Hi, i want to know should i buy the active watch 2 or not.I want to buy it for the ECG,BP,VO2 max and SPo2 feature.
are these features availabe on active 2 in india.
also i read somewhere that these features will work only with samsung phones?

Thanks for the input i saw but for once wanted to be sure if anyone in india jas tried sideloading it and it worked and i guess what's going to happen when the apps are made officially available in India which at present seems unlikely

I got new active 2 during bbd sale. I have Galaxy phone. After updating watch to 5.5.0.1, I just side loaded samsung monitor app from one of the youtube videos and BP ECG works. (No spo2)

yep, it works just fine. Fun times.
ok, so still think my sony smartwatch 2 is much more useful at the present in terms of giving me useful notifications, and for some reason i only have like 6 apps available at the samsung store (probably b/c I'm using the note 10.1 international version not the USA Note 3). Still, i have the best of both worlds. My Sony watch for when running around with my xperia z1, and my galaxy gear watch which is wonderful somply for making and taking calls when paried with my note 10.1.
give us some more useful apps please samsung... would love a philips hue app for my watch.

The device has the potential but Samsung security and exynos processor are making it hard to be on full loose. But, as is evident from the history of other Samsung devices with exynos like j7 prime and many others, and also pretty good specs, we can expect a good number of developers to grab this one.

Still, all of this depends on how many people will go with redmi note 7 pro. I hope people realize that this time (and probably for the first time), Samsung is providing a better option than xiaomi at a little higher price.

Yes Brother.. hope they will push new update for A50.
I would like to start development on Galaxy A50. Currently waiting for open source kernel, I recently requested Samsung to release source code lets see. Need some testers maybe who can take risk of unlocking bootloader and installing custom ROMs, recoveries, kernels.
I am happy with camera, gaming particularly pubg(made for pubg) and display.
But fingerprint sensor needs lot of work.
They already gave one update for fp.

last time I've bought around 6 months ago, it was working then. Currently I have S10+ without root so I'm not sure if it's still working but I suppose it is.

Oh sorry guys was at work when I saw the reply and forgot to reply once I was home. I've since reset my watch so will have to set it up again as it's a workaround mainly dealing with Samsung pay on the watch by downgrading aswell as moving busy box to external SD card from xbin folder. I also hid Samsung services from magisk and hid magisk manager itself running v19.2 but think it worked without having to do that step for me. I can't use it as spay doesn't support my bank or credit cards yet but I'll try and get it working again and post back in the next 1-3 days.

it's annoying that some of the features in watch 3 are not available in Germany for at least next 6 months like BP and ECG.
Thus, is it possible to change the watch to US version to make it work?
There are some threads about changing CSC, but none as far as I could find about watch 3...

Many thanks! yes, I said, it's german version, not US version. but the new features are already unlocked in US, therefore wanted to change. But understood that there seems to be no way currently...

hello all, sure many are familar with the controversy that surrounds the galaxy watch 3, with the aim of attaining a working EKG, BP etc health functions, Im interested in knowing if anyone has successfully bought or used the korean model outside korea? my aim is to purchase a device from Korea and import it to the UK for working in the UK on a UK phone. The shorter way with APK as TPK Installer seems work only with Samsung Phones...
Because written by Samsung... only TPK replaced with BP / ECG
You can replace TPK inside this APK for other projects... Resign APK...
Works nice in GW3 LTE SWITZERLAND
the watch I bought was faulty. I have asked for a. replacement. should know shortly. in the interim I have also experimented a lot with the GWA2 and have learnt installation with any other phone, via PC, right tpks and apks to match. I should be able to revert with my UK GW3 loading by saturday.
ok, so after 2 days of fidgiting, I have got the UK model fully working. So the procedure followed was :
installing tpks via pc, and signing them after editing the manifest file. sounds complicated, but not that bad. GOT my new GW3 working.
