Can I Install Android Pie GSI to Xiaomi Mi6 and How?

Hi everyone, just decided to flash a new ROM to my Mi6 and ran into Project Treble. There is a lot of threads and discussions about Treble and installation to Mi6 and I decided to open a thread which people can help me and future Treble noobs Thanks in advance!

Also I saw something about partitions ( A B and A/B ) and searched which one I'm using and which one is better? Found Mi6 is using A partition table but can't found info about which one is better and can I switch between them....

A-only is better for custom ROMs since it's straight-forward.
A/B results in two system, vendor and boot partitions ( and possibly other ones too ) , excelling at seamless updates ( OTAs install on the B partitions while you are using your phone and when you reboot, the phone switches to the B partitions and you can use the update right away ).
However, on A/B devices, there's no dedicated recovery partition so you have to infuse TWRP into the boot.img just like Magisk.

I don't think that device has treble support, sorry. But still you can search for custom ROMs

Nope i don't have that much time.General problem is FP don't work in all GSI

So for me, I had a lot of lag after using video apps such as Netflix or YouTube. Do you know if this issue still persist on the android 10 ROM? I don't care about the fp (it's crap), but face unlock would be nice

I checked the link,only blissrom was with key.I fixed,other links are direct links.If you whant some rom t dawnload and you can't for any reason just pm i will help you my frend

You are most awesome, thank you. Do you know at all if these will work on the A505W? I will try anyways, I am not happy with the Havoc GSI thus far. Magisk won't stick (applies in TWRP successfully but app after boot shows not installed for kernel module). Also, fingerprint not working (though thats the case with all custom ROMs right now) and MTP File sharing is broken.

For twrp patched whit magisk i don't know,because i didn't flashed.I just waiting to be more stable.For MTP i know that we have wonderful devs like geiti84 and zvox.geiti84 its aware for problem whit MTP and is working t fix that problem.For FP sensor i asked Phhuson and maybe next Android 10 realise this will be fixed.And yes all custom Gsi have FP sensor problem

I've tried it and it works for the most part. Camera, LED Flash, Bluetooth, Rotation, WiFi, Calls, Data, Audio. MTP for some reason does not seem to work. Gestures work but there is no nav bar on bootup. There is network but the signal bar shows empty. Fingerprint sensor does not work. There is a bit of lag when opening apps for the first time but they do ok afterwards. Gonna do some more testing and gather logs and see what I can fix on my own.

has anybody tried to install a GSI image on this device? Its my first device with treble support and iam very unhappy with MIUI and hope that there is a way to install a stock image on this device. Will a GSI need a special adjustment or something like this because of the MTK processor?

Tried and failed. Don't know what I did wrong and I'm pretty new to this stuff so don't have that much experience. I'm sure it's possible.

TWRP for this phone doesn't support installing GSI, I bricked my phone because of it

If you tried ab that's probably why you failed - ab has different partition layout than aonly which is this device... Somebody should try aonly gsi and check...

Can you install system gsi? Because there is only a super partition in TWRP.

When new TWRP 3.5.0 gets fixed it will work good because it supports dynamic partitions properly

Yes. If you do fastboot getvar all you won't get boot slot etc which is normal on a/b roms

[Recovery][ALPHA][ANDROID-10][22-05-2021] LineageOS Recovery 17.1 for Realme X50 Pro 5G (RMX2076)

Introduction
This is a LineageOS Recovery compiled from the source tree of LineageOS 17.1 for Realme X50 Pro 5G. This is part of my ongoing work to port LineageOS 17.1 to this device. Work on the actual LineageOS 17.1 ROM is still under way (but it should be available very soon), while the recovery has been usable for quite some time now. Since it is not possible for TWRP to support any device launched with Android 10 for now, I figured that this might be useful even before I release the LineageOS custom ROM (e.g. people may want to flash Magisk on official ROMs).
Instructions (Installing Recovery)
1. Run `fastboot flash recovery recovery.img`
2. Run `fastboot reboot recovery` to enter LineageOS Recovery
Instructions (Installing Magisk)
You have to use the official Magisk, version 20.4 or later. Installing an older Magisk will make the system unbootable.
1. Download Magisk >= 20.4, put onto computer
2. Reboot to LineageOS recovery, select `Mount /system` (you may see some errors, but they can be safely ignored)
3. Select `Apply update from ADB`
4. Run `adb sideload Magisk-xxx.zip`
5. You will see a signature verification error, select `Yes` to bypass the check
6. Reboot to system to enjoy your Magisk installation.

Yes but can u tell me is there any way to flash magisk in realme ui 2.0(Android 11) ? There is no firmware file available for my device (RMX2086) ,So I can't even use boot img patch method to flash magisk , I don't want to downgrade to android 10 to flash magisk

First tell me your current firmware version. And there is no benefit to flash magisk in android-11 because it will damage your wifi, mobile connection, bluetooth etc. So I won't recommend you to flash magisk on android-11. If you still want to flash it better to downgrade to Android-10 there is everything fine with magisk.

UnLuckily i don't own this device. But i have build for testing. Last one booted. Few bugs were present, so latest build need to be tested.
