when i was setting up my WI-FI i noticed it had an on/off notification option for vibration when changing/picking up other wi-fi signals.
i'm having problems locating that setting.
How do i turn the vibration off - it's waking me up at night :silly:
I am looking for a way to disable the battery full notification and it's associated sound or vibration.
It's annoying as it is even on when you switch it to priority mode, and depending on your volume it'll vibrate or make a sound. I haven't tested no interruptions because I like setting alarms for when I go to sleep.
so normally you can toggle vibrate mode on/off by pressing the volume button once, when the volume slider appears in the top of the screen, pressing the bell on the left of the slider toggled between ring and vibrate.
normally when you toggle in and out of vibrate mode it will remember the ringer volume that is normally set. i.e. i normally have ringer at maximum, if i toggle on vibrate mode the slider goes all the way down, and if i toggle out of vibrate mode the slider goes right back up to maximum volume. I has been like this since kitkat i think?
problem is with the OP3 when i toggle out of vibrate mode the ringer is back on but only at a low level. Anyone have any idea why this happens?
Hi,
I'm using LineageOS 20/07/19 on my OP5. I'm rooted and using Magisk.
My current settings for my alert slider are :
- Vibrate
- Full silence
- Priority only
Priority only is using Do not disturb, which is what I want. Except that when I set Priority only, it will ALWAYS set the ring volume at more than 0.
If I set my alert slider on Vibrate, and switch on Priority only, it will set the ring volume at more than 0.
If I set the ring volume on MAX, and switch on Vibrate, it will set the ring volume at 0, and it will be vibrate only. But if I set the slider on Priority only then, it will set the ring volume on MAX again.
But it will NEVER set the ring volume on 0 if I choose to set it on 0.
I don't understand what I can do to have a Priority only mode with ONLY vibration.
I want my favorites contacts to call me at night, but I want my phone to vibrate and not to ring.
If I use NFC, it will make a sound even in Priority mode. I don't want that, it's not priority.
Screenshots :
- Vibrate only
- Priority mode after ring volume set at 0, changed to vibrate mode and then back to priority mode (ring volume doesn't stay at 0)
- Priority mode after ring volume set at max, changed to vibrate mode and then back to priority mode (ring volume go back at max)
Please tell me there is a way to do what I want.
Thanks in advance

Just checked and its already disabled so that didn't work....... Any other ideas?
Cannot see why the volume control would be greyed and only half way. Bluetooth the speakers etc all have a working volume control but not telephone.
I think you have the device to be connected to the phone via Bluetooth for it to not be grayed out and be able to set it up.
After that it'll stay on, but showed greyed when disconnected.

The telephone Bluetooth volume control on the phone is greyed out when the phone is connected to my Mercedes via Bluetooth. Bluetooth telephone works fine in the car but I cannot adjust the volume on the phone as I can with all other Bluetooth devices. The volume slider on the phone is greyed out and set at 50% when connected so cannot increase the Bluetooth volume which I would like to do as the volume is low.
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue.
Connections>Bluetooth>Advanced settings
Dual Audio and Media volume sync, try toggling these.
These are known trouble makers that can toggle randomly dating back to at least N9. A recent Wearables update fixed one of these related issues I think.
When in doubt clear system cache in the boot menu.
If nothing else gets it, reset network settings (fairly painless).
