Stock rom, random reboots - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi, recently purchased used Mi A2 Lite, and the phone randomly reboots. I flashed multiple stock rom, as well as custom roms. Nothing helps. Could someone give me a tip on how to solve/debug this? I tried flashing stock persistent partition, but wifi wasn't working, not sure if the reboots happened, but phone without wifi kinda defeats the purpose. Since then I flashed backed up persistent partition and wifi is back, but reboots still happen. Any help greatly appreciated

Cell connection dropping every few min...

Hello everyone, just got a quick question to ask.
I was running CM10 stable and had a problem with my SD card a while back (which I never figured out), so I decided to preform a clean wipe of CM10.0 and a stock rom as a troubleshooting method.
I finally stuck back with CM10.0 and I've been rocking that install for some time, but have a problem. Every fifteen minutes or so the phone's cell connection would drop completely then pick back up a min or so later. It's very temperamental and I have no idea what was causing it. It never inhibited the utility of the phone, so I just dealt with it.
Today I flashed a clean install of Paranoid Android, gs2usr's unofficial version, and it still has the same issue.
I've flash different modems and the issue still remains, but I have no idea where to troubleshoot beyond that.
Any ideas guys?
|EDIT| Solution was taking it back to stock by flashing with Odin then re-rooting and flashing CM10 stable. No issues so far!

Stock ND8 S3 Constantly Rebooting

So I've recently used ODIN to restore the stock ND8 factory image on my S3 and now it is constantly crashing and then rebooting and I'm not sure the reason. I don't have an issue on a stock rooted rom, or another custom rom just the factory image itself. I do not have an SD card in my phone as I know sometimes they cause issues. The phone is booting up and if I'm fast enough and I keep doing something on it, sometimes it will keep working until I stop using it and sometimes it just crashes anyways and reboots.
If anyone has any other solutions to try or knows how to fix this issue I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Weird Stutter/Lag on lolipop

Okay so, first off, I'm not much of a noob in flashing ROMS and tools, I've had a bit of experience with a Samsung Infuse before, now I got this Note 2 and TouchWiz pissed me off, of course, now I need a lolipop ROM, I used ODIN to root and install TWRP recovery, also flashed a 5.1.1 "RESSURECTION" ROM, tried CM12 too, now the thing is, I'm getting a weird lag, this lag occurs randomly, lasts 2-3 seconds, followed up with a weird vibration, yes the vibrator vibrates the fone whenever this lag occurs... Now I tried a lot of stuff, except unlocking the bootloader because I'm not sure if it'll fix it or not, also after a while I noticed that it didn't detect my SIM card, could it be that my phone is refurbished? Everything else works ok but the lag makes it unusable.. The lag occurs on both CM12 and the other ROM so I don't think it's because of the ROM.. I'll revert to stock Kitkat using ODIN, but I really need to fix this. I tried Google for solutions but I can't seem to find anyone else having the same problem... So please help me out here mates

Installing ROM kills data?

Hello, all. Long time Android user here, no stranger to rooting, ROMing, all that good stuff. I ran into sort of a weird issue that just started to happen quite consistently over the past few days. It all started when I tried to flash the new XtraSmooth Factory Image ROM when it went up. Everything went smooth, except, for some reason, it kills my data connection. FYI, I'm on Sprint, but I don't think that has anything to do with the issue. But it gets weirder. Even if I try to flash a different ROM, a ROM where I had data working before, data is still mucked. No connection whatsoever. If I try to restore a nandroid backup, even weirder things happen. Like for instance, the restoration process stopping at 20-25% and automatically rebooting back into Android (Which just happened an hour ago), or the backup going into a bootloop. Only solution to these problems are going back to stock and re-rooting everything all over again. It's really weird. Am I alone with this issue? Thanks for any help.
Yes your alone sadly. Restore to stock and root again/unlock bootloader, etc

Not so bricked P2...

I just experienced a strange issue with my P2, and I'd like to hear some opinions/solutions.
I've been running the deodexed S244 ROM for a while now (unlocked bootloader, TWRP, root), no problems. However, AEX 4.6 (Nougat) intrigued me, so I decided to try it and flashed it. I made a TWRP backup of the previous ROM.
After using AEX for a while, concluding I'd rather stick to the deodexed ROM, I rebooted to recovery and restored the backup. Upon restarting, only a black screen awaited. Nothing else, as if it had powered off. Rebooting makes no difference.
I tried restoring the backup twice more, getting the same result: black screen.
Then I tried flashing the deodexed 244 over itself, and got the black screen with the blue led issue!
After 2 hours battling, I gave up and tried restoring AEX's backup (yes, I made one too, in case I ever wanted to go back), and it's working fine!
So how can I go back to stock? Or deodexed stock? I have to flash the stock ROM through fastboot? Any ideas what causes this?
Ok, I admit the information I presented was a bit unclear, and that's because it was unclear to me as well...
After a huge lot of trial and error, I ended up flashing the boot.img from the deodexed 244, which solved the issue. I guess there was some error along the way, and restoring it helped.
So problem solved
