Hello! What is your experience using MIUI 10 Beta ? How stable is it and are there any critical bugs in it? How do things go with energy consumption? How quickly do bugs fix there?
I want to know that did Xiaomi stopped beta program for miui 10? Or it's just they didn't provide weekly build today?
Because i'm on miui 10 beta and didn't recieve any uodate today. So i thought maybe since they have launched public stable buil so they have stopped beta program. Is it true?

It is because their devs are on holidays. They do this annually, they made a post about this and the next beta build comes at 11/10.
MIUI Beta and Stable are largely the same for now. Both are good in battery life and performance but I found MIUI 10 a bit stuttering with animations and scrolling compared to MIUI 9.6.4. Also weirdly the graphics options in PUBG has been reduced with MIUI 10. Don't know why.. Switched to MSM-X Pie Rom for now.

How? What about Anti Roll back? I was in Resurrection remix before Miui 10 but after miui 10 i have to stick with it because of ARB policy. Also miui 10 public build has no finger print lock option. But i'm on beta build so everything seems to be working fine here for now.

Arb doesn't apply to custom ROMs. You can switch between custom ROMS as usual. Just don't go back to a older version of MIUI. Fingerprint works in stable build for me.

Oh. Thanks. Then i'll definitely try Android Pie based Custom ROMS. But Camera quality becomes worse in Custom ROMS.
What's the point of having a good camera hardware if it's in no use in custom ROMS.

Wrong.
Most of the custom roms for whyred come with mi A2 camera pre installed,the you can add gcam onto that.there is no difference between miui and custom camera.because its not the operatint system that defines quality of the picture taken with camera,its the application you are using.
If its a better application or same,there wont be any difference.

Actually in my oneplus one and oneplus 5 custom roms doesn't give same camera quality as stock roms. That's why i'm afraid to flash custom rom on redmi note 5 pro. :/

I finally found a stable 6.1 gcam for our beloved whyred. My model is Chinese AI red. I am currently using Havoc OS 2.4 (Android 9) without any patch, root or modified kernel. All standard of rom itself.
The apk's author is marlin-ku (https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-marlin-ku/)
Notice: You need camera2api enabled!
Recommendations:
Disable 4k video (use full hd)
HDR on the front camera DOES NOT WORK (but if you disable it, everything works)

I do not have the MIUI to test, just Havoc OS, but a person who has tested it and said it did not work.

You're right, Xiaomi should enable camera2api by default, on MIUI Pie it's just a value on build.prop, nothing more nothing less, it's awfull marketing
I have camera2api enabled but get only forced close.
I'm using MASIK 4.1 Miui pie. Front camera work fine for photos and videos. One bug is superzoom in front camera video with 60fps.
But finally we can use one GCAM TRUE Stable.

What is your ROM? Kernel? Firmware? Do you have root?
Im on LineageOS 16 with Magisk 19.1 and 9.4.18 firmware installed.

Very interesting. I have the latest version of Havoc OS 2.4, on my Chinese note 5 with stable firmware 10.3.4, with absolutely nothing else (root, patch camera, kernel) and this was the most stable version I've ever installed on my whyred. Everything works, minus HDR on the front camera and the 4k video. Everything else works perfectly here.

Would anyone please help... I acquired a Redmi K30i 5G (note the "i" and device codename also PICASSO) it has 48M camera (K30 5G is 64M). I installed the latest stable PICASSO (see caption) from xiaomi.EU. Issues below:
Camera: keep stopping, photos very blurry and reversed, always start with the front camera
Updater: keep stopping
Is there any other ROMs for K30i 5G? I tried to register and contact xiaomi.EU but it keeps rejecting.

In xiaomi.eu site there is only one version of miui rom for k30i, can we also flash the k30 version, as the codename is same?

I downloaded the latest xiaomi.eu developer rom, but everytime when i am going to flash new rom i need to format data. I am using unofficial twrp, are there any other recovery where i dont need to format data everytime?

Yes, usually just remove the device password, it worked in 2 diferrent devices.
After installing Indonesia rom in mi 11x camera app closing when I try click a photo earlier it doesn't occurred to me. Am i missing anything?

When you mean a "Indonesia rom" are we talking Stock or Custom Rom,
was your phone ok up to when you flashed this rom,
have you tried to do a Factory reset from within the rom,
i have found that when things go a bit strange installing stock Firmware (without re-locking your bootloader) fixes must issues,
Install your new rom over the top of the stock firmware,
once completed remember to Format data,
I hope you sort it

Most likely that problem is from source, try downgrade other version indonesia firmware.
To fix this problem you can change fingerprint from aliothin to alioth using magisk hide props

Hi,
If you have a unlocked bootloader, i would suggest to move away from Stock MIUI, if you prefer the MIUI way of things then i would also suggest a Xiaomi.eu rom as cyngalaxy did.
I am not a fan of MIUI Roms, as they limit me from using my Galaxy watch as a trusted device in the secutiry setting,
I use the Evo-X v7.4 rom and i it!

I never faced any problem with miui 12.5 Indonesia stock rom though
I am fed up with this problem and I did not find a solution to it, as the phone freezes for two minutes and I cannot do anything but wait..Does anyone have any solution to this problem please

This makes sense, don't worry, you are not alone. MIUI 12.5 is a poorly optimized ROM.
I suggest you unlock the bootloader and flash MIUI 11 Fastboot ROM and lock the bootloader again.

Sadly that is also part of MIUI 12.5, that's the only reason I switched to MIUI 11. For me, MIUI 11 is a good ROM and you can do multi-tasking without any issues (Not at the same level as a custom rom ).
