Thanks for the great ROM. Is it possible to implement a Screen Casting / Mirroring feature in a new release that works?
Nice job, and thanks for your efforts.

The rom is very nice and functional, except that the battery drains by itself even in standby. What can be done to improve the situation? Thank you
You can try to disable the pocket mode in the crDroid settings.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system we ported some changes from Cyanogenmod and CodeAurora repos.
Please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.

Installation
First time or clean install:
Download the ROM from the link above
Download GApps package for Marshmallow 6.0 (arm64)
Download ThemeReady GApps package for MM (arm64)
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot in Recovery
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Optional: convert to F2FS
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Choose AOSP ROM zip file
Choose GApps zip file
Choose TBO GApps zip file (needed for complete theming of some Gapps with OMS overlays)
Flash
Reboot system
Update over an existing previous AOSP MM build (manual update with TWRP):
Download updated build from the link above
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot in TWRP Recovery
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Choose AOSP ROM zip file
Flash
Reboot system
NOTE: the "dirty" flash to update an existing version DO NOT NEED any new re-flash of Gapps and TBO... integrated BackupTool during rom install will backup your gapps (already installed) and restore them after rom update!
NOTE: Stable version is dex-preoptimized, so do not wipe cache and Dalvik after rom flash!
General notes
Rom is pre-rooted and has SuperSU v2.78 integrated
[*]Theming: rom has from this build the new SUBSTRATUM THEME ENGINE. Use the integrated Substratum app to apply OMS overlays (OverlaysManagerService). RRO layers will not work anymore...
[*]Theming: to apply OMS overlays to some apps, you need also to flash TBO GoogleApps-ThemeReady-arm64-LP-MM-N-v26.0.zip right after your Gapps package from recovery. This means to be clear: ROM + GAPPS + TBO

GENERAL INFORMATION ON THIS ROM
This project on AOSP code has started long time ago on our Team. Our main focus was S4 world with unified builds for most variants of GT-I9505 International phone.
Our code is open source and is located on our github's... one of them is for Aosp code.
Now is natural that members are moving to other phone models, and me and - +BB+- has pointed the Mi5.
Our code has been used for this build too, so this is why we released a STABLE version.
In our list is present the step to Aosp Nougat (already build in alpha version for S4 gsm phones)... need a bit of time and you will have here too... but before go ahead, let's fix MM code!!

Exciting to see everything that's happening now thanks to Brunos hard work!

Thank you so much.????
Hardware buttons are not functioning properly.
This has been a persistent issue even in the latest CM13 build, related to kernel.
Seems to be unique to LGD panel specific devices.

Awesome! Happy to see 10 on our old Girls. Only 1 question before I start downloading. Does this rom have a navigation bar? I killed all 3 hardware buttons a long time ago and so I can only flash ROMs that have the navbar option.
THX a lot to you, Buff and the whole team

Could anyone easily explain why kernel 3.4.112 is still used,
even though @Buff99 (in AICP and in GZOSP) and @-+BB+- (in AOSP) did ROMs on kernel 3.4.113?
.
Hello there, did I do anything wrong in installing the Rom?
1. Wiped data, cache, system, dalvik.
2. Install Rom.
3. Install Bitgapps.
4. Install Magisk 21.
5. Reboot to system.
After boot my system holds maybe 2 minutes, then always a soft reboot. Would like to test, but I can't test when the Rom doesn't run without random reboots every 2 minutes, otherwise nice work @side
This is a preview build, not a daily driver Doesnt like gapps and magisk much at this time.
Great to see active work going on bringing LOS18 to the Galaxy S4 - thanks!
Maybe someone can give me a better understanding of the following questions (which I also wanted to know already or LOS17, but never asekd):
how are the dependencies/relations between LOS18-optimized to the (hopefully later released) LOS18-official/nightly? Are these completely different branches from beginning? Or are commits from LOS-optimized-branch added later to the nightly-branch or other way round or are they completely separated?
can I switch between LOS18-optmized (if it is more or less stable) and LOS18-official (if available, or: same question I want ask for LOS17.1-optimized-vs-official) and vice versa without destroying LOS- and app-settings / need to make factory-reset?
where are exactly the differences (improvements) between official and optimized (for 18 as well as for 17.1 which I currently are using)? I guess there exists a documentation, but did not found.
is work done here for S4 / i9505 also usable by other maintainers of others S4 versions (e.g. i9515)?
if using LOS18-optimized - is there the internal updater available and working (as I know from 17.1-nightly), and from which repository it downloads the images?
Cheer, Robert
Umm... I got a problem. After installing gapps, sometimes it reboots for no reason and gliches the reboot with white bars

It is always better to test a very early stage ROM without any Gapps and Magisk. However in this case I feel it's Magisk causing the problem. Try without it (or flash Magisk after first boot), if it's still doesn't boot, also try without Gapps.
wow still alive my s4 phone keep up the good work.
Thanks....
Great Build Thanks! Keep up the great work
This is not a smartphone....This is Highlander
Since my personal android 11 rom is released ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/jdcteam-optimized-lineageos18-1-v1-0-16dec.4203927/ ) i will lock this one.

Thanks! Does this have Slim Recents?
No, I didn't find Slim Recents in the screenshots.
Please consider a request to add it.
It's much, much much better than the stock recents option.
Better than the old Omni Recents too, but I sure wouldn't mind having Omni Recents as well!

@SKULSHADY
Thank you for your great work.
I was always using HAVOC with my previous Oneplus devices and have been happy with it.
After 2 days of using I couldn't find any issue.
The only thing is, that batterie consumption might be even a little bit higher than stock 11.2.9.9.
And: My model changed from LE2120 to LE2123
Does this ROM has pixel like AOD with weather and calendar events?
