I have bought a Nexdock Touch a very interesting lapdock with Touchscreen and currently i am using Xiaomi Mi Mix3, unfortunately Xiaomi usually doesn't support HDMI over USB-C or MHL.
However i saw some reports over possible change with desktop mode in Android 11, there were so betá firmware fot that. Does anyone got a pre production model of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro to test if this can be a DEX alternative?
I don't wanna turn to Samsung and don't want the hassle to get google on the Huawei's.

HDMI over USB-C doesn't work of the Mi10T Pro running Android 10, MIUI 12. Tested on the unit a few time and several display but no luck
I also bought the it and try it... Guess external monitors isn't support it yet..not sure if this is a hardware limitation or a firmware.

have a question. Does the MI6 have a MHL connection function? I have a kenwood ddx 5016dab which supports mhl to mirroring the display of a smartphone. So....what do ya know?
If not, does any actually smartphone of xiaomi supports mhl? without the mi4, mean only above mi5. (MI5s + Plus, MI MIX etc. )

I cannot find any evidence of Mi6 supporting MHL. For what it is worth, my Mi5 did not...
So I recently got an DAC dongle (Hidizs Sonata HD 2) and I can't seem to connect it on my realme X2.
I turned on OTG Connection in additional settings. Even tried doing usb debugging etc. But did not work. It sometimes recognized thou.
PS I already did patch the firmware on my hidizs and I also tried using it on samsung galaxy note 9 (it works flawlessly)

I have the chine version of X2 (1991) and I was planning to buy that dac.
Did you find any solution?
What model of X2 do you have?

I have the global version.
I'm not sure if it's a software problem or hardware problem. Sometimes my phone can recognized it but it can be easily disconnected if you move the dac.

I have been looking for a splitter adapter for my OP 9 Pro. So far out of 3 different adapters i have bought, none of them worked. Even when i turned OTA Storage ON. Does anybody know any that works with OP 9 Pro so i can charge and use headphones at once please?
I'll need to test the one I used on my 7 Pro. I bought a streaming adapter for my BMW that uses the MOST bus so I tossed the splitters on a drawer.

Just letting you know, I had the same issue but they appear to work properly on custom roms such as lineageos and crdroid

Hi, could anyone give me any tips on getting a USB DAC to work on 9 pro? The model I were trying to get to work was
Astell & Kern USB-C Dual DAC cable.I tried dev options, on the go settings, etc . It would not power on no matter what I tried so far on the 9 pro.
I'm on the last oxygen 10.10 Android eleven version with custom kernel.
I tried plugging it into the pinephone pro so far and it lit right up. Just checked on 8 pro and is working. Also when I plug the pixel DAC in, it works. Any advice is appreciated, thank you. And I almost am thinking it will not work on 9 pro although I don't want to have to accept it.
I'm using the fiio btr5 and that is working without any issues - so maybe your dac is not compatible with the oneplus 9 pro?

Thanks, what's weird is I plugged it into OnePlus 8 pro and it instantly recognized it. I'm gonna reset and go from there.
Edit-My OnePlus 8 pro is on 9.9; I'm kind of scared to update since I checked today and is working fine.
Unfortunately after wiping and flashing nameless on 9 pro, it's still not working, with or without custom kernel. Thanks, any suggestions welcome.
I used to be able to do this on my samsung and i believe on my xiaomi mii 11.
not on android 12 (at least on my W10, with v12.0.15.3)
maybe on android 13 and/or with new originOS 3
Had that feature on my Huawei mate 10 and loved it
