Galaxy A70 | Battery status says 0%, rebooting, no charging. - Samsung Galaxy A70 Questions & Answers

Hi Folks,
My Galaxy A70 had a problem with the SIM-Card not reading. So i decided to update my firmware and after the firmware upgrade the problems started coming.
- Battery status says 0%
- Battery not charging
- Phone keeps rebooting
i Tried:
Diffrent software roms from samsung Rom but didn't solve anything.
Tried charging port board and battery on a diffrent motherboard, both working.
Now also when i try to flash a new rom to the phone i get this message: SW REV CHECK FAIL : [ABL]FUSED 5 > BINARY 4
Hopefully someone can help me out with this problem to get the phone back to work.

Install smart switch on pc
Maybe the emergency phone rescue can help you with getting the correct firmware to flash.
This binary fuse error makes me Beleive you are trying to flash older version of firmware. Once bootloader is upgraded, you can't flash lower firmware version.
Moreover this battery not charging after firmware upgrade means that you have faulty charging board.
Previously it was related to software bug in android 10 update which Samsung fixed, but for some it was a hardware bug thsr required logic board change through warrenty reclaiming

I've already tried replacing the charging board, wich didn't help at all. The charging board is working in a diffrent phone (motherboard)
The phone doesn't reboot when i want to flash a rom via odin. But when the phone actually boots it keeps rebooting... So i think its impossible to do the emergency rescue via smart switch?

Try to explain better! Do you have installed custom recovery?
no i installed a modified multi language rom from "needroom" did every as told and everything looked fine during the upgrade and when i was finished i got the green circle that says it was ok but when started it up it went in to boot loop and said "TOOL DL image fail!" but after a while its totally dead.,when i try now it wont load in any software into the phone ,just starts up the purple pre preparation on the SP flash tool but when i connect the phone it stops .cant get it into recovery mode or anything, just completely dead. i would rely be thankful for some advice her
Maybe the package you've tried to install is corrupted.
most likely, but is there anything to do with it or is it over for it.

Most likely your device is unusable. Without any recovery, I dont think you will be able to do anything. I am sorry.

Dear devs, help me out on UNBRICKING LENOVO S850:
Initial Problem was: AFTER TURNING PHONE ON (NORMAL BOOT UP) IT GOT STUCK ON BOOT LOGO.
Very first tried solution: PRESSING BOTH VOL.+POWER PHONE WENT IN LENOVO RECOVERY MODE. THEN I TRIED TO FUSE FORMAT BUT IT FAILED TO FORMAT. PROBLEM REMAINED SAME.
Second Tried Solution: DOWNLOADED OFFICIAL STOCK ROM (A. Lenovo_S850_VIBEUI_V1.5_1419_2_ST_S850_4.4.2 B.Lenovo_S850_ROW_S211_140923 C. Lenovo_S850_ROW_S207_140814. D. Lenovo S850 official firmware flash file) + ALL AVAILABLE SP FLASH TOOLS + USB VCOM DRIVER FOR MEDIATEK AND INSTALLED DRIVERS.
USING ABOVE FILES I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD ALL ROMS WITH DIFFERENT SP FLASH TOOLS VERSIONS BUT ALL THE TIME RED BAR CAME TO 100% THEN BAR STUCK ON 0% FOLLOWED BY ERROR "SDMMC WRITE FAIL".
THEN I TRIED UPGRADING FIRMWARE, SAME AGAIN IT GAVE ERROR "FORMAT FAILED"
THEN I TRIED TO FORMAT USING FLAH TOOL (ALL VERSIONS) AGAIN IT GAVE SAME ERROR "FORMAT FAILED"

Died during firmware update

Hi,
My LG G3 died during the night when a firmware update started and the battery was low.
Now the phone isn't booting. It gets stuck at the LG logo.
I can put the phone into download mode but not much else. It it's recognized by any PC I've plugged it into.
The main issue here is that I need to recover some very important data that hasn't been backed up (ye I know stupid). I've searched and searched but all I get are some iffy maybes mostly regarding some Samsung phones so.
You can try a using a linux os on pc sometime it can still pick up ure drives
Thanks I'll try.
Unfortunately I don't use Linux or know anyone that does outside of work so it will take a while.
In the meantime if anyone else has suggestions I'm all ears!
Now r u rooted with twrp
The phone is 100% stock
Just flash stock kdz in a normal mode not cse flash but you have to select exact firmware you had ....so you dont loose any data...hope it helps

How would I even know what exact firmware I had?
The phone actually booted up when started into download mode and gave the 'firmware update' screen but just stuck at 0%
Ok...try to flash what firmaware version you had before software update....i think ota not installed properly...if it doesn't work try to flash latest firmware for your phone...means which version coming as ota for your phone....also remember for the first time it's should be take some time to start.if both not working you have to do a cse flash ?...but if you sacrifice your data....factory reset is a simple option....you don't have flash anything just search in forum how to hard reset and your problem solve, think so ?

LG G3 stopped working after installing recovery

Today I was trying to install a custom rom, but I messed it up and had to reset it to stock rom.
After that I reseted it back to stock rom, I rooted my phone with Kingroot and used this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=b007.autorecd855 to install recovery. After that I powered off my phone and now it won't turn on. Already removed battery a plenty of times, when putting in the charger nothing happens, pc won't see it also.
The only moment when my phone lights up is when I remove my battery and put it in the charger, then it basically says that it's charging but with no battery in it. Also when removing the battery and connecting to my pc it only sees it as a unrecognizable device.
Suggestions on what I can do? IF not, poor me, gonna buy a new smartphone then.
Btw, I still have some garanty. Maybe it's worth sending it to the support services.

You used wrong autorec install LP recovery to MM. Download MM version autorec from LG G3 Xda forum. Try flash back to stock or something else. Instructions are in LG G3 Xda forum if you search more. Sorry.

Hmm, I was really sure that I used the right one.
Anyway, how can I flash it again if I can't even get the lg logo to show, neither get him in download mode or that my pc recognises him?

If you have no access to any recovery mode, Fastboot or download mode.then use the method of Qualcomm 9008.btw your warranty is void because you have rooted device and messed with it.

I also had same issue and I'm also sure that I used the correct Autorec version.
I sent the phone to LG because the warranty is still valid.
I know how to fix this

i remember after 1 day of having this phone this happened this was likely caused by having the latest boot loader i remember this because i fresh installed the marshmallow kdz after that i installed autorec mm it told me to restart and my phone died there, however after spending 8 hours straight i found a solution the smart boot diagnostics tool can write an older version of the boot loader understand that your phone must be in the qdloader9008 mode, if your PC doesn't detect the phone make sure you install the drivers in the zip from the download install the 32 bit if on 32 bit system or install 64 bit on 64 bit system. Hey if you need assistance on doing this Download team viewer and i'll be more than welcome to help unbrick our d855

Lg G4 H815 hard-bricked with different qualcomm soft?

Hello, (complete n00b here)
Several days ago I've tried to flash a 6.0 MM (from 5.1) to my LG G4 H815 phone. There was no option to do it automatically so I proceded to do it manually via flashboot.
I hard-bricked it to oblivion as in black screen, no response whatsoever.
While investigating @ the internet I've managed to understand I could get it fixed via quadcomm drivers (mode 9008).
Tried various "fixes" for H815 but was getting safari download errors. For some reason I tried a LS991 fix and it worked. When I started the phone it showed no logo but just a secure booting error 1006.
Still, could enter firmware download so I began to flash a lot of KDZ firmwares with no success.
LGUP shows my model : H81510H.
While in fastboot mode there is a note below (wasn't there the first time) with codes : 633 B46 or something like that.
While flashing anything it ALWAYS STOPS at 9% with a tot anti-rollback error. While flashing the code changes briefly where one can read smth like : LGLS991ZVA ver. 6.0
Managed to download some KDZ for that exact model, SAME ERROR. Tried to find / flash LS991ZVA with no success in finding a TOT file.
Also, managed to get ADB drivers up and it shows unauthorized in listing (LS991). Fastboot does not detect my device even in fastboot mode @ phone.
Please HELP!

Hello and thx for reply. I tried to do what u've said. It did something (I was looking for a while back). When I plug the cable back in, my windows 7 immediately installs quadcomm hs-usb driver (9008) and my phone acts as if it was dead. LGUP cannot find it in that state. I've been trying to QFIL the "proper" soft but it continues to pop different errors (using different QFIL versions). Either saharafail or some sort of download fail.
LGUP still presents an error (if I decide to "fastboot" it) @ 9% 0x2000, TOT antirollback version is smaller than device version.
How can I make sure I've got the proper KDZ without ANTI-ROLLBACK?

Thx again. Uppercut shows H81510H as LGUP did. Is it possible that it's somehow write-protected?
It confuses me, since during the firmware update on my phone, I get this small box below the picture showing wierd codes : 633A Bxx and when I'm trying to flash my phone, the code gets longer with LS991ZVA v6.0 and more other. It then stops.
Funny thing is, when I got the phone I couldn't even connect to the LG bridge to update it at all. I've managed to do it bugging the MTP protocol but THAT on the other hand prevented me from copying stuff / FLASH my phone to MM 6.0. Had to factory reset it back then and all went back to "normal" = LG couldnt detect my device but I could copy photos or stuff from it.
NOW, when my phone is bricked, LGbridge DETECTS my phone (in fastboot), downloads the newest KDZ update BUT cannot install it (same thing as in LGUP). Hence my question : is it somehow write-protected?

Have you tried to eset it by pushing power and volume own then when you see bootsplash then release power button and hen quickly push the power button again....
But in your case push power and volume down within the count or 20 then release power then push power button again and see what happens and then try the same thing on volume up......
Thanks for the reply.
I did what u've said. Despite no logo I tried to release power button for a second just after the screen's brightness goes up (I also get a small vibration @ start). Everytime I get secure booting error 1006 after a few seconds.
On the other hand when I did that with volume UP button there was no error but there was nothing aswell until I release power button in which case I got the secure booting error. All of the above tries were done with no USB connection with anything.

Can't tell atm since I gave it to professionals. I'll wait and see how it'll turn up. Thx for all the effort tho, was nice to tinker with a lil help
@Longbranch did you solve this problem ? I'm in the same state but my phone model is H810, everything else is the same as yours.
Nope, not really. I gave it back to the reseller and my money got returned luckily.
The professionals I refer to above did install a specific firmware for the ls991 type. Firmware ZVB I think. The only one appliable apparently. Anyways, as I suspected the ls991 type is for the US and therefore it didn't work in my country in EU. My sim card wouldnt work with it. Besides, without the sim card, the phone decided to freeze and die after several minutes every time I turn it on. Swapped for LG G5 and it's working flawlessly up until this day.
good for you, what i don't understand is that it's a h810 model but now identify as ls991 does that mean you can convert it just by a Qfil flash? I may try another model flash if can't find a suitable Rom for it

Yes! That's what I and neutrondev telling everyone :
do not use qfil without the knowledge about the result!
The only working firehose file available out there is for the ls991 and that means if you use it it will turn your device into a ls991 without any way to get back to your previous device model!!

@steadfasterX since I have done it already is there any way to get it working even as an LS991 ?
here is what i did till now
the reason for using Qfill is that it went dead after flashing an H810 rom .
after that when it's in download mode it doesn't allow me to flash the ls911ZV5 ls911ZV6 ls911ZV6_12 roms that i found ( it says LS991ZVA )
so i went in fastboot and flashed boot/aboot/recovery....img extracted from the ls911ZV6 rom then it accepted the rom in download mode
but it is stuck in a hard bootloop ( reboots when it is getting in recovery but still has download mode yet no fastboot as before)
any thoughts ?

Yes it's possible. You can boot a h811 H815 or any other rom you like. Even LOS!!
Great right? BUT you are bounded to the ls991 modem and so you need to be in a sprint network to use telephony. That means the phone is now useless outside the US .
And you wrote you tried ls911 ROMs? I hope you meant ls991
I work on a fully working experience on every network though. Checkout my proof of concept for unlocking the bootloader thread
I can go into details on IRC if you like.

@steadfasterX thank you for keeping up with me ! ( btw what room on IRC ?)
for now I have used Qfill again and got fastboot working again and flashed TWRP ( not sure where ! ) so when the phone is off and i plug the usb it boots to twrp ( but it doesn't in recovery )
normal boot will show "secure boot error 1002"
then i flashed twrp img to recovery partition using twrp but it didn't work in recovery ( still reboots after showing Recovery Mode loading screen )
also tried to load some roms on the device to try them but I got error "file too large for filesystem " when copying them .
atm I don't know the state I'm in and what should be next ?
btw here are the recovery log and dmesg

Np we can bring you back to life but as already said without cell service. That's the price for the firehose and unlocked feeling you have now.
Did you found and read my thread here?

There you will find some more info and also the IRC details how you can find me. I'm online from Monday to Friday mainly.
It's much easier to talk in chat then here. once all the details are known I will provide a full guide.

Samsung GT-I9192 starts and shutdown after its Logo and again starts and so on...

Hello Everyone,
This is my first thread on this forum, which i am making because I ran out of options, and don't know what to do....
My Samsung Galaxy S4 mini(GT-I9192) were shut down automatically when i am using it.After then I started my phone again
it starts normally but after the details Samsung Galaxy S4 mini(GT-I9192)comes and it again turn off and again restarts and
this process is going again and again. As I tell you my phone doesn't stuck on a boot as my phone restarts again before the samsung logo comes.
I've tried Emergency firmware upgrade and Initialization through kies but after entering model no. and S/N,
It says 'GT-I9192' does not support initialization. I've done that before with kies it never gives that error I don't know why now.
After That I tried to install stock firmware by Odin in download mode, The process gets completed pass message comes after that my phone reboots in recovery mode and a message print on the bottom "did not match size '/system/csc/common/system/csc/others.xml' (no data available)" i don't know what is that for and after that i reboot my phone and still same thing...
After all that I think maybe its an hardware issue but if it is an hardware issue then how my phone starts and again shutdown so i don't think it's an hardware issue btw i don't know what it is.
So Please If anyone Have any Solution please help me.
Thank You
I have same problem on my galaxy s4 mini gt-i9195 LTE.
first the phone doesnt wanna turn on at all, just show as QHSUSB_DLOAD
after xx hours googling for solution i try unbrick.img which bring the screen back in live:good:
then i try several roms but the phone reject the flash, so i try flash with original stock rom, that went successful
but that doesnt change something, still keep rebooting, even when load recovery it get reboot and keep rebooting.
I don't think that this might be a hardware issue, but something wrong with the android partitions.
I'll keep playing with it hope i find some solution.
If someone read this and has same or similar issue, please post what you have try so far, so we can work on it and find the problem.:highfive:
Thanks for your reply...
As my phone were start after flashing so many times and now it says Device Memory Corrupted Please reset your device to default
settings and there is a reset tab which doesn't working when i keep pressing that so now i think that maybe my eMMC chip was damaged well exactly i don't know that yet....
well for you just try connecting through kies and do a firmware upgrade and if that doesn't working than flash it through odin and also download PIT file for re-partition....
