I was mowing my grass with my Note 10+ 5G in my pocket connected to my headphones. When I was done I took it out and found this floating 'Phantom' window and I don't know how to get rid of it. If you look close it has another window inside and that has one. Its like those infinity mirrors. Anyways, its driving me nuts. Anyone k

now how to get rid of it?

Ok I got the pic link added //linksharing.samsungcloud.com/1yjQV9ubdJpN
You'll need to add the https: to the front of it. Site won't let me post it since I'm new.
If it's being caused by Samsung cloud, disable it if closing all open apps or a reboot doesn't work.
When I took it out of my pocket it was in developer options and the gray scale was turned on making the screen color gray. I figured something else in dev ops was changed along the way but I can't figure it out. Everything else seemed set right.

Just turn off Developer Options globally at the top of it's page if that caused it. It will revert to the original settings.
Ah ha!
That worked. I wish I knew which setting caused that but I'm happy for now. Thank you.
You're welcome.
Probably under drawing like "show surface updates".
Flashing purple colored? Bet that got your attention.

I currently running ROM:vp3G 3.60.2 full with some addons. I have a few questions though when running the HTcustom 1.8 and setting the clock display under UI to nothing I end up with this:

if you notice the sound icon is gone and the signal strength is cut in half, also if you look closely the color of the small lines just under HTC home are blue, is there any way i can change these to a transparent gray color like on the HTC home bar? Thanks for any help
I think its the same way in all the ROM's i had wondering too, if that is possible to have a transparent thing up there!
well it seems as though the icon problem has nothing to do with HTcustom, I uninstalled it and still have that problem, as for the color I wasnt able to make it transparent, but I did find a nice .tsk at pocketpcaddict forums, it was called windows mobile black vista theme. its pretty nice. It may even be here as well im not sure, if not here is the link to that forum http://www.pocketpcaddict.com/forums/file498.html , and if anyone wants that alienhead background let me know il upload it
For the Today lines you can use ThemeGenCe described here and make them any color you want. I remember reading about the issue with the clock in the top bar, but last time I checked there wasn't a solution. You either had to put the battery meter or the clock. Hope this helps.
Is that an issue with the rom itself? As I posted earlier, I've uninstalled HTcustom and still have the same problem. I do notice though, that I can make it appear when I slide the LCD and make it change orientation, open a program, and as the program is running slide it back closed, the sound will appear. I've done this consistently, but as soon as you put the device in standby and turn back on, or softboot, the problem comes back. Hope that helps in troubleshooting the issue.
svetius: "jump to your device" -- shouldn't this go above the dropdown so no rollover
Hey I cannot quarrel with the man who brought Youtube embeds within 48 hours or initial request... (btw, am I the only one using it? ... wait, let me answer that: yes. But I like it, so thank you !)
That pair of "quick navigation to your phone" tools at top right has been really great. It's just that enroute to using the text box to type in "desire" I almost always rollover the dropdown which causes an obstruction to my desired objective.
You probably wrestled with this and have reasons for the way you did it. But just in the event you were really really smashed that night and really had no rationale whatsoever and just flipped a coin, are you open to trying to flip the two...
Another unsolicited usability comment in the spirit of improvement. The xda favicon is such a welcome change from the boring vBulletin v, but I find it hard to read.
Did you ever come across how they went about remaking the YouTube favicon to improve its readability? It sounded very esoteric by god it did the job... A reader submitted it -- and YouTube took her up on it, and adopted it:

About the drop down...in the forum redesign we're working on, you must click the drop down to get it to open.
About the fav icon...feel free to make one that is better than the current. All of us are quite pleased by the new icon. It's not perfect, but making a legible 16x16 graphic is very difficult.
I'm going to try my hand at making some request widgets. Get crazy with it, I wanna really push the envelope on my learning curve. Go nuts.

Hello!
I was trying to learn all the date functions, #DRd , #DRm' , et al. but I cant seem to find a solution for my very simple problem.
Im trying to count (and display) the number of days, hours, minutes that have passed since I did something (like shave or watch pr0n).
Im really frustrated, all I had were the built-ins (which seemed to always count to a future date and not up from a date). Title says it all. Cheers!
How about an sunrise sunset arc countdown bar.
Basically, I have a picture of the earth on my wallpaper and I want to see if a status bar can decline around half the globe from sun-up to sun-down. Like one would do with a battery percentage or a clock.
Thanks.
Not really that hard of a request (to you at least) but I really want this clock theme on Zooper since mClock doesnt work for me. Heres a pic and also the .xml from mClock not sure if its workable with Zooper. Thanks for your consideration.

I had downgraded back to KitKat and had it setup exactly like I wanted it and had been using it for a few weeks. All of a sudden my screen would become washed out. Kind of like it was stuck in reading mode or something like that. Sometimes it will correct itself on it's own or if I enable then disable grayscale mode. If that doesn't work, then I have to reboot. After being locked for a few minutes though, it gets washed out again. I decided to go back to Lollipop to see if that fixed it but it's still happening.
What could be causing it have washed out colors?
Can you screenshot what you're talking about? And why would you want to be on KitKat?
Do you have the adaptive display enable?, is the rgb sensor blocked?
John.
I was going to try and get a screenshot but it hasn't done it again. Anyway, I just traded it for a gaming laptop today so doesn't really matter much anymore. Thanks for the replies though!
So, I got my tablet back and I have some screenshots of the issue available. Hopefully you'll be able to see what I talking about.

I believe it's hardware related. I was holding it at the bottom right corner when it got the green tint. Grabbing the bottom right and top left corners and bending slightly on the back of it causes the green tint. Bending on the front reverses the green tint. Loose connection, a short, or failing screen altogether?
EDIT: I looked at those screenshots while my screen is normal and I can't see the green tint, so this is really weird!
How to fix Pixel XL "Personal assistant by Google" Screen Burn In? Where is image?
So I picked up a google pixel XL but it has a obvious burn in that seems to be caused by those words being shown on screen for "days". Can anyone tell me where I can show that screen? is it a google app? is it a demo mode? where can i initialize it? I went to developer options -> enable demo mode + show demo mode, but that does nothing. it only removes my notification icons.
Please see my image of my burn in:

That way, I can try inverting the screen colors while playing that screen to reverse the burn in (yes I know, I"m just burning the rest, but it's better than now still).
thanks,
