Anyone know the whereabouts of a orig WM5 ROM for the Dash...user upgraded device and now can't use 3rd party app.
use the sda unlocker to appunlock the device dont use the surreal networks one i just tested that one on one of my other dashs and what it actually does is it locks it agian so.
1. Hard reset your device
2. hook it up to the pc with active sync and run the sda unlock tool if you dont have it pm me and ill send it to you

I'm looking to upgrade my Dash to WM6, but want a copy of the original ROM so I can go back if I need to.

does anyone use this to build ROMs if so could you please help me outwith using it it has alot of promise from what i have seen and i want to learn to cook with it it also allows for easy porting and such so if anyone knows how to use it then please help me out. for those who dont know what im talking about then here is a link.

thanks but could i build with that it shows i can update the ROM date and version. i tried to update the ROM date the way you said to in your thread but i couldnt figure out what i needed to edit and i have been wanting to figure out how to change the red letters at the first boot screen would be what its changing or not i know what to edit for the rom version in the device info but the red letters i still dont know how to edit do you know how.

I tried to follow all the steps for reconstructing my dumped rom.
Its orange 1.93 of israel.
it looked like everything is doing fine, I got no weird errors and so.
I did everything by the guides here in xda.
but when I try to flash it with RUU it wont pass 0%.
I will post here a link to see if anyone else my have success with it.
so here's the link.
Please download it only if you're planning to try and check it out, so i will know what went wrong, thats because I got only 10downloads available for this file
If any of you succed to flash it, please write here or pm me so i'll ask for few questions to see that everything is really there.

How do you know this is Orange IL rom?
I know whats on the stikies and what's not. I read almost all of them.
The 0% I wrote - because the guy who tried to help me didn't tell me he dont have hardspl. so forget about it.
I couldn't find any way to check or emulate the rom to be sure of what it contains.

The big issue is to check and see its perfect..
Anyone have an actual working link for any of his roms ? When you click on any virus Rom link you get the retarded 404 error. Just wondering if someone knew of a link that actually worked for his roms ?

Thats exactly what i did but if you seee the top UK one the link is brocken and does no longer work so i was hoping someone had one on their hard drive prehaps that they could upload for me ; )
