal/reception is poor. Getting no signal in my house whereas normally I'd get minimal 2 or 3 bars.
UPDATE: flashing latest firmware fixed issue.

Additional installation instructions if coming from stock MIUI:
In order to install a custom ROM you must have an unlocked bootloader. You can apply for this at Xiaomi's official site: https://en.miui.com/unlock/
You then need to install a custom recovery. Official TWRP builds are available, and the official maintainer has a thread with installation instructions here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi...covery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-mi-mix-t3941867
Once you have TWRP installed, boot into recovery mode. Wipe cache, dalvik, system, vendor partitions.
The official TWRP for Mix 3 5G cannot decrypt A12+ encryption scheme so if you see scrambled filenames in recovery mode and want to access your files then use my unofficial build (version 3.7.0-12.0).
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-andromeda/files/twrp-3.7.0_12-0-andromeda.img/download
You are strongly advised to flash the latest modem firmware. You can grab that here:
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/andromeda/
This only needs to be done once, once the updated firmware has been flashed you can forget about it. If you get any warnings while trying to flash the firmware just delete "compatibility.zip" from inside the firmware zip.
WARNING: You will lose all saved files on your internal storage in the next step, make a backup of important files before proceeding
Data partition must be formatted (not wiped) to remove MIUI encryption. Use the bottom right "Format Data" button in the Wipe menu. You will be asked to type "yes" to confirm your choice.
At this point your internal storage will be empty. Copy the ROM from your PC to the phone, click install in TWRP and select the ROM. If you wish to install magisk or any other zips, copy it to the phone and install after the ROM. Once you have flashed the ROM and any add ons, you must format internal storage again as it must be completely empty for the very first custom ROM boot.
Reboot back to system and enjoy custom ROM goodness
To finish off the true Pixel experience, most users would like to install Google Camera. Unfortunately most gcam ports don't work very well on this device. The most compatible version that was found by the testers on the Mix 3 5G telegram group (https://t.me/mimix3_5G) is this build by Urnyx: https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v1.9.apk
This version has full 1080p/60fps and 4k/30fps support on the rear camera, but the front selfie camera will cause the app to crash.
The stock camera works fine with selfies and also starts when you open the slider. If you really want gcam, I would advise to install Urnyx's port and set the slider to open stock camera. Best of both worlds
Great ROM phone works better than ever. One question though, I'm unable to update Chrome, is there a work around?
Yes just go to apkmirror and download the latest chrome APK sorted it for me
Custom rom installed, I'm starting testing
Hi,
First of all, thanks for your work. I have 2 question, first I saw that this rom seems to in selinux permissive mode, do you intend to try to get in enforcing mode?
Second, I'm new to Pixel Experience (more used to lineageos) what is the difference between the normal an the "plus edition"
Thanks
ARCore doesn't seem to be working (incompatible) with PE currently without rooting the device and changing the fingerprint. Any fix soon?
Also a port of Gcam that works on the device is called pixelcam 2.0 and the gcam it is based on, although you have to mess around in the settings to recognise both the telephoto and rear camera. The only things that don't work is blur and focus tracking, although the gcam port it's based on does do these correctly, it doesn't detect the telephoto lens. (The front 'selfie' flash doesn't work on both)
[EDIT]: FOR THE PEOPLE THAT GET INTO A SOFT LOCK AFTER FORMATTING YOUR PHONE.
You have to use the official miui tools (miflash) (https://androidmtk.com/download-xiaomi-mi-flash-tool) as well as appropriate fastboot miui rom (the file you want ends in .tgz)(https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/miui/andromeda/).
After downloading your files, put miflash in the root directory of your C:\ drive. Then keep on extracting the rom archive untill you end up with a folder and also put it in the root directory of your C:\ drive.
Reboot the phone into fastboot mode and connect it to your computer.
Then use miflash, select the rom folder, and completely wipe and reflash your phone (remembering to select the option to not relock the bootloader). If the flash fails, try changing your cable.
You then allow for a couple of minutes for miui to start and format the internal storage.
After the set-up screen appears, you go into fastboot and flash the custom recovery (TWRP) (https://dl.twrp.me/andromeda/). Go into the recovery and copy across your zip files for PE and optionally Magisk. Then wipe the dalvik, system, and cache. Then immediately flash your zips.
Don't format your data otherwise you end up back at step 1.
Then restart and boot back into the recovery and wipe data and internal storage. Then boot into PE.
Edit 2: Or you can just flash vbmeta as shown further in the thread.
Inkypen said:
You have tripped AVB (Android Verified Boot) which can be disabled by flashing a modified vbmeta image. All of my ROMs contain the disabled vbmeta image, but when coming from MIUI for the first time sometimes the enabled vbmeta persists and you got this load error. The following steps assume you have working fastboot and drivers, which must be true otherwise you wouldn't be able to install TWRP lol
Download this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=2188818919693780960
Reboot into fastboot mode (hold volume down button while resetting phone)
Connect to PC and type the following in a terminal:
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
The authenticate error will now be gone and you can try to install the ROM again.

The Mix 3 (codename perseus) has completely different hardware (Snapdragon 845 vs Snapdragon 855) compared to the Mix 3 5G (codename andromeda) which makes them completely incompatible with each other.
Phone doesn't want to charge when it reaches zero battery (device shut down) unless its booted into recovery mode (TWRP).
Not 100% sure where to report bugs so I'm putting it here.

Yes I have experienced the same issue plus my phone isn't fast changing with the official charger and usb cable supplied.
I'm aware of the offline charging bug and I already have it fixed in my testing builds. For now just hold volume up button when connecting charger so that it boots in to recovery mode.
You should use anx camera with this Rom instead of Google camera
To anyone using this rom, anxcamera is a must have! It's the miui camera ported over to AOSP and everything is working fine (incudes front flash, 960fps slow motion, 4k h265, filters and effects and the lot) I haven't experienced any bugs with it either and the quality in on par with the Google camera app. Download from the official website as the developer closed his xda forum

I flashed the latest build 185 and the "ANXCustLibs For Q" although I tired the "48MPFixQ_181.GlossyIntelligentCock.zip" file too which also worked perfectly. I installed it using magisk

Well put, I flashed and booted the crdroid11 gapps gsi with oxygen 11 firmware following this, booted on the first attempt, twenty minutes after oneplus gave unlock token. twrp does not go into fastbootd, had to use stock recovery after initial backup. Sanity returns, been without rooted device over two months.
Glad it helps. Yes twrp not fully working avoid it. I forgot to mention to use stock recovery or recovery from any roms posted in this forum (derpfest, oneplus or lineage). They are same.
Wow, do biometrics work on this GSI?
It based on PHH's AOSP R and AndyYan Lineage GSI. All errors same, but fingerprints working. They have versions with Gapps but I don't use them. I'm don't need custom ROM with Google. Pointless! Rooted and debloated stock OxygenOS in my opinion is best way in that case.
Buy the way I'm thesting right now latest Phh AOSP 400.d with Android 12. It works flawless on my phone.

If A12 GSI has fingerprint working on N10 5G, it'll be a perfect daily driver. Getting annoyed with all bloat. Does 5G work properly too?

I don't have 5g plan, can't tell you. On last version of android 11 it used to show you option to change to 5G/LTE/3G/2G. On Android 12 it not shows on my phone.Fingerprints working.
And couple glitches if you try it. In my case after setup preferred mobile network setuo on 3G, so change it . Install ims. Check post above.BT,Camera,Sound, Storage,Tethering,OTG,Seedvault, AdAway, Google Maps and su working. I'm using arm64-ab-vndklite-vanilla on top of Android 11 with unlocked bootloader, stock boot and recovery. Not sure about any fancy stuff and banking apps.
Yes five 5G works on this one and all the gsi's on that source forge. And it works on a11 firmware(I haven't tried 10 firmware), I keep reading we're stuck on 10 for gsi's, that has not been my experience at all! Also the product_gsi.img is the proper method over deleting the product partition.
You can install Google's 12 gsi(on 11 firmware as I tested it), I grabbed the image from /data/gsi/dsu after downloading it through dsu loader in developer setting. The gsi's it seems attempt dsu install, I think OnePlus would need to enable it, it ends up booting whatever system you have installed with the new blank userdata image. The would-be Google 12 gsi system will flash with fastboot.

Thank you for advise. I tried google before phh.Prefer phh.Maybe because of name goo.... Long time using phones without less google stuff if possible. Used CalixOS on my last Pixel until it decided to jump from cliff!
But any way I build my own using phh code, implement some changes related to phone and provider (ims, mobile network detection, ril, bt headset connection,MicroG).

I somehow disabled my accelerometer, and proximity sensor. I did the usual msm restore, to no avail. I'm stumped. It broke after a botched fastboot flashing. How might you approach such a situation? You might have experience with something like making an overlay specific to a device? I am so stumped with this, I have reflashed every partition I can find from payload bins and ops files....I use one of those sensor apps(the one in phh settings shows nothing at all, or crashes) more than one says simply "this device has no sensors"

Check if you have /persist/sensors first. If you on stock try factory mode as someone sugested here on these forum.
Ok, so I have been experimenting and torturing this device for months now and I still love it. I have learned sooo much using this as my test bunny for all the cool custom ROMS and extra bells and whistles that it can possibly throw at it and in it. I owe it all to everyone that posts in this forum and XDA. I learned all this stuff from you,

and it has become a passion of mine now. I have experimented with other devices as well using knowledge and tools acquired here. And now here I am today.
This is my current set up:
Nord N10 5G T-mobile US Variant
I used MSM tools and some file manipulation to kill the T-mobile issue {evil grin} thanks to "some random username: and "Kronflux"
* =sorry fellas if I goofed up your nicks
I installed a stable working release of Android 12 running on a Pixel 5 GSI from ErfanGSI.Tools
I am rooted thru Magisk 23 using a *PE boot image and flashed patch thru Platform tools (the old school method)
I use Nova Prime Beta as a launcher
*does not pass safety net but can run and use most all mods work
It runs very smooth, however Chrome does *not work yet all other Google crap seems to be fine.
5G WORKS!!!! There is a hardware error on bootup, but it doesn't flake out.
Battery life is terrific, and it doesn't get hot.
No camera app with this GSI but I have an app I prefer, and it performs perfect.
90hz refresh has to be forced in dev options.
No SD access from PC only access thru device
All the sudzie powers of Hell and Android 12 work perfectly.
Overall this build is great, and it's running Android 12!! A12 is not going to be awarded the chance to run officially on this device so it makes me happy to run it "our way"!
All software install and mods were performed using the newest Platform tools with ADB and fastboot. Also, I used the latest lineage recovery during the setup.
No TWRP, no sideloads. This is a GSI not a ROM.
Again, big thanks to you all for making these things available.
#XDA rocks!
You on 10 firmware? There's no reason you shouldn't get 5G I have metro and this phone rocks 15-20 mb down, and 5g all day. My goal is to hit a terrebyte of data in a month. I'm eight days in the cycle and have 90 gigs so far, 3x the throttle limit. I think the 5g radio likely has to do with the 10.x firmware. I know it's written here and telegram that customs only run on 10 firmware, however I've been running a11 treble gsi's on 11 firmware the whole time, The gsi's from lir lineage post run perfect on 11 firmware,
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lir-gsi-rom-for-nord-n10-5g.4353167/
as for safety net, magisk hideprops does the trick with a quick setup. everything workings on these phones, double tap to wake, bluetooth, wired headsets, i hear trouble with nfc, google pay has worked the couple times i tried(thats how i confirm safety net).
One plus are nice phones right? Ive had the 6t and have my sights on 8t as well, 6t i had dualboot and it runs postmarketos with mainline 5.x linux kernel. all oneplus phones far as i know, including this one, support monitor mode and wifi with hotspot at the same time, they are nethunter friendly.
My favorite with this phone though, is the stereo speakers, loudest phone in my circle of friends, and decent quality.
Have fun hacking your phone!

I need to change the part about 5G It works!! Yes, I started from scratch with an MSM build from A10, swapped the T-mobile crap out and made it International during set up, flashed GSI, flashed* PE boot.img then patched Magisk file. All works perfectly now other that the hardware error during GUI launch at boot time {due to processor I imagine} This phone is a beast. I have run every single available ROM I could put in it with no problems. I want to run Derpfest 12 as soon as I can find a stable one. I actually got Derp 12 to run but it wasn't even for this device!! Ive even run dual boot chaos and havoc on this thing once I figured the A/B thing out. This is my first year testing and studying development on my own so it's really exciting.
After bricking it, I did:
msm international
ota from 10 to 11.02
from there its ota again to 11.03(right back to slot a)
I run debloater, toggle unlock oem, flash token,
"fastboot flashing unlock_critical" next boot is flash the vbmeta images with --disable-verity --disable-verification then flash recovery from pixel experience and sideload magisk via adb. I avoid flashing a patched boot image over a stock on devices with shared blocks, so recovery via sideload or through orange fox/twrp/booted system works as well.
Deleting partitions on any oneplus is bad etiquette as I've learned from other devices, there's a product_gsi.img linked in lir post or make a 16kb blank sparse image to flash as a "place holder" for the partition. i use crdroid11 w gapps on system_a with an already patched boot. Another important detail is to use the platform-tools from sdk website, reboot to bootloader to flash and use fastboot -w if y= you'll see the android's custom f2fs utility do it's thing. Right here you would have the the a11 phh_based gsi a stable 5g radio, you have to enable ims in settings, along with the apn, to get calls and text going you install ims apk from phh settings, that's also where you turn on auto brightness, disable a2dp offloading for bluetooth, enable dt2w and I forget to mention check the safety net box. I go as far as to patch the super image resize vendor/system to allow rw and a little wiggle room to disable force encryption, then add a bootanimation.zip from the op6 crdroid.

A couple of days ago my mom gave me this phone. So, i want a new Android (and kick the s**t out all the bloatware of Samsung). After several tries, i make TrebleDroid vanilla works. And really good! Hell, even shows dual sims!
...And since there's no trace of someone doing this (or a guide), here are the steps. It was trial and error but i did it and it worked. (Sorry for english, i'm a native spanish speaker):
On original firmware:
- Activate OEM unlock in Developer Options
- Enable USB debugging
This is the version I used for Android 13 (at the moment, system-td-arm64-ab-vndklite-vanilla.img.xz from ci-20230510)

1.- After flashing OEM rom, select a manual date 10 days before the current date of the phone.
2.- remove the automatic update option, and select manual download, then restart. Check that developer options is disable.
3.- enter google and samsung account on the phone.
4.- wait 3 hours (in my case, less. 1 hour), enable developer options and there will be the OEM unlock enabled.
With ODIN load TWRP-jackpot2lte-Treble.img (it's version 3.2.3 - 3.3.0 didn't give me good results)
All of the following steps refer to TWRP:
- After installing TWRP without entering the rom, /data must be formatted. After that, reboot into recovery mode using the reboot menu. If /data is not formatted, the partitions will remain encrypted and the rest cannot be wiped.
-------------------------------------------------- -----------------------
From now on, every time you make a change, you must reboot, because without this step, loading anything via TWRP will fail (if you didn't reboot, the rom will not start or froze, or the zip will not load correctly, or you'll see partition access errors on the log). ALL STEPS MUST BE FOLLOWED OR THE SYSTEM WILL REMAIN ON THE ANDROID LOADING SCREEN FOREVER.
-------------------------------------------------- -----------------------
- After reboot, Wipe in /cache,/vendor (if it exists. Otherwise it will be created later),/system,/data,/dalvik. Reboot into recovery mode using the reboot menu.
- Load TrebleCreator-A730F.zip. It will create the partitions for treble. It has an automatic reboot. After the reboot it should show the script and then reboot again and go back to TWRP. If the automatic reboot does not happen and the script screen doesn't show up, you will have to start again from the /data format step. It is vital since the automatic reboot and script screen indicates that the partitions were all correctly loaded.
- Load RMM_Bypass_v3_corsicanu.zip. This is to bypass the OEM lock. It should be done before Vendor-Quack, as the vendor zip encrypts the /vendor partition and makes it inaccessible. Reboot into recovery mode using the reboot menu.
- Load Vendor-Quack_V2.6.zip. Reboot into recovery mode using the reboot menu.
- Finally, the .img of Android 13. One last reboot to recovery and THEN reboot to system.
After this the rom should start without problems. TWRP builds with treble are now LOCKED once booted. When trying to enter recovery, they get frozen at the TWRP boot screen. In order to load gapps, you must load the "latest" version of TWRP (in quotes because TWRP version 3.7.0 does not load since it is larger than the /boot partition. In this case, you must load 3.6.2 ) using Odin and Download mode.
Download TWRP for jackpot2lte
Download TWRP Open Recovery for jackpot2lte
dl.twrp.me
Once the latest version of TWRP is loaded, the zips can be loaded without problems. IN THIS VERSION OF TWRP IT IS SUGGESTED NOT TO MAKE ANY CHANGES. ZIP INSTALLATION ONLY. Surely something will ruin this version of twrp if something is done with it since it does not show the /vendor partition.
Gapps that works: NikGapps. That's it
Go! Get crazy and share the results!
THINGS THAT DONT WORK SO FAR:
- Lantern (with the system doesn't work. If u use flash on camera, WORKS)
- Brightness is very picky. (on settings you'll find "Phh Treble Settings". There are some extra functions disabled -- by default? -- go check and see whats best for u. BUT! Careful, Icarus. Don't mess with stuff u dont know.)
- i don't have a SIM at the moment, so i can't tell if phone works.
- Root? Don't need it. Don't know if it's working.

Yes. It's a GSI from @phhusson. All vanilla, no modification whatsoever. Kernel is included on Vendor_Quack, a SaR posted here too, from @prashantp01 . All is based on guides and files from this same forum (and all files and sources are linked here), except the steps.

No problem. I'll quote everyone involved for making this Done
As for the steps, as i said, it was trial and error. There was no guides or something that i know of (FOR ANDROID 13). I just take a leap of faith based on last good know version working (Android 11) and use that, since Android 12 was no good in some details.

A GSI does not include a kernel, but since you linked to an established project that already has a published source, everything is good.
Thank you for adding credits.
I don't know if you saw this, but the Magisk installation instructions include details on how to defeat KG/Vaultkeeper.
Did Android 13 worked for you , and did you try setting lock as that seems to cause a bootloop .
If it worked can you tell me how you did it as my phone's seems to bootloop after trying to set a lock (pin, etc) on Android 12 and 13 and I have already tried PixelExperience and LineageOs .

Can confirm. Since i was just testing, didnt need to lock it. After trying to set a pattern or pin lock (and systemUI crashes), ive reboot and then a soft bootloop (for 3 seconds i can see lock screen, then android boot screen, 3 sec lock screen and so...).
After another reboot, bootloop.
I dont have this issue since lock screen was just sliding.
Another issue: bluetooth is working, but when wireless speakers are on sync, no sound whatsoever. A common fault on several android 13 installations as i can tell.
Remember that @phhusson is adding exynos updates on TrebleDroid, so we should expect (or beg, cant tell ) that more fixes are on the way?
And BTW if Someone needs it the best Roms/GSI for A8+ are TreeUi(S20 Port) , PixelExperience (11) and FusionX(10,maybe) and Don't try Android 12 /13Gsi as they don't work currently.

This guide most of all was because a couple of users were asking if there's a way to run Android 13 on their A8s. So there's an answer for that now. Almost.
