Note 10+ stuck in boot loop - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

I purchased a note 10 + off ebay broken screen so I replaced the screen and a couple of ribbon cables and new charger port. But now I turned it on and its stuck in a boot loop. Only main screen comes on where it says note 10 plus 5g and then it goes to nothing and then back on again and it will continue i guess forever. But I can access the recovery boot am I screwed or is it an issue that can be fixed by a flash or firmware? Thanks

try going into recovery and flashing stock rom

Mine did that (2X) from an app conflict and I eventually got it booted into Safe mode.
See if you can pull up the boot menu and do a hard reset.
Are all the cables properly connected and connectors undamaged?

I did a hard reset from boot menu and it stayed in the loop. I cleared the cache and then reset and it stayed in the loop. When reset factory from boot it didn't even cycle through outside of boot menu it just went loop immediately. Could it be damaged board making it malfunction?

Way past my level of experience... there are people here that can help you though. Be patient.
At least it's powering up.

What version do you have? Find out. Once you do, get the firmware for your device and flash with Odin. If you are having problems getting into download mode, try to power down. Open odin on computer. Once powered down, hold volume up and down at same time as you plug device into computer. You should now be in download mode and able to flash firmware...flash BL..AP..CP...CSC

How to boot into recovery mode

i have a pretigio multipad 3270b. I was busy putting music onto my memory card when all off a sudden my screen went blank and when it came back on it was stuck on the prestigio screen the whole time. I tried all the button combination i can think of to enter the recovery mode.or clockwork mode to do a factory data resent but i don't seem to get into it, keep going to that one screen. I can get into the device at all. tried the reset button as well and still nothing. Please as anyone know how to get into that recovery mode or clockwork mode to do the factory data reset it will be truly appreciated. Thank you

Johan, I have a similar issue with my Huawei U8652 (2.3.6), I just removed the battery for a few seconds, put it back in turned it on and it worked as normal. But I too now can't do a factory reset now, phone works as normal until I turn it off and plug it in to charge or to the PC. Hopefully we'll get a solution to this, I'm thinking I may have to flash a default ROM but not sure how since my boatloader is borked.

Crazy problem with backup and then not powering back on. V500

I have the V500 on CM12.1 unofficial. Everything was fine and then I went to do a backup in TWRP. Then I looked at the restore menu but didn't do anything. I backed up to my SD Card. Then I booted back into the system, but all that came on was the back button and the notification tray and status bar. The background was black. No home button or multitask button. So I reset it a few times. Eventually I could get into the tablet but when I clicked on a app nothing opened. I then reset it again and it kept coming on with that partial screen. I tried to boot into recovery to try and restore the backup but ADB was locked and the button combination didn't work. So I decided to flash back to stock using LG Mobile Tools. Eventually I could get into download mode but when it got close to finishing to flash the software it stopped and gave me an error. After doing some hard reboots it eventually flashed the software because it would boot into the LG screen. But it was stuck in a bootloop and I've read that in order to fix that you need to do a factory reset. So I tried to boot to recovery but when I pressed and held down volume down and power nothing would happen. Sometimes it would flash the LG logo for a split second. Eventually after a lucky try the LG logo stayed on and I could boot to recovery and do a factory reset. Then everything was back to stock. But when I turn off the tablet it won't power back on unless I plug in the tablet. Battery is fine. Regular battery life it just won't turn on when I power it down without being on the charging screen.

Factory restore from bootloop or hung device without pc.

A few weeks ago, my phone rebooted and it was stuck rebooting to the att logo. I was on the road and was unable to use my phone. In frustration I tried to do a factory reset from the recovery mode.
It wiped system as its supposed to, but I was still stuck booting up to the logo screen and freezing there.
How to factory reset completely : Warning! You will lose all apps and data on phone as if you were reflashing with odin.
Boot into recovery mode (volume up + home button +power) select apply update from adb. Once started, just put your phone down and wait. It will take a little while. Then it will time out and completely wipe and restore your phone to factory.
Proceed to setup your phone as new.

Help With Complex Boot Loop

Hey everyone.
I recently just got someone's well used Note 4 because they got it stuck in a boot loop. I powered it on, it'll show the Note 4 boot screen where is shows the title of the device and the Samsung logo, shut off, and then repeat. I attempted to put it into recovery (vol+, home, and power, and when the Note 4 screen comes on, let go of power) but it continued the boot loop.
I can however put it into the custom ROM download mode, and then maintenance mode with vol-, power, and home. However, this arises MORE issues, as when I factory reset it, it made no impact, and when I attempted USB debug mode, it went back into a boot loop.
Any ideas? I've had plenty of experience with a OPO and such, but haven't touched a Galaxy phone in ages until now..
Appreciate it!
I had a similar issue with one of my droids. Consider flashing the stock recovery via Odin, make sure there's no SD card in it and as always clear cache and factory reset via recovery if possible. Good luck!

Replaced battery, now stuck in bootloop, unable to restore to factory setting.s

Hey, I installed a new battery in my device, this worked fine until earlier today where it randomly went into a bootloop. Simply keeps looping the white Google logo.
I have put the old battery back in, still same issue.
I have also attempted to restore it to factory settings by holding the power button and both volume buttons. However I only get 3 options: Start, Reload fastboot, Recovery and Turn off.
Recovery starts the bootloop again... what can I do?
You probably should try disabling two cores by flashing 4 cores boot.img...
