Hello, thanks to my carelessness, I think I broke my dual sim functionality.
What I was doing was messing around in the network settings in Engineer mode that can be accessed using *#36446337#. And all of a sudden, both sims stopped working. After a lot of messing around with the RAT settings, I could get one of the sims working. After selection sim1 or sim2 in the options and changing the RAT settings for that sim, I can get said sim to work, but it breaks the other. No matter what I do, I can't get both working again. This was on Open Beta 9.
What I've tried doing since then:
1- Factory reset
2- Flashing another ROM (Lineage)
3- Flashing latest 4.0.4 firmware
nothing seems to get both sims to work. Always just 1 sim working. Does anyone have any thoughts what I could try?

Just do a full wipe with the unbrick tool and everything will be back to normal.
I have the same problem after I mess with the engineer mode.
Tried everything and still unsolved.
Try installing the modem or firmware of previous oxygen OS builds then updating the oxygen os

Yes, I tried the unbrick tool but it's still the same. It seems to me that the GSM/WCDMA band of the phone is broken. When put two LTE card into the phone, both can work under LTE band.

Installed the OOS3.0 and then updated to OOS4.0. Dual sim function won't work on both OS.
Flashing modem usually can solve signal lost on Samsung, but it seems that it won't work on Oneplus.

Well you just said you are a noob.. No problem but really dialing a number isn't going to break anything in your phone.. Wipe all partitions then Flash OOS 4.0.2 and o guarantee it will work, this is pure something in software level.
I have successfully fix the problem according to a post at Oneplus Community in China. Just Flash Official H2OS 2.5 (Android 6.0.1 ). Go to engineer mode. Choose Network Set -- Band mode --Hardware Default (Foreign) to fix the problem.
P.S. If you are in mainland China. Pls choose Hardware Default(China). Else choose (Foreign)

Hi everyone,
I am using a Oneplus 3 A3000 China variance. It was shipped with Hydrogen OS.
So i have unlock it and managed to flash it to Oxygen OS, as i need to use google services.
Everything was working perfectly fine until a couple of months later. I saw that Oreo is out and thus decided to upgrade it.
Using official method with stock recovery, i have managed to upgrade to the latest OxygenOS 5.0 using the below link
Oneplus 3 OOS5.0
I have followed the guide closely. Then after it reboot, my phone is no longer having service.
It will show my network SINGTEL (No service)
I have read close to 50 forums before i decided to post and seek help.
My phone info
OnePlus 3 A3000
Oxygen OS 5.0
Android 8.0 Oreo
Kernel version 3.18.66
Build number A3000_16_171116
Baseband MPSS.TH.2.0.c.1.9-00102-M8996FAAAANAZM-1.99649.1.118107.1
Stock recovery
Non root
Fingerprint, camera wifi all works
Both imei are still shown
Here is what i have already tried which all fails on me
1) Verified that Sim is not faulty. Have tested with 3 different working sim cards and it all shows no service on both Sim 1 and Sim, but works on my other phone
2) Tried using only one sim card at a time for sim1 and repeat with sim 2, same result as above
3) Remove sim card, power on phone and boot fully, power off phone and insert sim card and power it on again
4) Reset to default access point. Copied all settings from another phone using same telco access point setting and ensure its the default sim for data and services
5) Using *#*#46463*3* and set preferred network type
6) On the same menu, disable mobile radio power and reboot
7) Perform factory reset from phone phone system setting
8) Redownload OOS5.0 and reflash rom using stock recovery
9) Relock bootloader
Any help is greatly welcome. Phone no longer have warranty so i can't head back to the service centre.
Thanks for reading

Try the 5.0.1 update, maybe it works. https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/oxygenos-5-0-1-ota-update-oneplus-3-3t-t3727433
Good luck!

I'm a bit worried to go down from Oreo. Have read enough to find out that it may have bandbase issue which might result in a bricked phone

Just updated to 5.0.1 through OTA. Unfortunately, it still did not solve the issue
Take SIM out. Reboot phone. Once powered-up, put SIM back in. This worked for me, even though it's a pain.

Thanks of the suggestion.
Have performed that too on my point 3
Tried something new today. Flashed back to Hydrogen OS hoping that it can detect my sim network
But sadly, it still does not detect.
Hi, I have installed Pie update on my Mi A2 Lite however due to amount of the bugs I got back to Oreo V9.6.10.0.ODLMIFF. Since that time my SIM cards got swapped - SIM tray 1 is visible in settings as SIM 2 and vice versa. What is more annoying whenever I insert new card while phone is on, it does not auto detect that SIM has been just inserted and need to reboot phone each time I replace SIM in order to get connected to network. Can anyone help me with fixing this so the SIM ordering is corrected in software and auto detection is back on? Already tried reflashing rom and getting back to Pie but no improvements.
Hi,
I have the same problem

Hello! I updated my phone to MIUI Global 13.0.7 Stable (SKHINXM) and suddenly my phone has no service. The sim card is fine and working on other phones like it was before the update. Really unable to fix this issue. If it helps, in the testing window the 'Mobile Radio Power' is toggled off and however many times I try to switch it on, it automatically switches off. Please help! Thanks

13.0.7 Stable (SKHINXM) is a stable beta.
Try to reset the phone or if your bootloader is unlocked flash with this tool

Will flashing the file lead to me losing all data? Apologies if it's a stupid question

Okay thank you! Will try it in a few days time once I am able to give it the time needed.
It is happening to me too, I'm on stock 13.0.4 SKHMIXM, bootloader locked, it happened in 13.0.3 too. Sometimes, I see I have no services, no data, no GPS. But WiFi works great, so if I'm in house I don't always see it, but it means I cannot receive call!!!
I tried to enable/disable sim/data/location/airplane/etc nothing works.
Only way to re-make it works is to reboot the phone, and after 2 or 3 weeks it will happen again, this is the price to pay to have cheap chinese phone...
Try booting into Android with Safe Mode. (and disable Airplane Mode if enabled)
Power + Volume Up > Safe Mode
Or try this:
Settings > Updater > Tap on the "13" several times, this will enable additional Updater-features. Download the latest package and install it.
My guess is that your update may have been corrupt.
Other than that.. Factory Reset or connecting phone to PC and flashing ROM using Fastboot & Mi Flash or Terminal.
I've 13.0.7 and everything's flawless.
So the Xiaomi service center told me that it is possibly a motherboard issue. How can a software update suddenly awaken a hardware issue?
So I had not unlocked my bootloader via my Mi account and it needs mobile data for the same and hence I am unable to flash it since my network is still unavailable even after a factory reset. Any other way I can flash my phone with an older version of MIUI or I will have to submit my phone to the service center?

Could you elaborate the whole process? I do not know how to do this. Thanks
Same issue i am facing after MIUI updation for 13.0.3.0 SJCINXM ... suddenly all networks are vanished ... if i do manual search for networks then i get a message 'Couldn't search for mobile networks' . Voice call is only possible if wifi is enabled.. This is really a horrible experience and i am unable to find out a way to get rid of this situation.. I am using Redmi 9 Prime handset .. Before this update everything was surperb and flawless.
It is still happening with the latest Android 13 and MIUI14, it's frustrating... sometimes when the phone switch wifi/lte/wifi/lte/etc when you go outside, the modem crashes, it internally bootloop and the phone becomes warm and can lose 25% battery in like 15 minutes. Only way is to reboot the phone.
I had a similar problem. Were you able to solve it?
My POCO F3 8GB/256GB suddenly not letting me call anyone (Says mobile network not available) or pick up any calls but mobile network and texting is working completely fine. I've rebooted the phone multiple times, disabled volte, reinstalled google carrier services and still nothing so I had no choice but to factory reset the phone but that didn't work too. Currently using MIUI 13.0.9 and hoping there's a way to fix this asap.

Use miui flash tool to reset your phone to he miui version it came from. If it does ot work then, it's a hardware problem.

I'll try doing the MIUI Flash method. I hope it's not a hardware problem because everything was working fine and I only realised few days ago it started to not work
Check with other sim. If problem remains check different network modes 2G/3G/LTE.

So I've tried using 2 different sim cards (One of them being the same carrier as the sim that's not letting me make or receive calls on the F3) and so far those sims are working fine with the phone . Also tried putting the not "working" sim on other devices and it seems to work fine so I'm not really sure what's the problem here. As soon as I put the sim card back on the F3 it works for a moment then completely stops letting me call and receive calls.
Try changing network modes.

That method also didn't work
did you try downgrading to 13.0.8.0 fw? could be a defective modem driver
Try manual network selection. If fails probably hardware.

I'm getting Location unavailable too on Firmware 13.0.9, revert back to Firmware 13.0.8, and the location is okay again. Maybe you can revert to Firmware 13.0.8, don't think too far first.
