unlikely as we are still running on the android oreo beta 8 at the most current. and beta 8 only released yesterday (15/05/18 or 05/15/18) as an OTA update
last friday i bought 64 gb rn8 ... used it after note 5 AI ... global version ... i felt that animation is too laagy and miui not smooth at all in touch,typing, and animations ... 3 days later recieved miui 10.3.5.0 ota ... things became much bad .. what the hell is that ??

Also changed note 5 to 8... My old 5 working million times faster and smoother, mine is Chinese version.
I never saw such non optimized rom on xiaomi phones. Note 8 is just insanely retarded phone
