for me it's fine, what bugs you have?
Any chance to get a stable rom in android 8, or 9, or 10? Do we really need another more unstable system?

Hmm I've tried about 8 different roms this years including superiorOS and the only ones with little issues were crdroid and some gsi.
This developers (if you can call them that) don't fix the firmware, they just add the newest rom version to the newest android version. There is always something ****ty (bluetooth, calls, hotspot, microphone, clipboard, camera, randome timeouts, debug mode, sim...).
Also the last update in the thread of the rom that you mention was about "NOTE1: There maybe some little bugs." So let me doubt it.

Do you even know how to install custom roms? Many people were using Superior and many more as daily drivers, and had no problems with all that. So it's your fault you ****ed something up.
Also, there's always some minor bug that don't affect anything at all. You don't even know what those bugs are, that's how insignificant they are.

It shouldn't be an issue
But I personally always do a format data and the steps as i provided in OP. Even though it's not necessary just to avoid any issues.
Pardon my nitpicking, but where's the source? Neither of the supplied source links contain sources specific to chiron or even Xiaomi msm8998. Thought it's compulsory to at least make available the kernel part.
That aside, thanks for making another choice available. Forwarded this to local users.

Thanks for noticing Andy. Bauuuuu is building the rom and i've just made the ROM available on XDA, we are still in testing phase.
I've asked him the links for the sources so I can add them to the OP.
Im on ABC ROM now, gonna make twrp backup and try this one. Fingers crossed!
Great!I am glad to see more and more ROM for chiron in XDA.Thank you! I wonder that if Dots has customizations. And does it update nightly?
any known issues? proximity?
Hi there, issue found and I have no idea now if my device is broken or this ROM is very laggy...

Yeah you are not the only with animation issues, so it's definitely not an issue with your device.
I've reported this to bauuu (dotOS dev)
Please note that we are still in testing phase so issues like these might occur.
Can I add the app to stretch the entire screen similar omni?
Unfortunately Bauuu stopped developing for DotOS so we will not see any updates to this ROM

Thank you very much! but quote the question kernel
But...is this Superior to Havoc OS?
*snicker*
Jio VOLTE not working
Jio VOLTE does not work on H930DS India. Is there a way to make it work yet? I am using this kernel: "boot_H930_pie_I_7_WIP3_mk4_los16.0_20181118.img".
the smoothest pie rom so far , I tested with mk4_du kernel it is amazingly smooth , I wish DAC and FM radio were also working

Can you please provide more details. My lg is 933 Candaian converted to US988 , so what you did, what are you converted ?
Thanks
Can someone test if audio on WhatsApp calls works fine using loud speaker? Best way to test would be via a Video Call though.
What's the deal with the note saying that only Super GApps are recommended? A bit strange.

Based on his recommendation (thanks) I chose the same Kernel and it worked fine for me as well. I'm also on V30+ US998 converted from LS998. As I was entering the password for the WiFi I was already blown away by that magnifying glass feature when I was scrolling through the password to fix a letter I input incorrectly due to the default keyboard keys being a bit small. Never seen anything like that; such a nice feature.
I noticed the Pixel Launcher doesn't work though, it just keeps crashing. Is this normal or should I get some logs? Is this ROM still maintained? I wanted to try it first because based off very little research I did on Lawnchair it's apparently really good so I wanted to try Pixel first.
As far as customization the available options are decent. I couldn't find any settings for the launcher but I'm unsure if that's normal. There's no app icon for it either. The "CLEAR ALL" button is on the top right of recent apps. I'm unsure if that's default in Android Pie or not but for whatever reason it's there it seems like a bad placement because of the size of the phone (and phones in general these days).
Unfortunately, SELinux is permissive and cts SafetyNet fails. I tried both kernels and made sure USB debugging was off. I don't know what the issue is. Maybe another kernel would work? I don't know; I'm too lazy and I think people already know what the issue is so I'll move on to more ROMs. The ROM was very responsive though, just like stock. I didn't notice any issues with stock ROM performance but I think the animations give you the impression on this ROM that it's faster/smoother. Really well-polished in that aspect IMO. My phone on stock Oreo (20F) scores 182k+ on AnTuTu, 200k+ on dotOS and Superior OS scored 212k+ with the DU kernel. Though, AnTuTu reports the MEM score is abnormal and I would agree lol.

Everything working fine ,good::good:
Pikachu
I try to use this rom but the problems is the phone turns off at 20% and some apps crash, but the rom is almost perfect. Maybe in next actualization will be fine.
Everything's fine aside from magisk. Every time I atempt to flash it my phone goes into bootloop.
how to activate the default navigation bar?
Hey will this work on Moto G XT1063? Please reply thank you
How i uninstall system apps?
@JulioM18: even on rooted device, I would remove it by TWRP-filemanager or -terminal. Search apk-folder in /system/app, /system/priv-app, /system/package/app, /system/package/priv-app. Delete app-data, too, in /data/data.
Just a question
Hello to the world of xda!
I'm pretty much a mega noob when it comes to this sort of thing and I'm just starting to dig my teeth into custom ROMs and things like that. I have a moto g2 (thea) and not a titan model. As far as I know, there is not much difference between them but I can't find an android 10 ROM anywhere out there. Can somebody tell me if it is ok to just install this one or will I have to ask around to see if somebody can help me out here.
(This is my first post on XDA so don't hate on me please!)
thanks for any help anybody can give me.

How is battery performance? i'm curious because charging center of my phone doesn't work at all and if it power off i will get problems to charge it, also i want to know if it uses battery when i power off the screen
Well, the charging center is fixed now, so i will test this rom, i will test performance and battery, i want to ask. Is there some Pie/Oreo stable roms? i saw some android pie roms but bluetooth is not working and AOSPExtended Pie uses more battery (still stable), on oreo roms i tested, bluetooth takes some time to turn on

I have version 3.3.1.0 and I can flash any rom! Have you tried to download rom again? Perhaps the file is corrupted.
I also had the same problem when formatting the internal storage! It was only solved by installing the rom stock
