S10+ September 2020 Update Issue - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Guides, News, & Discussion

My S10+ is SM-G9750 (TGY HONGKONG) unlocked snapdragon dual sim variant.
Still it didn't get September 2020 update.
I checked on Sammobile latest firmware for downloading it manually, but there I found August 2020 as latest one.
I tried on Samsung Smart Switch, but there no update available also.
Except SM-G9750 all other variant hos got it already.
Can anyone help me for this issue !??
When will I get that upgate !??

Not worth my time... I am sporting XAR firmware, and expect the next update to be next month. If so, I may upload it here, as all the XAR firmwares seems best when checking them out with other patched or modded firmwares.

How do you know there will be an update this month?
Do you expect that the update come with an updated security patch?
TIA
To answer my own question, I flashed the above firmware ( PEO-N5110XXSDQA7-20170207091810) to my Canadian Note 8 (n5110) and here is "about device" screenshot. It does not say anything about Security Patch Level.
My Galaxy TAB A has the same security software version and it has November security patch. So I guess this firmware should have November security patch.
It's odd they would release annother 4.4.2 build rather than an actual update. but the annoying part is that there doesn't seem to be a canadian or usa build.

It f/w an update... the few released have stagefright updates and fixes to kk.
Though other regions will be updated as well, with even more recent updates to KK and stagefright.
I just dont bother with these as the only regions I deal with are XAR and BTU. I am a happy puppy with C0I3 as it only has one outstanding stagefright issue, which my antivirus scans for automatically when I download vids. So I see no real reason to update my build unless I get bored and redo all my customizations one more time. Ha!

BRE5

Unrooted Exynos model. Updated via OTA to BRE5 and now VoLte isn't working anymore. I'm on MetroPCS/T-Mobile. It was working fine on the last version.
Anyone experience the same thing?
Are you on G960F model?

Exynos is the international S9, chances are the CSC (Which controls features such as VoLTE) is wrong for your region if you are using a US carrier, not sure why it would have been working previously though as the firmware for Exynos does not include any US regions in the first place
Either flash back to the previous working version, or try flashing just the CSC from that firmware, or test a few other firmwares for that model S9

Not getting OTA updates despite vaild CSC

Hello. I have a Note10+ SM-N975F International version. Last December, I have updated my phone to the first Android 10 build manually after going through all the betas, which I too, updated manually. Since then, I have been unable to get OTA updates, and I am stuck on build BSL7. My CSC settings correspond to my country:
SAOMC_SM-N975F_OXM_ILO_QQ_0005
RF8M802E8EW
ILO/ILO/ILO
Can I solve this by simply flashing the newest build? Or will the problem just persist? Thanks.
You may be able to flash the update that came by using sam firm to search your csc, but I generally use the AUT CSC however I'm in the USA... Not sure if the aut CSC will work for you

I use Frija and odin else i would be on android 9, my csc is still nee even through i flash dbt, just dont wipe use HOME_CSC_OXM
Exactly what he said

Flash the October one?
If you flashed a different CSC to the one your phone was running, and it's not included in the phones Multi-CSC / The update for the new firmware is different to the original CSC firmware, then it will not receive OTA

I have flashed the att firmware in this sub and it receives all the otas but it stays in the august build G981USQU1BTH2. and now it doesn't update to the last build, the server can't find a newer version.

all other operators builds are different from att. for example, I cannot get aug G981USQU1BTH2 build or oct G981USQU1BTIH build from another operator. apparently no other carrier uses these builds or they do not appear for download on the web. I already tried installing a preview of those other operator builds to see if it caught ota without success. I have also tried it with the USERDATA att and without

S20+ SM-G986W can use firmware SM-G986U Tmobile????

Anybro out there know if Canadian S20+ SM-G986W can flash SM-G986U ? The reason I ask because Canadian firmware take LONGGGG time to update. And I saw Android 11 firmware on the Tmobile. Please let me know. Thank you very much for your time, and much appreciated.
I flashed my SM-G981W with the G981U1 firmware (CSC XAA) back in April 2020 and now I'm running G981U from t-mobile (CSC TMB with OneUI 3.0) with no issues so far outside of samsung pay not accepting my CC due to it wanting a zip code and not a postal code. I use google pay anyway so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Thank you for your reply. WHILE reading your response, I am on one UI 3.0 T-Mobile too. It worked on 986W Canadian version.

Out of curiosity did you have to change your devived CSC to install the the T-Mobile firmware or just downloaded and install via SD through recovery?

Nope. I used Odin to flash the image I downloaded using Frija and then used the HOME_CSC_OMC_OYN_xxx file as the csc.
