So please senior developers, can anyone develop a custom rom like CM or PA for xolo q1010i?
I have been searching where to port the kernel from G870A (S5 Active AT&T) to the G870D (S5 Active DOCOMO), but did not find the right tutorial. whereas the same has the Snapdragon 801 Chipset
I want to port LineageOS ROM from G870A to G870D, its just need to port the kernel i think. but i can't find the right tutorial
G870D is running Marshmallow stock ROM and that Lineage OS is running on Oreo

I do not really understand why there is only very few treble rom certified compatible with kirin chipset, while all treble compatible phones are supposed to have the ability to run an unique and same rom. Can someone tell me if I can install ANY treble rom on my Huawei mate SE.
(Sorry if it's not the best place to post this)
I was running openkirin Omnirom alpha 4 for a while. yesterday I decided to upgrade my firmware, I was running build 330. After the upgrade(now running build 361) I can not get any of the treble roms to run. I have tried Phhusson's and most of the openkirin stuff. Not sure what build you are running on your Mate SE, but yes, you can install any of the treble roms as long as your bootloader is unlocked
So I ported CrDroid (A10) rom which is unofficially made for j5 so I decided to Port this rom to o7prolte.
After porting and flashing device got bootloop but i can boot to recovery and in download mode so I can unbrick my o7prolte by flashing rom that is made for o7prolte. I also ported boot.img. Edited lines in fstab.qcom,uneventd.rc,uneventd.qcom.rc,init.rc. Edited lines in build.prop. Also in updater-script. But nothing works. So I need help from developers to Port A10 rom for o7prolte.
u need to port a10 kernel
I'm trying to understand how Samsung manages the kernel, the first question that arises is why my kernel version is 5.10.66, shouldn't it follow the corresponding Linux LTS branch? I tried to download the source code of the s22 kernel that samsung makes available and although they are from the october build looking at the code there is some missing patches that the official android kernel branches patched months earlier. could someone help me clarify, I thought that with the advent of GKI (generic kernel image) Samsung used an official kernel image, maybe just adding some proprietary drivers
