Galaxy active alarm clock - Samsung Galaxy Watch

Hi to all, i have a question..
i have a samsung s20 and galaxy active (first version), it's possible to set an alarm clock on smartphone and turn off with watch (i don't find any option to do that)???
I think it's a scandal that with a 150$ smartwatch and a top phone like s20 i can't do a basic function that i can do with a 15$ smartband (with my other phone i can do that.. huawei mate 20 and honor band 5...).
thanks for all

GT and Health update

today ireceived update
Huawei health 9.0.4.6700
watch gt 1.0.7.36
do not know what is improved
Can you share this apk?
Actually I search around on Internet. I own casino f20, watch 2, galaxy fit 2. Now I bought watch gt. The reason I bought the gt. I need long battery life and receive notification. A lot of people don't understand the purpose of gt...

Which watch?

Im completely new to Android having just ditched my company-supplied iPhone and bought an A50 (love it by the way!)
Are there any watches compatible with this phone that I can get notifications etc? I am not sure what specifications I need to check that the A50 has. The Samsung web site doesnt list the A50 as being compatible with Galaxy watch so should I just be looking at bluetooth compatibility.
Thanks for any pointers.
Yes you can use galaxy smartwatch with A50
I am using Galaxy Watch with A50. TOTAL DISASTER ! Watch and phone are disconnecting/ connecting frequently. Had no problems with same GW and Lenovo P2.
Samsung support completely useless as usual.
I have a Gear Fit2 Pro that I used with limitations paired to an iPhone but the full feature set works flawlessly with the A50 including quick replies, clearing notifications, complete message content and caller ID on every call.
It doesn't ever disconnect in the same room but I found the range pretty limited compared to the iPhone, so I assume Bluetooth range is more of an A50 issue.
After last firmware update for Galaxy A50 and firmware update for Galaxy Watch - both work perfectly in pair.

From Z3 Tablet Compact to the Mate 20x..anyone done it?

Hello!
So I love BIG phones...which you probably guessed since I use the Z3 Tablet Compact as my phone.
Still I would like to have some newer tech on my phone, like MUCH better camera than the very bad ones on my Z3. No my phone is not my main camera but its nice to have something better. Also with built in flash (for flashlight usage). Not to mention more internal space and OLED screen.
Sadly there are no phones that can replace my Z3 and make me 100% happy since these days all phones have what I like to call the hotdog form factor.
My ideal phone would be like my old Mediapad X2 format and size with smaller bezels and newer hardware...but for now, this skinny form factor trend continues so looks like the best I could do for now is the 7.2" Mate 20x.
Has anyone gone from a Z3 to the Mate 20x?
I will be using it with AT&T and going for the L29 version. Likely will add some Squaretrade warranty when buying from Amazon.
Some recent feedback from the phone owners would be nice. One thing that got me holding back (aside from still hoping someone bringing a big 16:9 or 16:10 phone) is the fact that there is a Huawei 30...so I was wondering if a 30x is not too far off from being announced.
Thanks!
I still miss my old zenfone 3 ultra, but only phone who was getting close to it is my m20x... But really dont like 19:9... Miss the 16:9 a lot.

Oh I remember considering the zeonfone although dont recall why I didnt get one in the end. So you can imagine, coming from even bigger phones like the Mediapad X2 and the Z3 Tablet Compact...going to a smaller (thanks to the lame aspect ratio) phone is worrying me.
Guess I will just get one and test drive it before I sell my Z3
Looking at Z3 tablet form factor, ideal upgrade for you would be Mediapad M5 8. https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9092&idPhone2=6633
Maybe M6 is also coming soon.
Also consider this for taking calls on the go. https://consumer.huawei.com/sg/wearables/talkband-b5/
I have had various large phablets and tablets that I used as a phone as well, such as the Dell Streak (remember that one!), Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, Huawei MediaPad X1, X2, M2, M3, M5 8.4, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Recently I switched from my MediaPad M5 8.4 LTE to, briefly a Samsung Galaxy Note9, and now a Huawei Mate 20X.
The main reasons were that the M5 was getting slow and had this annoying Huawei memory cleanup app that I could not get rid off, it did not have dual SIM plus sufficient storage and it was just not comfortable to use as a camera and the camera sucks as well.
I still have the M5 but ever since I got the 20X i do not use the M5 anymore, not even at home on the couch.
I would like to have root but on the other hand I don't really miss much without it. I use Nova Launcher with different themes and I can change fonts with an app from Google Play. And I save a lot of time by not having to mess with custom ROM's etc.
The battery life of the 20X is awesome and it fits my hands fine, although I prefer it would be lighter.
And I wish they would offer the international version with 256GB as well.
I was watching movies on my Mediapad M3 8.4. I am selling it and getting the Mate 20 X.
Is anyone switching from a bigger tablet to a Mate 20 X and or prefer watching movies on Mate 20 X? Is it big enough to watch streaming content?

I too had pretty much same devices as you. starting from dell streak( it was one of a kind in looks in those days), galaxy note 1, mega 6.3, mediapad x1, x2, m3, xiaomi mix, honor note 10, mate 20x.
with mediapad x2, i always wished it to have lesser non screen area. i think 20x fits screen and size part pretty well.

honor magic watch 2 or Huawei watch GT2 ?

Hi all,
i want to buy a smart watch. Can someone tell me what is the difference between honor magic watch 2 and Huawei watch 2.
i know that the design is different , but what about functionality and battery life? is the Huawei watch 2 worth the extra 40$ ?
Also there is a support for Hebrew language in both of them( notifications etc.)?
Hi,
No difference, 40 dollars less.
I like the design of honor more: it's very very beautifull.
Hebrew language is supported on GT2, I guess also on Magic Watch 2.
The Honor uses flat glass while the huawei uses glass with the edges having a larger curve. I prefer the feel of the huawei
The hardware and software of both smartwatches r the same..in fact honor belongs to huawie ..also..to activate honor u need to install to your phone the huawie HEALTH app and the last huawie SERVICES.....,!

Galaxy Watch (not Active!!) 2 with blood pressure

Hi all.
I menaged to download the app: My Bp Lab. But everytime i launch it it says it can't find the active watch.
So my question is: is there a method to measure Blood Pressure with the Galaxy Watch 2? In any non conventional modes? Or do i have to wait until MR Samsung decides to free it up for the other watches that are not Active?
Or did i buy the wrong Watch? The sensors might be the same, as i read.

Maybe heat.. or maybe I am drunken or maybe I am not smart enough...
Can you give simple Model Name?
Example:
SM-R800 is IMHO device of Galaxy Watch family...
Because I have NO idea what you mean with Galaxy Watch 2?
Best Regards
There is no such watch as galaxy watch 2...
There newest ones are the galaxy watch, galaxy ative 1 and 2 and finally galaxy watch 3
The exact model is:
Galaxy Watch SM-R805F
Sorry for that guys.
This model is just the "galaxy watch" (LTE). She's not equipped to measure blood pressure.
Sure it is equipped, it is only not ompatible. So i was asking if there is a way to make the app compatible. It has the same Sensors as the Active Watch.
This site is the prove for what i sayed.
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/...the-galaxy-watch-and-the-galaxy-watch-active/
The two clocks are identicall in what sensors belong. So it is only an App feature (as the mylab is still in test phase. )
it seems to me that the galaxy active is not equipped with the blood pressure sensor (only the galaxy active 2 is equipped)
SM-R500 Galaxy Watch Active 1 work with Samsung Health Monitor and Blood Pressure. :good:
Best Regards
@adfree, could you post a screenshot ?
Thx
Hi everyone I have the R815F version, and I think this feature will only come in a few months with the arrival of Tizen 4.0.0.8, not before I think. And seeing that this watch has never had a correct follow-up, I think there is a risk of never having it.
