Hello,
I rooted my I9195 (I9195XXUCNK1), BUILD NUMBER KOT49H.I9195XXUCNK1, still on official, only rooted. When the latest update comes, i will install this update, but I got this error message: the operating system on your device has been modified in an unauthorized way. I wiped dalvik cache but this problem is still on
Do you can help me pls?
How did you tried to install that update? OTA or thru Odin?
Powered by CM12

This is the reason of that message. Rooted device can't update official thru OTA (Over the air) how you tried.
Download your firmware and flash via Odin.
Good luck

Download latest rooted image file and flash with fastboot.
Download 19.40.12 OTA and put on 32gb sd card and reboot to recovery.
It will mean you don't have to do it anyway because you have a phone that is bootlooping.
Make sure you get the right version, WW or CN as this can cause problems too....
So I'm running OOS 3.2.6. which is rooted. In the software update it shows 3.2.7 (1.3GB) available for download but it also says "Root detected, downloading full upgrade. Note: your device will be unrooted." So if i download and install this will it work ? Also, whats the best way to install official updates on a rooted OOS ?
You need clean install of oxygen before you can update regardless, just have to reflash su again afterwards and any kernels xposed you use.

You can easily install it, but after the download su will be removed, so you will have to reflash it.

I'd recommend flashing stock recovery before downloading the OTA update as twrp "sometimes" fail to flash OTA updates. Also flashing the 1.3 gb full update will remove your root. You'll have to flash supersu again for root. And you'll have to do this everytime an OTA comes.
The best way to install official updates on rooted phone is to download the patch only file for 3.2.7 and flash it via twrp. The patch file will be around 40-50MB and it is available somewhere in the XDA threads. Search for it.

Best way is to download OTA update from oneplus forum instead of complete ROM and just flash update

I did try that for the 3.2.7 update. Dirty flashed the OTA patch but it didn't seem to work. It's still 3.2.6

Hi, i have an acer t07 device. When I try to update my phone through ota, which is 400mb, during the installation it fails. And then i have to download again the update. Is there a way to backup or save the downloaded files so it wont download again? Without root if possible. And also, custom recovery does not still work for my last-year-released device. Thanks

If your device rooted or custom recovery installed then can't flash OTA update because of modifications in system partition. OTA check system if found any modification then OTA update abort.
