Hello, I really need your help. I was happy with my DUK-L09C432Bxxx, I rooted it, TWRP recovery, unlocked the Bootloader, unlocked the FRP ..... up to try an update with B182. It was not possible to install it with TWRP, the sytem failed and didn't want to restart. I reinstalled the original recovery and use the DLOAD process for updating with same result. With surfing I discovered I'm not alone in this situation and today, this is :
- cannot reinstall TWRP because the phone doesn't appears with ADB devices command, or unauthorized.
- cannot enter to the recovery for normal update with DLOAD.
- try to do it with DC-Phoenix with Honor 9 ROM (loose 1 IMEI number), with Honor V9 and there is error messages
- do the same wthi Huawei MultiTool, also some errors
I don't want to spend some money to buy another phone, so if someone can help me. I would be eternally gratefull.
Kind regards

Hi there
Probably a silly question, but did you try all the things some of us did on the rebranding thread? The only thing I can think of on top of my head was that we used older roms(B130 I think it was) and this worked like a charm
So...when you restart the phone, it loads on to the erecovery screen or something else?
Hi,
after reboot the phone restart in erecovery mode and of course it failed because there is nothing on the Huawei server. I made some test and that is new and really problematic, with ADB, the device is unauthorized, so I can't do anything. Windows or Linux, same behavior.
Hi everyone,
I have recently flashed my new O5T with OmniROM 8.1, tried a few hours and i decided to restore my backup. But i could not enter TWRP with my pin code. So i enter in as encrypted and wiped it. But when i reset the system the rom didn't start properly, there was only black screen. So i can not set my pin as a password, because i can not enter my settings.
Could anyone please help me on this?
Sorry for my English.
You should try restoring back to stock. U need to be familiar with ADB, which I assume u are. https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/how-to-revert-to-oos-oreo-8-1-t3730952
Hey everyone, so I saw that there was a new update for MIUI Developer ROM (9.3.28) and I decided to download it. After I downloaded it, i opened twrp and flashed it with lazyflasher as I always do. After the phone boots normally, i realised that the phone had been upgraded to android pie, so I went to check google camera to see if it was working still, but it didnt. So I went back to TWRP to try to enable HAL3 via adb shell, but when i opened TWRP i saw a strange message. It asked for a password in order to decrypt my data. this was the first time i saw it and after searching a bit I tried to use my phones password, but it didnt work. I decided to ignore the message and just open adb shell and enable HAL3. The thing is that when I tried to open it said device not found, which is really strange ( im using the same computer as i was before, adb is installed of course ). I had no choice but to downgrade to stable, so I tried to downgrade to stable rom. Downloaded the rom, but when i chose "choose package" it wouldnt let me install the stable one because it was an older version of android....
So long story short, Android Pie has left me with a non-working Google Camera, TWRP and no ability to downgrade or flash and ROMs.
Any help would be appreciated

Same problem with me. I tried everything but no luck and now I am unable to use camera2api. So i thought to root my phone and edit build prop manually but when I flashed magisk my phone stuck at boot logo. I lost all my data and I had to flash with mi flash tool. Luckily my bootloader was unlocked.
After flashing Pie, you have to flash a TWRP recover for MIUI Pie. This will allow to decrypt your device (data will be erased).
If you want to rollback to stable (as I did), download fastboot ROM via MIUI official site, boot to bootloader and flash it via flash_all.bat file included in the ROM (assuming you have fastboot on your PC).
Hey there,
so I am kinda confused here. I've just flashed TWRP and LineageOS onto my Motorola Moto G5S. Now when I want to install Magisk to get root access and therefore boot into TWRP it prompts me with a password entering screen. Despite entering my correct passwordd (Also tried it with a pattern lock) it only says that the decrypt fails and the password would be wrong. Unfortunately I cannot try an older version of TWRP or Android because my main phone died recently and I don't want to use my data completely.
I hope someone can help me and I'll thank y'all in advance.
Booting TWRP from fastboot was giving error so i flashed the stock recovery but now files show encrypted. I dont want to lose them what could i do??
I dont know why they are encrypted as i have read about dm verity, forceencrypt, vbmeta, android 11.. im clueless yet. I have seen a video of someone fixing the problem of encrypted files showing on different model and custom ROM but i dont know whether its the same scenario (i have stock MIUI 12 and cannot boot into it) . Worth to mention i didnt disable the unlock pin before flashing (also tried re-flash other recoveries but none asks pin).
