I need help adding a URL Calendar? - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I just bought a Note 10+ and I want to add an iCal URL to either my Samsung Calendar or Google Calendar but I don’t see an option.
Please could someone give me a step by step tutorial on how to do this?
Thanks

I believe for Google you have to add it through the website (or mobile site) and not through the app. That's the way I have always added mine.

Thank you for your response.
I have tried looking on the website but I can’t find anything? Hence why I wanted a step by step tutorial.

See the instructions https://help.sportlyzer.com/hc/en-us/articles/207593579-Add-iCal-to-Google-Calendar?mobile_site=true

It doesn’t work
I’ve tried this method and I can assure you it doesn’t work.

No offense, but have you tried googling this? I found hundreds of articles. Including this one:

Hmm...
Have you tried it? Does it work?? That’s my question.

Why not try it and find out? Cripes, man, do you want us to do it for you?

I was being Sarcastic in my earlier reply
I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work. All of the information on the web is outdated.

I tried up to the point where I could add the URL to Google calendar. At the line where the URL was to be entered I stopped as I don't have/know any iCal ...
What I found was that you cannot do it in mobile mode but works perfect in desktop mode on my phone - this was reported by calendar.google.com ...
I think it works ...

Why is one specific Google voice function fc'ing?

Hi guys, so I found out you can say "note to self.." followed by what you want to note on Google voice search in JELLYBEAN. Apparently, it sends it via email to your gmail, but when saving, the app force closes. Its on that specific function. Everything else works. any ideas? Thank you

What? I can read that perfectly, what's the problem? Saving a note on Google voice search force closes the app

don't make a comment on here if you have nothing productive to say. at all. don't really need this kind of ***t around here. just sayin.
to the OP... not sure what the issue is, mine is working just fine. i know that there was an update to the google search app a little while ago. go into your market and verify it has been updated. if that doesn't work, try fixing permissions through recovery. let us know

[Q] Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync

Does anyone out there have a patch for the stock email app which bypasses the password reqiuirement that is set by our administrators? When I had my Skyrocket there was an email.apk that would fool the account to make it appear to the admin that there was a password active but in reality I had it turned off on my phone.

kwhit - follow the instuctions on the link and you should be good to go. Let me know if you have any issues with it and I can post the patched apks after I have patched them. I would need to know what ROM you are running though.
Thanks guys.
Works like a champ!

I also was unable to download the app from the store, BUT I have the apk of the tablet version which I installed manually and it works fine. I can upload it once I get home if you would like.

Sorry guys! I got home so late and completely forgot. Here it is!

Put db.tt/ before what I have above. It is also case sensitive so enter the URL exactly as shown above. Can't post links so this is a way around it

Any way to verify the legitimacy and safety of this app?

this isn't the apk for the tablet version.
They're one in the same unless it specifies for tablets. With DPI change the layout will also change

they're not the same. The Amex for Android app is for tablets. The one attached here is the American Express US app.
Would love to get hold of the apk for this or for the BoA tablet app.

Dual camera mode in Skype?

Some articles online suggest it's possible but I can't get it to work nor find any instructions on how to enable. Bah!

It will only work if the developers of Skype enable it. Other than that, sorry

Works Fine here
Strange. It will not load the forum for me.
I'm now using the XDA one app. Which is good.
Bit I use multiple forums and would like to have one app for all.
Any one else?

Try @svetius, @Judge Joseph Dredd, @KennyG123 or @the_scotsman.
Seems to be working now. Uninstalled and reinstalled and all is OK?

Lol. Damn auto correct.
Should have said now.
Now I'm happy again
@Valiceemo
Ah, that makes sense. That's exactly why I have AutoCorrect off 100% of the time!
I see this every time I go to XDA in Tapatalk. This is just one of many issues/complaints I have with the latest update.
Same problem here...
I see all my usual forums okay. And can browse our search for new ones. But how do I get tapatalk to show me all the blog posts? It used to be an option in the drop down selection box but that's now all the forums within xda instead.
I've been fumbling around with it since the update. Tried to install my backuped version but that was a no go for some reason, it would just hang.
It seems to me to be a problem since the last update. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Frustrated!
I've got the same problem : no access to XDA since 2 days.
I've tried to delete and recreate the forum into tapa. But no way.
And then, I've noticed that there was an app update, from 4.6.2 to 4.10.1 on the market, with probably change of Google Play signature.
BTW, that would explain I didn't receive any notification for this app update.
So I installed the new one (new design, new UI) and it works now.
Strange behaviour from Tapatalk company...
Okay for opening the sub forum just click the Xda-Developers on the top screen.
---------- Post added at 07:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:26 AM ----------
Screenshot for more detail
For those who can't connect, try reboot the phone/Disable then enable the wifi/data connect.
Still same problem ?
Use the xda app (couse tapatalk use multi forum)
Already tried those solutions but no way. Tapatalk guys definitly changed their app. So uninstall and reinstall is a working method (at least for me) [emoji3] .
I have a few general questions regarding Tapatalk and this looks like the perfect forum to ask (so I'll just ask)...
I participate on a lot of different forums (as most of you do as well) and right now I'm just using the stock browser that comes with CM11/M12 on my GT-P5113 and see a lot of signatures advertising "Send from OnePlus One using Tapatalk".
So, my questions are:
Is reading/posting easier/better using Tapatalk (better than using the stock tablet browser in desktop mode)?
Is Tapatalk supported by all forums (forum software) and how do you know?
If Tapatalk is not supported by a forum (forum software) what do you use to read/post messages?
Thanks.
