I opened marketplace today and it says theres an update for "Diagnosis" on my Samsung Omnia 7???
It says its version 1.8.0.0 and its 1900544MB big...
released 23/08/2010
what does this mean? i think the release date was the first date it was released not the update date.
could this be the big update we've been waiting for? i mean... its mahoosive??

Don't think so. Downloading the update only took a few seconds
Yeah I have this too. I don't think I actually want to try it though. Anyone else......
if you ever notice... all updates show a huge number for the download. it's a bug in the market place. this also relates to the bug where you cannot update trial apps (can only update by uninstall and reinstall).
as for the samsung update... just update it... if it's from the OEM, then there is a reason for the update... though in saying that, it could change the password to diagnosis... i have a HTC so i don't even know it
I'm on orange in the uk and no update for me,is this an app update as it's in the marketplace
i assume you have to have entered the diagnosis code to get it showing up in the apps list in order to get the update?
cause i'm on orange UK samsung omnia 7 and its there for me! i'll try it later on the update, no battery atm
wpcentral has written an article about it:
http://wpcentral.com/samsung-kills-audio-hack-windows-phone-7-update
ahh i see! seems odd they'd only change a number to stop people from using the audio settings thing :S
News embargo's were lifted about 15 minutes ago, and confirming the devices that will get Wear 2.0 (obviously Huawei is on the list). There's loads of news articles about the new watches and Wear 2.0 itself.
No word on when the OTA will start yet, but if you happen to get a notification then capture the url and share with us!
HOW TO OBTAIN A OTA URL BY /u/konrad-iturbe: Please note that you will need to enable developer options on the watch before you can do this. You can do this by tapping the build number 7 times. If you suddenly get a notification that the update has been downloaded and is ready to install (like what happened to me at 12am) go grab your phone, go to the Android wear app and tap the 3 dot menu and select Report Wearable Bug. Now, it will take a lot of time, it retrieves like the last hour or so, and then you will get a notification on the phone saying the report was received, then send it to you with an email client, it will send a .txt file, download it. Open the file with an editor on your phone and search for .zip, or use my method which is using cat bugreport.zip | grep ".zip" in your favorite terminal app which was much faster! Then just message OP with the URL.
Point is, if you get the notification you still have a chance to get the URL.
Will do. No update available on mine yet. I'm on DP5, don't know if that will effect when I will have it available.
No update for mine. I don't even have the update notification. Waiting!
Watching (heh) like a hawk. Will try to capture OTA URL if I happen to snag it. Were you on developer preview when you got the notification?
So you got the OTA already? You seem to be the only one that got it, I haven't seen anyone else post anywhere.

The Huawei watch does not have the NFC hardware needed for Android Pay.

I was hopeful Android Wear 2.0 would be available as an OTA update today. From what I've read thus far, it appears as though today's announcement was to indicate AW 2.0 was officially released and more importantly, to allow LG to FINALLY start selling their new line of AW 2.0 powered smartwatches. It looks like OTA updates for existing watches, however, won't begin until the 15th. I sure hope I'm wrong though....
Quick question, will the latest Developer Preview build get the update to official Android Wear 2.0, or do I have to flash back to the stock 1.5 version? I have been looking around and can't find any info on it.

Yeah... I decided to re-stock anyway, and I'm just waiting for the OTA now.

Hello,
My favorite watch face, Digitalog, was lost after updating my W1 to Wear 2.0.
Here are two screenshots with the watch face:

Is this documented anywhere?
Is there a way to get it back?
Thank you.

Go to facerepo.com and search it. It's there.
Thank you for your reply.
I did find 2 versions there as indicated, however, I would like the original watch face.
I liked it for its minimalism, whereas the versions on facerepo.com are "improved".
Also, they seem to require additional software to run on my watch, but perhaps I misunderstood.
Again, thank you for your suggestion.
Unfortunately, this watch face has been removed in the Android Wear 2.0 update.
There is no way to enable it, unhide or else.
What you could try is find the source code of Android Wear 1.5 and take the .apk file and sideload it.
So it was an Android watch face, not a Huawei one.
Also something I wasn't able to find out.
Thank you.
Any clue as to where I could find AW1.5?
*bump*

Check Line Watch Face, it's almost the same but with a lot of added Android Wear 2.0 functionality.
Hey guys, I'm in a pickle.
I got absolutely smashed one night and was set loose on the computer..... So now I'm the owner of an AL00.
I'm new to huawei devices and would love some input.
I understand this is a Chinese version.
Could you guys recommend to me what I should do straight away? I don't mine if you link me to other threads and recommendation and then just help me also.
I had looked in the huawei app store and couldn't find Google play.
Go to Hicare app(it is mostly in chinese) and on the top bar type google. You will see google play store. Install it and go from there. Not too hard.
Does anyone know why the GWA2 R820 CTJ5 firmware disappeared from Samsung changelog pages (https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-R820/KOO/doc.html) since Monday? This is not happening on the Korean firmware only but on other CSCs. Did Samsung notice something (a critical bug perhaps) on its latest firmware and removed it?

Seems still online...
Sometimes they play with database... maybe temporary gone...
Only Samsung knows what they are doing... and why...

Thanks! I check this page on a daily basis to see if a new firmware has been released. I also thought at first that they may be editing their db, but it has been 3 days know and I was kind of worried
To check if new Firmware is under development...
MonthS/yearS was use Test Server Link:
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/KOO/SM-R820/version.test.xml
Since few dayS maybe weeks... Samsung made it harder...
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/KOO/SM-R840/version.test.xml
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/KOO/SM-R800/version.test.xml
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/KOO/SM-R500/version.test.xml
They also changed something in QA crap... so I have no more access...
IMHO they interact like angry Ki.s...
Best Regards
