Hello Guys, As we know that one ui(full) supports build-in APP Lock but it is removed from the M series.
APP lock is available in the system but there is no Direct way to access it until now.
So to access the APP lock follow the instructions:
1. Download the quickshortcut maker from Google Play store(or any other place).
2. Open the app and look for APP lock service.
3. Expand APP lock and look for com.samsung.android applock settings AppLock Settingsactivity (Usually third from the end).
4. Open it and click on try.
5. The APP lock main ui will launch, toggle on from top right corner.
6. In app lock type you can choose your lock type(Pin/Pattern/Password) and can also Choose the option for fingerprint and Face Id.
7. Under locked apps section you can add apps which you want to lock.
8. Enjoy.

Enable Built-in Samsung AppLock in M Series:
Go to the Samsung store, install Samsung's S-SECURE app.
Now, go to Settings> Advanced features> Lock and mask apps, you can set up one method pin, password, or pattern from here.

I wanted to share this app that I have been running my Verizon Note Pro.
Note 5 goodness on the Note Pro. I tested it on my lollipop Verizon variant.
This amazing app is by @xperiacle which gives us the Screen off memo, without unlocking the screen. The lock screen pops up for just a second before the black memo screen pops up but this is as close as we are going to get to the awesomeness that is the Note 5 screen off memo. I am linking the thread so you go there and thank him and get the app.
Make sure you do the following after install:
1. Give the app security admin under settings, then security, then device admin
2. Change s pen detachment option to none.*
3. Run the app once.*
3. You are ready to go!!
I use my tablet for work a lot to take quick notes and this app works like a charm. Try and out and post your thoughts.

Are you rooted? Running Xposed?
Force screen orientation to landscape with App Settings module.
Or just install HaveOwnOrientation so kinda no matter what you have open on your screen, it will rotate anyway you turn your device to.
For me this works landscape and I believe HaveOwnOrientation makes the magic, but can't be sure.
I got Pac Man Rom and SPen isnt part of OS like TouchWiz, but as extra app can be usefull.
Guys do you know any finger print app lock for p8000??

There's no option to have shortcuts on the lockscreen if you are using any type of security lock (pattern, PIN, password). Shortcuts appear with the swipe lock, but people snoop on my phone all the time so I'm not planning to unsecure my phone anytime soon. I was wondering if there was any way to put shortcuts on the lockscreen (maybe with a flashable mod or an app), or if it's simply impossible.
Have you tried using smart lock settings? That's what I've been using.

Ah yes I forgot about that. I had been using my face as a trusted face, but I turned it off because it could never detect me in the one place that I always sit in the house! Having had a think, no one ever snoops on my phone at home, so I've set my home address as a trusted location. One problem though: the shortcuts appear but there's no option in the settings to customise them.

Remove password requirements and set to swipe for lockscreen. Change shortcuts. Change back to password or however security settings you want.

I can't change lock screen wallpaper from any other app than theme manager. Any solution??
Me too. It's strange, as google Wallpapers app seems to change it remembers your choice but the themecenter overrides afterwards.
I'm on stock Nougat.

I was talking about 3rd party apps like google wallpaper. It can change home screen wallpaper but it can't change lock screen wallpaper.

Whatever 3rd party wallpaper app you are using does give a download option. Right. Download it and then open the theme centre then go to "choose from gallery" choose the image.....

Not all apps support downloading the wallpaper. I like google wallpapers because it changes wallpaper everyday.
On my Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite 4/64 Android One 9, I can't find the way to not see the contents of WhatsApp notifications with locked screen.
I would like the screen to turn on by showing only how many WhatsApp notifications are to be read, not that they show them in full screen and content.
Is this option missing only to me or even to you? In older Android versions, in the lock screen settings, there was the possibility to also choose "Show notifications, hide contents".

Oh. It worked, with a sequence for example, the third option appeared. Is it possible to unlock the screen by just swiping it, but maintaining the notifications content hidden?

Set pin delay for x amount of time. For that x amount of time you can unlock by swiping. After the x time you have to re-enter the PIN.

Settings > Security & Location > PIN
Click on the settings icon near the PIN and then > Automatically lock and set delay. You can set max 30 mins.
Or you can just set a pattern as a easy swipe.
