how to Update using ODIN

Hello
i don't know if this question was asked before i tried to search but nothing
i came from xperia xz and flashing was just as easy as downloading the FTF and flashing in flash mod
i bought my S9 that was stuck at 1 Dec 2018 software and no new updates are available (even with smart switch) to download so my best solution is to update it manually using ODIN
i used to have a galaxy gear watch and s5 and flashing was also simple but i came across a thread that said something about CSC Version and i am sacred that i may brick the phone while trying to update it
can someone point me in the right directions ?
my CSC : G960FOXM2CRLI
Service provider SW ver.
SAOMC_SM-G960F_OXM_KSA_PP_0002
KSA/EGY, EGY/XSG
baseband version
G960FXXU2CRLI
build number
PPR1.180610.011.G960FXXU2CRLI
and i live in egypt but the phone was sold is KSA if that's matters
any help please ?
thanks in advance

If there are no updated KSA firmwares for your S9, flash any CSC for the G960F, Germany (DBT ) has the latest June update
If you have KSA sim card need to flash KSA firmware with only Home CSC also and if you have EGY sim card and will come OTA downloads
KSA/KSA,KSA/XSG

Well yes you need CSCs to match for OTA, but it is not necessary for normal usage, once my region releases the latest update I will flash back for OTA
so it's normal to flaash any firmware even if the CSC doesn't match? only the phone model number right? flashing on ODIN like thr normal way kust like the s5? nothing else need to be done ? like enabling/disabling stuff on developper options ? OEM unlock? sorry for my noobies questions

Normal if your own region CSC has not updated their firmware yes, but you will not receive OTA updates until the CSCs match and will have to flash manually each update
There is a big thread about it so I'm not going to go into it in detail here, quick search should find what you need
Nothing else needed, boot to download mode and flash with Odin 3.13.1
Thank you

Firmware to downgrade SM-R805F

Hello everybody!
I need the firmware R805FXXU1ESI1 to downgrade and change the CSC of my Galaxy Watch, but unfortunately I only find it in Easy-firmware, and I don't have an account there:
R805FXXU1ESI1 Tizen 3File | Easy Firmware
easy-firmware.com
I need this version exactly, because my region is ZTO and I need this base firmware (OWO).
Thank you very much in advance.

As per my understanding, I have to follow these steps:
1. Flash combinational firmware
2. Change CSC using SDB commands
3. Flash stock firmware
4. Install samsung pay
5. Repeat steps 1-3 to change CSC back to the original so that i retain mobile connectivity
@galaxys I have the same watch model but with Tizen 5.5. Would the same old firmware work with my watch also?

Thanks for your early reply otherwise i was thinking of giving it a try.
BTW i found that dialing *#272*IMEI# also change the CSC but did not try because people here are going for flashing firmware due to some reason only. Do you know why shouldn't it work on galaxy watch?

It may be a Samsung thing for not working, but haven't played with changing CSC...
@galaxys @adfree I could not find Tizen 5.5.0.1 firmware for SM-R805F anywhere on the internet. It was released on 15th march 2021.
Is it not available yet? I am waiting for it...

Change region to Active 2 Model SM-R835U

Hi guys!
I want to change the region to my active 2 LTE from US to Mexico so that I can use my Mexican carrier. I got it thinking it was globally unlocked but it looks like it's locked to the US.
I've seen some tutorials but they are for older versions (Tizen 4). This watch is on Tizen 5.5.0.1.
Can anyone please help me out with this?
Thank you very much
Looks like Mexico is OWO Region package... with CSC:
TCE
Step 1.
We need Combination Firmware...
Attached is slightly "modified"... only removed folder + 1 file...
Step 2.
We need OWO package of SM-R835F...
Best Regards
this works if the watch is already on 5.5.01 firmware? version FXXU1BT9
i need some help to not mess it up. since it only has one go through the wireless method.
thanks

Hi, does anyone have the Stock Firmware for Samsung watch active 2 R835U?

Question change firmware newbie question

so i am living in asian country. i bought this phone which is from USA and probably from T-Mobile
Model Code = SM-F926UZKXTMB
Software Version SAOMC_SM-F926U_OYN_TMB_13_0011 TMB/TMB, TMB/XAU/TMB
now i want to remove t-mobile option from it and make it normal also i want to install magisk and root it so i can explore more functions..
as per my research i need to download firmware and then update it with magisk zip img and then install it via ODIN..
my question is to change it from T-Mobile to normal which firmware should i use? and do i need to change CSC also?
EDIT 1: after some research i found out i need to install SM-F926U1 for unlocked version and my CSC CODE for phone is currently TMB but XAA is official unbranded CSC for USA so i am going to download XAA BASED SM-F926U1 firmware and will install it via odin will update here.. if someone see this thread before and i am doing something wrong let me knw
