LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. great job!
please provide androidfilehost or sourceforge link to download this rom
Works great, no problems at all so far.
Two requests, if I may:
Is there a possibility for exFAT support?
I couldn't get Magisk to work. Got stuck in a bootloop. I read that Android 11, TWRP and Magisk don't work nicely together. Is there a way to support that in the ROM? Here's how to do it.
We have exFAT support, via sdFAT. What is not working for you?

My exFAT SD card that I had used on the Samsung ROM stopped working once I was on LineageOS. Android told me to format it. I have since reformatted it to FAT32, but I can get another with exFAT for testing, if that helps.
Edit: Just tried it again with a different card. Android shows "Issue with card" and asks to format it.

Okay, maybe I forgot to pick the fix for that. It was only worked on recently. Next build should be fine.

What don't you understand? LTE variant is now supported, but it's a different type of build. Moreover, there's also the unofficial builds for anyone that wants to use Android 11 based ROM.
Thanks alot for this Have been using since the day of release and haven't had any major issues that come to mind.
Only thing I can think of is the SD Card, but I see that you have planned to fix this, so all good
As well as the device performed in stock form, it's even better without the Samsung software.

What about the sound from the speakers? Love the S5e for its speaker. If Atmos isn't working ... that would be acceptable, but sound should be good for watching movies/songs.

I haven't noticed any difference between stock and LOS 18 when it comes to sound.

That is great to hear. I guess you come from LOS17.1 to 18? So is 18 already stable enough? Or better start with 17.1?

I jumped directly from stock to LOS18. So I can't really compare to LOS17.1. Except for the exFAT issue, everything worked without a hitch. I use it as my daily driver for over a week now.
I had to install Netflix from apkmirror, since the Play Store wouldn't give it to me, but once installed, it works just fine.

But that's to be expected - it's a proprietary thing that wouldn't be available in AOSP/Lineage. It's always been like this with manufacturer extras. Eg, back when I had the HTC One M7, the Beats audio enhancements weren't available on AOSP. (Well, at least not until that official AOSP based ROM was released). I remember a Sony Xperia had camera some image processing disabled if the bootloader was unlocked.
There are always going to be tradeoffs when going to custom roms.
There are usually a ton of Audio ports floating around on XDA, and I know there are some good magisk modules for audio enhancement. Might be worth seeing if any of these work and are worthwhile using on Android 11.
In saying that I haven't had major issues - this is in reference to the actual ROM stability and the functionality provided by LineageOS. It's been rock solid
Thanks @bgcnm, @shaitan667 and @aserraric : I will jump then directly to LOS18. Yes, the missing atmos was expected due to closed source stuff. Although sometimes it is even possible to bind proprietary libs ... so you never know. Let's see when and how I will manage the custom rom. Seems to be more steps than with my older Samsung phone.
Hi
First of all, thank you for supporting this device!
Questions...
- Does this ROM work for all variants of S5e, or all variants of S5e LTE?
- Any prerequisite firmware to be flashed or stock rom version before attempting to install? Or is everything taken care by the rom
- Can this pass safetynet with Magisk root?
Thank you!

- It is only for LTE (T725). There is a separate ROM for WiFi (T720), and they are not interchangeable. I can neither confirm nor deny that the T725N and T725C variants are working with this ROM.
- I started from the latest stock ROM at the time.
- Yes, it passes SafetyNet with the fingerprint from T720.

Ok,
For now I didn't test everything but I have no In call sound.
Through headphone, speaker phone or high speaker.
Rest seems ok, Wifi and everything else worked.
Can't test bluetooth for now.

Also, I unpacked your build, can't see classes.dex in /system/framework/com.nxp.nfc.nq.jar, there are no /system/framework/oat/arm64/com.nxp.nfc.nq.vdex as well.
UPD: All shared libs and apps you copied from MIUI lack classes.dex (QtiTelephonyService, QtiSystemService, NQNfcNci, qcrilhook, QtiTelephonyServicelibrary and etc...). Because of that your in-call audio doesn't work
Could someone clearify something for me. Everywhere I read about MIUI versions like 8.9.20 (the one you mentioned in the first post).
Currently I'm running xiaomi.eu_multi_MI8_V10.0.4.0.OEACNFH_v10-8.1 with getvar anti Failed status. This is a completely different version if understand it well?
At the time I am happy with the rom I'm using, but could someone mention what I should install to get this rom working in the (perhaps nearby) future for me?
@infrag: Great job man!
Edit: Figured out that I have to flash the global MIUI rom, this contains version 8.9.20

Thanks for your analysis
Yes extracting the jars/apks all failed as you've shown. Didn't have time to fix it.
The NFC stuff is because lineage doesn't support NXP NFC yet so therefore I didn't bother adding it all as it wouldn't work straight away anyway. Hopefully I can get the extra lineage stuff for it working next build.
Impressive Job! So fast

BT audio

And notch padding bottom in domes apps webview/site.

Bug reporting:
Before the report make sure that you've installed the latest build of the ROM.
Explain the bug in details and, if possible, methods to reproduce it.
For most issues, you should attach the logcat.
Random reboots? Please upload last_kmsg immediately after the kernel crash.
Note: I will only be providing builds once every month and when new security patches come in. I don't have enough time to be making them every week. Latest build provided should have the June 2019 security patches. These builds should be pure Lineage based builds and they have not been tested so if you could give me feedback i would appreciate it. Please download the latest version of ARM64 OpenGapps and flash along with the ROM to be able to use the play store and other google related services. Also make sure you are using latest twrp recovery. If you want to root i recommend flashing and using Magisk 19.4. Enjoy and i hope you appreciate my pure Lineage 15.1 Unofficial builds for Flounder.

Many thanks! Does this ROM support video HW acceleration?
i'm also here to test.i will be willing to flash this to my Nexus 9 LTE which is not doing anything at the moment and would like to have some oreo love or pie love.
---------- Post added at 04:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:17 PM ----------
sure will these rom builds work on a nexus 9 LTE as well.i will test as i dont use the nexus 9 lte that much. would like to have a newer build of lineage on the nexus 9 lte.
This ROM encrypted the device and asking for a password in the TWRP after a BL.
Thank-you so much for this ROM. I really wanted to get a little more lifetime out of my N9 while I wait for something suitable to replace it, and Android 7 just wasn't cutting it any longer when all my other devices have moved on.
FYI, I have the LTE version and so far I've had no issues, except for one shutdown while the tablet was idle overnight, though at first I forgot to wipe the system partition before applying the ROM and it just boot-looped.
I did notice that after using it for about an hour the front near the top or left (depending on how you hold it), was extremely hot - I'd been watching some YouTube videos but before this ROM it had never been as hot as this time.
Still, please keep up the updates for as long as you can.
I just installed the rom and tried if HW video acceleration works. It doesnt.
Youtube plays videos, but quite shaky due to CPU.
Netflix quits when trying to play something with error code 5.8.
Maybe it would be helpful to make a note of it in the first post?

Those 2 things have nothing to do with hw acceleration. Nougat has no issues with hardware acceleration. That's only in Oreo and up.
Edit: my mistake. Late night reading

Finally got around to looking into this. I Extracted RR, disabled forceencrypt, added the blobs, and wholla! Looks like we have hw accel (sort of, that thread you linked said there were still some apps it didn't work in).
All I did to test it was youtube. With the official build (no hw accel), youtube was fine when it was in the foreground. But when it was minimized into the mini window in the corner, it got laggy.
With the new blobs, it all works smoothly (and the rom in general seems a little bit smoother.
@sixohtew I slapped this build together . If you don't want it here or drop another official build with the new blobs and such, I'll take this down.
Here it is: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=962339331459001370
I built it with superr's kitchen so build number will say 'built with rr' or whatever but it's still the 20180423 build.
It worked with the latest official opengapps nano too. Not sure if that's on their end or what but a double win for me
On second thought, it'd be easier just to make a zip to add the blobs rather than have to download that modified rom so now you have 2 options. Either use the modded rom above, or just flash the official one from the OP and then flash this zip after (you'll still need to flash the modified forceencrypt enabler several posts back in this case)

Reboot to recovery
Wipe cache/dalvik and format data
Flash the latest build and GApps (optional)
Reboot
Downloads:

Which one from @LeddaZ did you upgrade from? I'm still running version ...20210117 and I'm in doubt whether I need to upgrade to the last one from leddaz before flashing this one.

I had their final build installed before trying mine. It should be fine without it, but if you're paranoid flash that first.
Very good and snappy ROM. Thank you EmiriUchi.

I second that, @EmiriUchi ! I know it's a lot of work, but if you could do that, it would be great. Of course just rebuilding it here and sharing it with us is already great, thank you again for that.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13 (T), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Okay but does it run Crysis?
I've been running it and everything seems to work ok
Links provided by you are loopy and I don't seem to find any link to the "firmware.zip" you have mentioned in your website. Please write some more details. I'm very excited to flash it
Edit: Found everything.
Hey @Its_Vixano,
Thank you for this release in the first place, I'm really happy with it. Seems to be stable so far after the few days I've been running it.
I have only noticed some minor UX bugs with the recents(/gestures) while using Trebuchet (I haven't experienced it yet after switching to Lawnchair), but a more important issue is that I cannot play audio on a Bluetooth device.
I tested it with several devices, they show up as connected, but they remain silent even on maximum volume.
My guess (from the logs and my experience) is that for some reason the bluetooth audio connection cannot be built up correctly, it seems like it gets interrupted every second or so.
Other than that, do you know if the camera quality is better with the stock MIUI camera app? If yes, maybe it would also be worth to include it in this ROM as well, since others are starting to include it, I figured it wouldn't be too much of a hassle.
I only meant these as suggestions/observations, if you need more information on the bug, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Are you sure is not caused by any system modification or modules flashed via magisk ??
I use everyday a bluetooth pair (AAC, Samsung buds live) without any issues

Thanks for the hint, I tried rebooting to safe mode so that all the 3rd party apps get disabled, and also disabled some system modifications manually (tasker, dev options), but these didn't help unfortunately :/
But now that you mentioned it's working for you, I thought that the reason might be that I flashed your ROM to the V13.0.9.0.SKOEUXM firmware I had installed previously. I will re-test with the V13.0.4.0.SKOMIXM firmware that you recommend in your guide as well, I'll get back with the results.
P.S: I have attached the installed modules list and the error logs.

Thank you for sharing this. I have a few questions. Is there a touch head option in fingerprint? Do banking apps give root warning? Camera app snap? Do you have any gcam you recommend or can we install miui camera?

who knows ?
Not sure where to ask this, I apologize if I'm asking in the wrong place. But how is the lack of the proximity sensor is handled in this ROM?
Do you face any issues when accepting calls or listening to WhatsApp audio messages?
Thanks for sharing your work.
Has anybody managed to get Google wallet working?
Flashed today, so far everything looks very good
Is it possible to get the stock Xiaomi Cam on this rom?
I need makro and ultrawide cam
Thanks a lot for this great Rom
I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE (256gb DG - Global Version). I bootloader unlocked it after a week's usage. It is visible to ADB and Fastboot on Windows 10.
Ran into a bit of a problem following the flashing guide.
Downloaded the following files:
boot.img
192 MB17 days ago
dtbo.img
24 MB6 days ago
lineage-19.1-20220824-UNOFFICIAL-lisa.zip
1.1 GB17 days ago
vendor_boot.img
96 MB17 days ago
From the link. Successfully flashed boot.img, vendor.boot.img, and dtbo.img. It automatically selected _b as a destination on the phone. Attempting a reboot with power + volume up never got me to a recovery screen, only had the Mi logo flash before re-entering fastboot.
I re-read the instructions and there's a place where it is a little unclear as to if recovery.img is to be used for all phones or not despite only being in the ys1 repository. So I downloaded that and flashed it (successfully), it auto selected _a as a destination.
Phone still continues to reboot to fastboot, but now without the Mi logo flashing (guessing I blew away whatever was left of the factory ROM on _a with that last move).
Suggestions on what to do next? I'm stuck at a place where the phone is in fastboot mode and connected to a Windows machine with adb and the proper drivers but I'm guessing has no bootable recovery or ROM so sideloading isn't an option.

First build is already out! Remember, you need to format userdata since we moved from FDE to FBE.
Just had to comment and say, this ROM is absolutely beautiful. The implementation of 19.1 for gemini is just incredible. Little details with the colours, icons, sizing and highlights make it a joy to use! (I suppose some of this might be android 12s 'Material You' but I'm still blown away.
Can already tell the device is running much faster than before (had been on a recent 18.1 build).
This is actually so well polished that I will have to look into getting a new battery. Only reason I'm not using gemini as a primary device. Anybody have a recommendation on where to get a new battery?
Big thanks to bgcngm, absolutely amazing work. It is crazy to think such an old device now can still run the latest lineage!
I had trouble flashing this from twrp even after formatting data partition.
Flashed lineage is recovery and flashed through adb sideloa, everything went smoothly.
Thanks for such a polished build!!
I use this phone with work profile as well.
Will keep posted about it as well
(sorry for my english)
very very thanks!
smooth rom, works flawlessly
same problem here:
when flashing from twrp I got error, but no problems with lineage official recovery
the only little bug I found:
when I turn off the wifi completely, the 'internet button' remains lit
Can't install with twrp... log says error code 1, after format data. that error still showing...
btw i updated twrp version (which is have version support android 12 encryption) and i did again steps and still error code 1 is exist. no luck charm.
And cant install lineage recovery because my pc cant recognize my phone.. guess i have to wait for this 18.1 features... for now.. (sigh)

Hi, I had the same issue. I had also installed the latest twrp (3.7.0_9). What worked for me was using the lineageos recovery instead of twrp. You can find that here:
https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/recovery/gemini/20221016/lineage-19.1-20221016-recovery-gemini.img
Not sure if there is a proper solution to get twrp to work, this is more of a workaround.
Currently, Lineage Recovery must be used.
Inkypen's TWRP supports FBE, but it is an older version and only supports encryption up to Android 11.

Multiuser also working fine!!
Any idea about this "wakelock" in battery usage?
I am now fully convinced that you and the other Mi 5 maintainers are superhuman, @bgcngm. No way is this possible for regular people.

If the device is not encrypted, then wiping userdata doesn't apply, right?
