note 2 on 02 firmware change ?

hi,got my note 2 n7100 secondhand and phone was on o2 but previous owner got it unlocked,im on tmobile uk & it comes up wit 02 splashscreen when booting up and has a few 02 apps etc on the phone,i want rid of this junk so whats my best option ? not to keen on rooting & i have tried updating the note 2 with kies but wont update from 4.1.1 as im sure there is an upgraded firmware is there not ? any tips folks on my best way to update to latest firmware and remove 02 junk ?
and ive ran the emmc check about this sudden death thing and my chip is vtu00m and fwrev 0xfi ?
dont know what this means but dont want to kill my shiny new gadget with wrong firmware etc
and the note 2 is superb love it more than the s3 i sold

Download t mobile firmware and flash it has odin.

i looked in stock roms yes ? but what one is tmobile uk and its 4.1.2 update yes ? and how do i install this with odin ?

put this firmware on and it looks like its 02 firmware as i checked on kies & it says this firmware cannot be updated through kies,can someone please point me in the right direction for tmobile 4.1.2 uk stock firmware

i need help with my tab s t805 :(

I bought my tab s 10" t805 from someone who brought it with him from USA or Canada idk,
Iam in egypt now and when i used the tab i found two problems !
1- tha tab has no phone dialer and it cant make calls ... and when i asked i was told that the carriers in USA block voice calls on these devices or smthn !!
But now im in egypt and cant make voice calls . So can anyone help me with that ? And if i rei stalled the rom would that make any difference ??
2- the second problem is that my tab doesn't seem to have HSDPA connection !
I dont know how or why but on my note 3 i have the H+ but on the tab s at the same place and same time and same sim card ... only 3G !!!
I'm sorry this is my first post ever here, and i would really br gratefull if someone could help me with this.

Install another firmware from Sammobile and TAKE CARE BECAUSE I guess your tab s not T805 check out before you download any firmware update

Recently I bought a Samsung A5 2017 in Indonesia (model dual sim) and would like to know if it's possible to put a french firmware (so a firmware of SM-A520F) on SM-A520F/DS model?

It would be wiser to use dual sim firmware rather than single sim firmware

I was worried too but I tried to use the normal a520f firmware and it worked fine.
BTW Some apps may not work because they will assume you are rooted eg. S HEALTH and secret mode on browser but you can actually root to get around this by editing a line in build.prop

I'm on the same boat, only with the A3: I've bought my phone as an A320F/DS (that's what the box says, and indeed it has double SIM), but when you check Settings--»About phone--»Model name, it only says A320F (without the DS). And then when you look for firmware updates in Samsung website, you only find for the A320F. Might it be that A320F/DS is only a second, alternative denomination for the A320F, being both identical? (Same would happen with the A7.)

It's one year since your question, but still my answer may help others:
I've flashed a SM-A320F stock firmware on my SM-A320F/DS and it works perfectly. I believe that the A series firmwares are exactly the same for single SIM and dual SIM models.

In trying to sort this out for the s7 g935f/ds, I believe I was told that indeed the F firmware is the correct firmware for both 1 and 2 sim models. There was no FDS firmware at all.

How to change csc to India

Hi all,
I'm a bit annoyed with Samsung where July Update is already out but I'm still on May Update.
I would like to change my csc to India so that I get updates faster.
Can someone explain or provide a guide on how changing the csc to india please?

Hey mate! Just flash newest firmware of India via ODIN
Or use Samsung Smart Switch for computer to get faster updates :good:

Is it safe to flash A505F firmware on the A505FN device? As far as I know, the only difference is NFC.
And is it possible to void the warranty by doing this?
I tried Smart Switch a few times, but no updates.

Smart Switch only will provide you the newest firmware in the same line, not an option to use other different firmware from a different region.
Ever is recommended to do a factory reset/format data before to "switch" to other firmware and make a backup before to restore it in just minutes with SS.
Install Phone Info(Samsung) and there you will find the CSC availables for your device before to change the firmware (most of the international models are multi_CSC compatible), search for the regions and compare them here https://www.****************/2017/0...specific-product-code-csc-and-country-region/ if some of them is convenient for you then you can flash it, check before your bootloader version, I think all are now in v1 but check it before to go further.

Yes, you usually can (I switched a lot of times) but you could find some issues regarding to radio/baseband depending on how different they´re.
Take a backup before using Smart Switch, take note of your actual firmware in a safe place if something goes wrong and don´t forget to enable USB debugging and OEM unlock before to go.

Good yes already did a backup and OEM Unlock and USB Debugging are one.
I'm simply waiting the firmware to be downloaded. Take very long time to download from samfrew

Finally succeeded in flashing to INS.
I forgotten to remove my Sim Card but even that it has changed the CSC.

Hey, what's the model of your device? Is it FN, or F? Because Indian firmware is A505F, so I don't know if I can flash A505F firmware on my FN device.

My model is A505F. I don't think you may install F on FN. It may work but you may have several problem with correct functionality of the phone or even brick it.

F firmware on an FN device should be ok afaik, but I believe you'll loose NFC
Also keep in mind that INS csc has this string in cscfeature_network.xml
<CscFeature_Message_ConfigImeiTracker>+919560345888,+918424098931,+919176905802</CscFeature_Message_ConfigImeiTracker>
I remember that this was a problem on custom roms for the old A-series since all roms for some reason added INS csc, so a bunch of users in europe got charged extra for messages to india if they didn't remove that from cscfeatures..
Not sure if it still acts the same, but I can confirm that the string is there in INS csc for A50.

There is finally firmware with July patch for FN versions of this device, so probably I'll wait few days, because only 5 countries in Europe got an update to the newest version, skipping June security patch, but I hope we'll have new features in the camera.

Are you trying to flash 5g firmware in a normal 10 plus? If so I believe you will mess your phone up.

You will soft brick your phone...
May as well flash ios on it and expect it to run...
The model numbers matter and to a certain degree so do regions though if you use the OXM rom it will allow you to upgrade as it is a multi CSC rom. The model has to match however, yours is an N9750 so you CAN'T flash an N9760 rom or it will either bootloop or just not boot.
This may be recoverable by flashing the correct firmware on your phone but why risk it in the first place now you know IT WON'T WORK.
We leave it in your hands, it's your device, but you have been warned...
