DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Test this DerpFest-11-Community-Beta-DRG_sprout-20210311-0612 build
Nicely working.
Now only thing I want is Google Play certification.
As I can't use any banking app.
And can't use it as my daily driver.
Also microphone is not working.
Can't make calls
This is nice stable rom, lot of customizations compare other android 11 custom roms. Three mode Notch Handler (display cut out) is missing but it's available in android 10 derpfest. In recent build mic is not working during call.

Wew
anx & gcam supported?
Yeah Anx 164 working well.
Everything seems to be fine except for:
1 com.phone.process fc's sometimes
2 Scrolling everywhere is very choppy which surprisingly gets rectified if you disable hardware overlays in developer settings

I had a long discussion with another developer last night. The result is that both me and him will be the official maintainer of derpfest.
But from the next version, he will compile derpfest with gapps, but mine won't.
btw he will also update derpfest Q this week.thank you for understanding

I think you can flash the custom kernel after flashing the ROM.I used the pixel experience kernel instead of other custom kernels because most custom kernels use some specific things to build, and when I try to build he will give an error
There are several updates but i didn't check because there is no new post in this thread and also goes official and that's awesome.
P.S. You can post change log if any to bump the thread on top.
Thank you for your work and the rom is awesome.
Please, upload the rom 20200105 to another cloud ( Google, Yandex, Mega...)
2020105 is offical?

Hi There !
Thank you very much for your effort for this device !! :good:
I got some Questions for this ROM. (I am no dev , so pls don't be offended if something i ask seems stupid !)
1. Are there any chances that this device get a "vanilla" - Version of DerpFest ?
2. Does this rom has selinux enforcing? (If not, is this planned ?)
3. Does device encyption work ?
4. does the Screenrecoder [from Power-Button-Menu] records audio&video or just visuals (video without sound) ?
5. Is this ROM pre-rooted ? (via Magisk ?)
If not rooted, is there a best practice to do so ?
6. Are there Instructions to install this ROM on the Z01R ? Or will any other, taken from another ROM for the Z01R will do the job ?
Hopefully this are not just to much questions. I want to be sure that the trouble of Installing a new ROM on my "daily Phone" will give good results !
Greetings

Greetings

1. I build on my laptop with limited resources so that would be impossible
2. I plan to fix SELinux enforcing (hopefully on the next release)
3. Yes
4. There doesn't appear to be internal audio recording on the power menu option (but there is also OxygenOS' screenrecorder which has internal audio recording, can be accessed using its QS tile)
5. No it isn't, use Magisk
6. Use the same steps as you would for other roms
Thanks a lot for the fast response. :good::good::good:
your answers are very promising !!
I gonna wait for the SELinux enforced Version and give it a try to build vanilla at home.
Thanks

Proton and lineage 18 are fine to do this, as they bundle the firmware in the zip. This ROM doesn't tho. So if you are coming from 10. Then please update firmware or flash Los 18 / proton first before flashing this ROM

Don't think so. OTA updates is something reserved for official builds only.
Is it gapps included. or i have to flash ???

Most specific Custom ROMs do not come with GAPPS. You need to flash GAPPS with TWRP or any Custom recovery by yourself.

This ROM has built-in GApps. It says that in the OP.
It's me again, and I would like to represent for Niko (the maintainer of this ROM) that this project was discontinued by him as he has quitted the picasso community. Thank you everyone for helping on his project !
It has a new version, I hope you can update it if you have time, thank you!
