Greetings to the experts here at the forum. I have one question for you. About three days ago Sony released a new fw for tv advice 2018. So far only for the US region. According to Reddit, it's going to be Android 9 after F900X. Doesn't have any experience with this update. Alternatively, it could not someone confirm that it's android 9. Here, too, the google play dev. consoleI says that MT8591 receives support for Android 9 https://twitter.com/androidtv_rumor/status/1309429630177341450?s=09. Philips TV also uses this chipset but uses 1.5ghz clocks. There's someone in the U.S. who could try it. The information is very small. Sony is still silent. Could someone confirm this information to me or disregard android 9 for tv series x900f. Thank you in advance.
I was wondering the same thing.....I have a XBR-55A8G (2018) and it's listed to get this update but I wanted to see if people are pushing the update ahead of scheduled release

I am currently working on a version of my app, The Elements, specifically for the Adam and similar tablets. Currently this app is available in the Demo section or the Android Market. You should be able to transfer it to your tablet if the market is not available on your tablet. Because this will transfer straight into the finished product it does cost 2.99 (price libel to increase with introduction of Wolfram|Alpha API). For those of you who check it out, please send me your thoughts and let me know what you think I need to fix or add. Thanks.

I've been trying to buy the tablet version for my Advent Vega Tegra tablet running Android 2.2 but the Android market website says it is "Not available for your carrier"
It does not appear in the Android Market on the tablet, although your two phone versions appear there.
My tablet does not have a sim slot and no 3g capability and thus does not have a "carrier".
Do you have any ideas how I can purchase your app?
If it's of any relevance I'm in the UK.

Just so you know I expect this to be comparable to the iPad app but this is NOT the same. Nor am I affiliated to the creator of the iPad app. I do realize that they have the same name. I have not looked at whose came first nor am I sure that it matters seeing as I am on a different platform. Just want to clear that up. This is the announcement of our new Gear (Galaxy) watch app. It is basically a full-featured voice assistant using Amazon Alexa voice service running on your watch.
Today, we will be starting a closed beta and hopefully if we can solve all issues, the app will be released in 10-15 days.
The application consists of a GUI on the watch and a companion app which should run on the Android phone. (only Android , no IOS unfortunately)

Without the watch app, the companion Android application is useless.
We have a few known issues, and before a full release including watch side application, we would like to identify and solve all issues.. That's the reason of this closed beta.

I have this model bought in Iran and it is on version 6 of android,
anyone can point me to a firmware file for this model (the curved model) that doesnt brick it.

is this tested for my curved tv?
or are they all work the same on the same chipset?

I installed the Update_V8-T658T01-LF1R549_sign.pkg and Update_V8-T658T01-LF1R814_sign.pkg and it works for now.
but two issues exists.
the setting are too simplfied and a lot of options are gone.
for example it no longer has a about page that I took a picture from but an about page like other android OSs that has no sw and firmware info expect saying android 8.0.0.
second, moving through menus gives an audio feedback ping that is very annoying.
this update removes a lot of options.
for example the option to change picture and audio quality (like setting for movie sport and so on) and contrast and local dimming setting and all that is GONE.
so this is WARNING to you all.
UPDATE:
ok I was wrong.
the setting for local dimming and contrast and picture and so on are there and I can mute the audio feedback ping for moving the selector.
they are available via the picture quality button which I didnt use very much so I thought they are gone.
the old android setting in gone and the new one is less extensive.
WARNING :wifi speed is very low (15Mb/s)

maybe it is a regional branding thing.

My Sony TV (KD-55X8505) is still running Android TV 7.0 and I would be very happy if there’d be some possibility to upgrade the Android TV version.
I was not able to find anything in the forums or on reddit via on-site search or the duck search engine.
Could anyone please help out with some advice?

Hi, there. First my questions is about Galaxy Watch 3 pre-installed watch faces. Do you know anybody how to get these watch faces from Watch 3 to Active 2? Is any chance to get it with upcoming Tizen 5.5 software update for Active 2? For example (see added picture) i need this one, maybe someone know how to get it? I have Active 2 BT version with stock rom OS, and i will not prepare to flash other OS. I care my warranty which i have. I am talking about simple watch face file (can someone say exactly how named Tizen files .tnz or how???) installing to Active 2 if is any chance at all? I'm rookie about Tizen OS, so if someone can explain please write here. Thanks in advance.
P.S. Samsung Watch 3 pre-installed watch faces until now (i have Active 2 Tizen 4.0.0.7 OS) is not available in Samsung Store, but maybe who have Tizen 5.5 can download in Samsung Store? I checking it almost everyday or in a week several times. So about checking Samsung Store i know
Second question about Tizen OS update 5.5 for Active 2. I tried to check in youtube about this update for Active 2 (original, not fake update). But i found just one video. Which by the way is not so good as i thought (too less information about it, is showed just new some features, too short video). I know that this update is released nly for German users in Europe, but maybe someone can to tell or to do video what's changed after update in Active 2 (i mean not only features which already Samsung wrote in theirs web site, i don't need this information. I know about Vox2 while you running and etc., i mean is any others new stuff in Active 2 after update like new watch faces, ECG which was promised (some people writing is, some writing is not) and etc. All details is interesting).
