I've gathered the best cases and acessories available for the ZTE Axon 7, here

Finding a decent tempered glass, i would say was challenging since the Axon isnt so popular yet, but this puppie seems to work ok!
The tempered glass looks promising, can i use it with a case? Or does the edges peels off due to the pressure exerted by the case ?

Thx for the link. I ordered the Skinomi Carbon Fibre set because of this. Dont mind buying that tempered glass, its absolutely terrible.
1. i had the golden one, its nothing like the phone´s natural gold color, it just looks terrible and cheap.
2. The sides peel off very quickly and the edges are not smooth, you cant even put the phone in your pocket without getting stuck on it. I had this even though i applicated the screen perfectly.
3. The protector is only adhesive on the edges, it comes off very easily
4. The phone sometimes does not detect your touch with this tempered "glass"
Good choice on the in ear headphones, but personally i prefer the Bose SoundTrue Ultra
Cant agree with the overear bose headphones though, the AKG K701 are far more superior (and cheaper!), but the cable is a pain in the a**. Huge connector which is almost as big as the phone itself, but the sound is not from this world.
Thanks!

Do you mean the Skinomi or TopAce screen protector?
this is the only screen protector without any reviews, good or bad. Keeping my eye on it.

TopAce. Cant say anything about skinomi yet. im waiting for the shipping
This is absurd that no one can figure out how to cut a piece of rectangular plastic to the correct size.
Do me a favor and upvote and/or comment at the new product request forum at bestskinsever.com (link below). At least we know that Mike can do a bang-up job -- he just needs to know that there is a need:

Quick review of CoverON (google B01IPO3PJK). I'm big fan of hybrid rugged cases and this is perfect. It has small rise on front and little bigger on back. It protects front screen and back camera perfectly. With clear case that you get in box I got vibrations because fingerprint scanned my leg, this case solves it. It makes phone little bigger and good protected. Corners are soft, sides are plastic. Buttons are filled with TPU and are easy to press. Got holes for mics, headphone jack, charger.
Only con that I found that back and sideways are little slippery on flat surface. Hand grip is perfect.
All in all who wants rugged case and don't mind phone little bigger recommended! I bought from Ebay for 13 dollars shipped little expensive but very good case.
Here are pictures (first 3 from ZTE, others from samsung s4)

I picked this case up as well. My only company about it is the silicone around the USB-C port is rather weak and doesn't fit well. I have a Spigen case in a similar style for my m9 and I didn't have this issue. For now it's a nice case but I'll be keeping an eye out for a better fitting case.

I bought one of those and it fell off in only a few hours. The halos are awful, but you can't see since the edges aren't clear. This screen protector is actually worse than others because no adhesive in the middle, so it comes off very easily and creates a halo rainbow effect in the middle of the screen. There was also a noticeable bowing of the screen protector whenever you tapped the screen because there's going to be a gap between the touchscreen and the glass. If you use a case, you may be able to prevent the sharp edges from cutting your fingers, but otherwise don't even bother. My experience with this was awful, I wouldn't wish this screen protector on my worst enemies.
Anyone found a case similar to the included clear TPU case that has more protection around the screen (bigger lip around the screen)?
http://m.ebay.ca/itm/New-Ultra-Thin...617423?varId=411017927173&txnId=1568928808001
I just received the above gray TPU case, and while the matte back is great, it has a smaller lip around the screen than the Axon's included case. When placed face down, the glass screen will actually rest on the surface, not the edges of the case.
I'm using a transparent slim hard case. It gives minimum protection but has a lip around the sides (very small) so the screen is not hitting the surface. I'm very pleased with it, and it ads grip to the device.

Slipgrip Car Mounts
I see that Slip Grip Car mounts have added car and bike mounts for the Axon 7 using various cases. Axon 7 mounts, using Generic Cases. I really like these mounts because they are custom made for a certain phone in a specific case. The ones I have used hold really well, even when off-roading in a Jeep or going over railroad tracks on my bicycle.
It's nice to see that they are supporting some of the A7 cases I have seen mentioned here.
This guy shows off 4 different cases.

This puts me in a difficult spot. I don't want to be the guy who says 'yeah, that should work' because I would feel responsible if it fails. I have been using these on my bicycle for years and I have only had one failure, which was completely my fault. It was a particularly rainy day and I wrapped my phone in a ziplock bag. The extra plastic made the phone bigger and the bag zipper was pressing against the release clasp. I could tell that it wasn't being held as snugly as normal, but I thought it would be good enough. When I hit about 37 MPH going down hill (in hindsight, perhaps I shouldn't have been going that fast on a rainy day), I hit a bump which dislodged my phone. Lucky for me, it was connected by a short charging cable that I had wrapped around the mount. The phone dangled upside down for a while before I even noticed.
The connection to the handlebar is very secure and the connection from the mount to the bracket is as well. The weak spot is the clasp that hooks around the phone in the middle of one side. With a large enough force, the phone can probably overcome the spring strength of the clasp and become dislodged, although I haven't seen this happen under normal circumstances.
I am not willing to say for sure that these will mounts will work flawlessly on a motorcycle, but they might. You should e-mail the guy at slipgripcarmounts.com and asks what he thinks. It seems like he custom-makes each order and so he might be willing to make a custom version that has a larger or longer clasp for you. Another option, for extra insurance, could be to loop a rubber band or piece of string around the base of the mount and connect it to the clasp to hold it closed in extreme conditions (although such a measure would obscure the middle of the display).
I hope this helps.

Ok sounds like it would work but like you say I will email the fellow to see what he thinks. I've been looking at normal mounts and there isn't that many custom made ones. I don't want just a generic one you know? Especially with a $400 dollar investment in it. Thanks for the reply!

Fits pretty snug!
I picked up a generic Chinese temper glass protector off ebay for around $3 shipped and it works okay.
I almost thought they sent me the wrong one because it does not completely cover the black portion of the screen, but does cover most of the actual visible screen portion. As have found out the slight curve of the screen (similar to the Note 4 IMO) makes it difficult for hard screen protectors to work.

Odd that it halos on the top and bottom yet those areas of the screen are flat. Is the adhesive on the glass protector just poorly applied?
Long story short, buy this now! I'll answer questions when I can. Here are some pics of it in the phone in the mean time! Sorry about quality!
How does it feel in the hand? I prefer hybrid cases but if this doesn't have that rubbery, grimy feel that hold onto pocket lint I think I might bite the bullet and get it. It would be my third case do I want to make sure I'll like it before I buy it.
Also is the gray bar near the bottom a kick-stand?

Great photos thanks. Compared to the Axon 7's included clear TPU case, do you believe this Spigen offers superior drop cushioning on the corners? Does the front lip offer greater stand off distance as well?
I'm starting to believe I'll have to run my Axon without screen protection, since every tempered glass protector I've seen has the halo issue...a large front lip on the case would be ideal.
Hey everyone sorry for the late reply! Been very busy.
I'd say it adds about...3 to 5 (5 for margin of error) millimeters to each side, and it does add a little weight. But, honestly the weights nothing really to write home about. If anything it's a sign of quality to me. I also like how much better it feels in hand compared to the stock case, this case is not at all glossy except for the carbon fiber parts and has a matte finish. The power button is textured on this case which is nice because I'm not use to the power button being below the volume buttons so I'm constantly locking my screen when I intend to use the volume. Why they ever decided that for this phone is besides me.
This case fits this phone like a ****ing glove. It's very tight. It's definitely more difficult to take off then the stock case that came with the phone and definitely fits it so much better too. I'd be confident dropping this phone FROM POCKET HEIGHT without anything detrimental happening to the phone. It also has about a...2? Millimeter lip that goes over the top of the phone as well.
I also added the kickstand as someone already mentioned. It did not come with the case.
Are the buttons a littler harder to push than the stock case? I feel like I'm always pushing them without even trying.
The Spigen case feels tight and sturdy so it offers better protection over the clear ones that came with the phone. Also, the Spigen adds bit more weight if you like that, but my pinky gets sore/tired after holding it for minutes. Maybe I am not use to it? These are my initial impressions.
Can we get a belt clip/clam case that works with it? I don't pocket my phones. Thanks!

I purchased the new Spigen case as well and it provides substantially better protection than the included clear case. The front lip is taller and the corners are thicker.
For reference I wear XL gloves and I find the phone still feels good in the hand with the case. I still prefer the bare feel and size of the phone but I'm not willing to risk that. And its significantly more comfortable to hold than my old Note 4 and its relatively thin case. It's also not a lint magnet but that comes at the cost of some grippiness. The included case is tackier.
I could do without the faux carbon fiber - not a fan of anything faux - but it looks better in person than I thought it would. If you can get it for $13 vs full price, I think its well worth it - protective without being completely overwhelming.
One question for me, is it easy to use the fingerprint scanner with this case?
One issue i have with the included case with the axon 7 is that its a pit hard to get my finger inside the cut out to hit the scanner... I have large fingers too

I find the Spigen case works well with the fingerprint sensor. I actually think it's easier to find and scan the sensor with the case guiding my finger, as the border of the case around the sensor has a nice slope towards the scanner.
I got mine a few weeks ago... great case. Feels way nicer than the stock one. I didn't like the rubber texture at first but its grown on me.
What I've noticed:
The indentation for the fingerprint scanner is a bit deep and I'm using the tip of my finger more than I was before. As a result, it didn't pick up every time. Re-scanning my fingers for it fixed the problem
It's become harder to find the NFC chip on the phone. My bluetooth headphones have an NFC tag to aid pairing. It seems to be harder to find the tag now.
Buttons on the side feel way nicer - it offers more resistance than without a case (too little resistance) or the stock one (still not enough)
Too bad i can't buy it at my country... Malaysia. Have to buy from ebay and shipping fees is way too expensive.

This is one of the outstanding features I've found with TPU: slick enough to effortlessly slide in and out of pocket, but slightly tacky/grippy in the hand especially if warm or humid. It's so grippy that I don't have to wrap my fingers around the sides of the phone: I can balance the back of the Axon 7 on my fingertips one handed, which allows me to reach the entire screen area with my thumb.
Maybe I could put some grip tape on the back of the Spigen case.
Honestly guys I received my Axon 7 yesterday with the Spigen case and I hate it. The power button and volume buttons are really sharp therefore it's uncomfortable to hold and because my right index finger is always on it when I hold my phone it hurts. You can see my skin dust on it lol and I'm 17. The charging port is also very sharp. I used the stock case and it's so much more smoother and easier to hold but I do need the spigen case. I might smoothen out the buttons or something.
I just got my Spigen case a few days ago. I had it for my OnePlus 2 and loved it, but this one is even better.
It barely adds width to the phone and feels great. Not slippery, but no rough edges. The power button has a notched texture so it's easy to tell it apart from the volume buttons. The camera/fingerprint/flash have perfectly sized cutouts.
This thing will definitely protect it from a pocket level drop. It's also easy to remove in case you want to swap a microSD/SIM or clean the phone.
By far the best case that will be made for this phone.
I just received this case and it so much better than the one that comes with the axon 7. I had the case that has a kickstand on my axon linked below. Let me tell you the spigen is better for drops it's actually thicker than what I thought. Also it has more lip protection than the kickstand case. This is premium feeling case that offer some nice protection.

Agree with you 100%. I had the kickstand case and there is a world of difference between it and the Spigen case.
Recently I bought a pack with a tempered glass screen protector and a TPU transparent case of the brand "FLOSS".
Here you have link of amazon: http://amzn.eu/1ht83FL
In addition to the screen protector and the case, it also includes a necklace to carry the phone, a memory or others.
· The TPU case fits perfectly to the phone, covering all corners, including the camera (also the space between cameras and flash) and screen, as it protrudes a few millimeters
It's very thin, so it just 'fattens' the phone.
Another point in favor is that it has protectors for the audio jack and the USB connector.
· The screen protector is tempered glass, with a very good touch and oleophobic treatment (anti-stain).
It has a black frame, which is the one that adheres to the screen.
The tactile part has a matrix of points that, in comparison with other protectors that I have tried, are hardly appreciated. This matrix avoids that visual 'stains' are created by the curvature of the crystal, since this remains 'floating' on the screen, without appreciably affecting the tactile response.
To put some snag, I think that size is not perfectly adjusted to the screen. The navigation icons do not match those of the phone and may be 1 millimeter in size around the perimeter to perfectly fit the screen size. On the other hand, it does not affect its use and, if a thicker case is used, it is better that way, since it prevents the case from lifting the protector.
Honestly, that looks really crappy
Hello,
So I got a case from ArmadilloTek.
I got the Vanguard Series Case in Orange for my S10+
Can find link here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MLZW7XQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I took advantage from an earlier post about getting one for free in exchange for feedback.
Packaging:
Looks just like an otterbox package. Not that matters to me.
Packaging did seem a little "loose" a lot of movement on the inside.
Other than that, thats about it for the package.
The case was not put together it was separated by a piece of hard styrofoam.
I like cases that you dont have to take apart first.
Also came with a note that looks like it was hand written and then copied to go out to everyone. Nice little idea.
Pros:
The color matches almost 100% the color on the details page which is nice.
Little groove arrows on the side do make it for easier handling. I do like that design, some may not.
Back of case Design:
The camera cut out is nice, and does not interfere with the camera abilities and does not affect the camera flash either.
The bottom flaps for Headphone and Charging port are easy to open. and they feel very well made that wont break off with just few uses.
Buttons: All the buttons work with normal pressing. No hard press, or squeezing of the phone to make them work.
Front:
The case sits up on the phone, creating space from the screen and any surface that it will be against. So i like this design.
Even with the higher bezels for the case it does not interfere with the top notification bar being pulled down, or activating the edge screen.
The case looks to be very durable, but I do not plan on testing that out on purpose. But, if i do drop it I will report back with my review after.
Case is real easy to clean. I got it pretty dirty and use an alcohol wipe to clean it and it wiped right off.
Works just like normal for wireless charging and wireless power sharing.
Cons:
Does add extra weight to the device
Kickstand feels a little flimsy, thinking prolonged use could break it, also, it could have been a rotating one with a ring style since alot of companies are adding those now. That would make for easier use. (may only be a con for me)
Corners are kind of Squared, not rounded, so I feel it gets caught a little in the pocket. Works well in jeans, but gyms clothes and dress pants it gets caught up in them.
Overall I would rate this easy at 4.5* out of 5*
If you have one, or had one, or are looking to get one drop a comment here and lets chat about it.

Looks similar to my SupCase (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07N4LKB3F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which is a massive cover but offers a pretty good protection.
I don't have a wireless charger (I only charge vua USB cable) but I couldn't charge my Gear S3 with Wireless PowerShare. Removing the cover the watch can be correctly charged.
Someone had similar issues ?
Thanks

Very good for curved screen full body protectors, the way you lay the frame down overtop first then snap the case in.
It is very difficult to use the edge panels and One Hand Operation+ with this case. The Supcase UB Pro has less of a side lip, which makes it easier to swipe the curved edges and therefore use these features. FYI.

I havent had any issues with the edge screen.
I do however have the edge panel slider at full thickness, I wonder if that plays a big part of it.

If you mean a "tempered glass" protector, they omit it because standard ones block the fingerprint reader. One company made a tempered glass screen protector that purportedly works with the fingerprint reader. Unfortunately, they have a patent and it cost around/above $50.

I check app log, seems it updated about a week ago.
There was a function that the edge panel could become thicker, not just longer.
That function is no longer there.
I do notice now that my panel is much smaller than it was previously, actually making it harder to activate the edge panel.
Hmmm, weird.

I love my Galaxy Z Fold 4, but was disappointed once I found out that there are not many cases available for it. And the ones that are typically suck. I tried cases from Spigen, VRS Designs, SUPcase, Zagg and multiple others from Amazon. EVERY SINGLE ONE was terrible quality. The hinge protectors were clunky and poorly designed. These other cases HEAVILY relied on the adhesive strips to hold the flimsy case onto the phone. Several of the rugged cases included built-in screen protectors, which were terrible. I dreamt of a case that would provide 360 degree protection, a sturdy kickstand, a practical S-Pen holder and the ability to use a tempered glass screen protector. When I thought all hope was lost, CaseBorne provided my dream case.
The Vanguard Series Z Fold 4 case by CaseBorne is INCREDIBLE. Before I go any further, this case is a tank. And tank's are big. If you own a Z Fold 4, you know that it is already a thick phone. And this case will make it even thicker. But if you own a Z Fold 4, then you're most likely okay with that. If you weren't, you wouldn't use a foldable.
Now for the Pro's:
- Rugged and durable case design
- The cover screen is protected by a raised lip, but it doesn't interfere with typing. Even with my big sausage fingers.
- The back of the phone provides a nice raised lip around the camera, and a really nice, sturdy kickstand.
- The kickstand is positioned perfectly on the back, and the phone can be propped up in any orientation (folded and unfolded).
- 2 tempered glass screen protectors are included with the case.
- The hinge protection is amazing. Some very intelligent engineering went into making this hinge cover. Yes, it's claim-to-fame is that it doesn't cover the front screen when the device is unfolded. But I really appreciate the quality of it the most. Something about the design and quality of the hinge cover is just incredible. When unfolding the device, it is so smooth and doesn't feel clunky and cheap like other rugged cases.
-The hinge cover includes an awesome hidden compartment for your S-Pen. Personally, it's my favorite implementation of an S-Pen holder for the Z Fold 4. It's hidden and out of the way, but also very accessible when I need to use my S-Pen.
- Karl, the founder of CaseBorne, is a really nice guy and is very personable. And CaseBorne is a small business, so it's great to support them!
Con's (There aren't many):
- The screen protectors are slightly too big. The edges of the protector go right to the edges of the front cover. Unfortunately, after trying to apply the screen protector perfectly several times, I was unsuccessful. As of now, the right edge of my screen protector is slightly lifted off of the cover screen. But it's something I'm willing to tolerate.
- Color selection. I selected the all black case. And it looks great; however, I would like to see some other color options in the next version. Currently, CaseBorne offers black, a light orange, and purple. I would really like to see a dark orange/copper or an olive green.
- When the device is unfolded, the hinge cover acts as a grip for your fingers. However, due to the design of the hinge protector, it doesn't stay completely stationary. There is some slight movement in the hinge cover. I would like to see this somehow made to not move when the device is unfolded. But let me be clear, it doesn't feel cheap, just kinda 'springy'.
Overall, this is an incredible case, and I suggest anyone who owns a Z Fold 4 to check it out.
Caseborne Case Quick Review -
Caseborne Case(without SPen) by ArmadilloTek for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
I was searching for a phone case that could maximise protection and I stumbled upon Caseborn by ArmadilloTek . At first glance, the prices were the same as other case manufacturers. The Caseborn case seemed to be more protective than other cases.
In the case box, you can find 2 screen protectors for the external screen, 2 wipes, and some spare two-sided scotch. The case itself is very good, it has great protection all round the phone including the camera and the hinge. It also comes with a horizontal stand which lets you watch videos, play games etc with ease. However, the size of the case overlaps the size of the phone itself but this is expected if it offers maximum protection.
PRO'S:
- Good quality plastic of the case
- Includes hinge protection
- Easy to hold the phone; there is no awkwardness when holding it
- Easily foldable
- The inside of the case has padding so the phone can't get scratched
CON'S:
- It's big for someone with small hands which could cause issues
- Phone case seems bigger than the phone
Overall, the phone case is a very solid build. It has brilliant protection. The phone case has great potential in the market and can definitely be a competitor with other case brands. Time will tell how the case is in use.

Some may say this case is "MASSIVE", and they're not wrong. However, it's no bigger than any other brand's cases with a hinge protector and pen holder. If you want a fully protective case that can hold the spen and keep your warranty alive because _Samsung_, you basically need something this tanky.
That said, there are some amazing features of the Caseborne over some of the competitors. Just as a reference, I have 2 Samsung cases (Standing with S-Pen, and Slim standing case), a Spigen case with the pen holder on the right side, and a bunch of generic cases with and without the hinge cover. What sets the Caseborne apart are
The one-piece design: Caseborne comes with stickers inside just like the Samsungs, but they don’t seem necessary. The case hugs the phone incredibly well and will not fly off, unlike the Samsungs. Since it’s a single piece, you don’t need to worry about the hinge part scratching up other parts of the case or phone when unfolding it.
Screen protectors: The included front screen glass protectors are good quality, and much better than the dot matrix screen protectors found on the generic ali express cases. And also much better than some of the other $80+ cases that doesn’t even come with a screen protector. The case and the screen protector are an EXACT fit, so if you have a different aftermarket TGSP like me, you will need to remove it before installing it.
Cutouts: This is one of the few cases that actually cover the volume rocker while still allowing for easy fp unlock. Most other cases do not cover a good half of the power/volume rocker side, and some of the other cases that do cover extend out too far to be able to unlock the phone easily. I have not had any issues unlocking my phone with this case.
Unfortunately, it’s not perfect:
The kickstand feels cheap. It works well enough, but the plastic action just doesn’t feel good. Something like ESR. TORRAS, or Spigen’s kickstands (for other phones, not the Fold4) would go a long way to making this case feel much more premium
The actual volume rocker buttons feel a bit too sharp and protrude a bit too far.
