Relocking Bootloader For Netflix Hd

Hello guys I am a noob and while installing android q beta 6 on Asus Zenfone 5z I unlocked my bootloader and since then it is showing Widevine l3.So I would like the assistance of Xda Gods to help me lock the bootloader and Netflix and chill.

I don't think you can relock the bootloader by any direct process.

Pretty much this. To go through the amount of trouble it would take, all for Netflix.. Not worth it. There's another easier way than this.

Actually I found a method to relock the bootloader and got back Netflix hd.
Thanks for the reply though.
And I also heard that asus oem_relock command is working.

I just updated via OTA and now I can't stream in FHD. The Netflix app shows L3 instead of L1. Does this update unlock the bootloader by itself?

Where is Android Q beta 6 update ??

Can you link me the tutorial to relock the bootloader? I don't know if updating via OTA unlocked it by itself, but my Netflix app shows L3 support only.
The DRM app shows L1. I don't know what's going on.

Yeah i have the same problem here, bootloader locked, FOTA update, and i have the same problem DRM shows L1, but Netflix shows L3, i saw on the asus Forum many users had this problem...
Seems like the same thing that happenend when Asus uploaded from android 8 to 9, i don't know what to do to solve it, if anyone figure out, please share.

I'm facing the same problem as well. No clue what to do about it.

Do anyone else have broken widevine after may security update? Mine changed sudenlly.
It's European version.
[Edit] please someone just download DRM info and check. I don't know if only my phone has this problem.

Nope.. Still L1 on the Indian version after update..

I think it broke only for European version.

Yes.. Indonesia was getting an A19 update probably that fixes this issue cause the changelog said fixed minor issue but it wasn't properly mentioned

Good, I did the same.

Quick update: I've send my phone to warranty, they gave me a new one, I've updated it and it was on L1 for 2 weeks and today it suddenly changed to L3 XD Which is weird is that I think it was because custom live wallpaper or picture in picture Netflix video. It's weird af, they are supposed to fix this in the next update.

No, it's an error and realme said that they'll fix it in an update.

The latest A.25 update fixes this issue. Realme 6 pro is now with widevine L1.

Yep. That's the update I already have. However, for some weird reason it reverts back to L3 after some time, a reboot fixes it. I don't know what's wrong, I already rebooted 3 times just to make it go back to L1.

Flashed Global ROM over VodaFone stock ROM, Can I relock bootloader? (Redmi Note 8T)

Hey guys, I know people ask this all the time but please help a noobie out.
I bought this phone online back in 2019 and it came with a VodaFone ROM. Today I installed Android 11 Update but I didn't like what they did with 3rd party launchers not being able to use gestures so I unlocked bootloader and flashed the official Global ROM (MIUI 12 Android 10) with XiaomiTool V2, but now I can't use some essential apps and also I'm worried cuz my phone is unlocked and not secure.
I already checked on Xiaomi's oficial Product Authentication and it has a green tick and it says: "Congratulations! You can be assured the phone you have purchased is the official international version." That means I don't have a Chinese Version right?
So my question is can I safely lock bootloader without bricking my device?

there is no such thing
android is well secure system and the only thing you should worry about is miui+google are watching you and are selling your data

it will mostly brick your device
and even if you manage to do it ,you will not be able to unlock again in case you want to change rom or use custom roms ...
