S20 G981B Random Vibration - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

I have had the S20 5G since 1 June and I have noticed since July random vibrations. Usually my recent apps is cleared from memory and I don't have notification reminder enabled. From July to mid August I would notice a few random vibrations ever third day. Since last update I am having a lot every day. I haven't installed any new apps since the update. Does anybody else have encounterd this issue? I have also noticed a twice as fast battery drain from my usual usage in the last few days.

Android 7.0 Bugs

I installed the Android 7.0 OTA update on my Nexus 5X 3 days ago. I've noticed a few bugs.
1. When on my work wifi the phone won't stay asleep. On LTE or my either one of my home wifi networks(one 2.4Ghz one 5Ghz) the phone sleeps fine. Prior to the update this was not an issue. I have experienced this bug before on my Nexus 5 after upgrading from KitKat to Lollipop. Maybe this isn't so much a bug with the new OS as it is a bug with the update process? It only seems to happen after a major update. It isn't a 3rd party app since no app is showing it kept the phone awake for that long. It's Android OS that had the long awake time. It was like 3 hours.
2. On each day I've had the update I have noticed that the battery status where it shows if the phone is awake, signal strength, screen on, etc it shows that the phone isn't awake at all. Even when the screen IS ON. This doesn't seem to start happening until later in the evening. In the 10 months I've had the Nexus 5X before 7.0 I saw this issue once. With 7.0 it has happened 3 days in a row on Tuesday(when I installed the update), Wednesday and Thursday.
3. When I restart the phone the "Kept Awake" time for both Android OS and "Android System" gets reset. So, because of issue #1, Android OS showed it had kept the phone awake for about 3 hours. After a restart to try and resolve issue #2 I noticed the that "Kept Awake" time for Android OS and Android System(kept the phone awake for about 8-9 minutes before restart) were just a few seconds.
4. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a bad change done on purpose but the Advanced Wifi settings that were on Marshmallow are no longer available on Nougat. Things like Wifi frequency(2.4Ghz, 5Ghz or both), always search for wifi, etc are all gone. The only "Advanced" wifi settings are "Install Certificates", "Wi-Fi Direct", "WPS Push Button" and "WPS Pin Entry". That's it. I was hoping one of these settings might help with problem #1.
Is anyone else having any of the first three issues? Anyone know of a way to get back to the settings in issue 4?

Battery drain

Hi All,
I'm an happy user of my xa1 g3112 updated with last version Android 7 40.0A.6.175
I suppose after the last update a bug has been triggered and now I'm suffering a battery drain issue
Bluetooth is continuosly eating battery in the listed application is always on top or second place
This is happening despite no devices are connetced
So far that's the list of attempt I've done to fix the issue wihtout luck:
- Reboot in safe mode
- delete all the devices paired
- restore app permission
- Disabled bluetooth scanning
- enable stamina
- as last flag bluetooth processes as not optimized
Anyone has the same exerience, any fix thanks
Stefano

Hi
You've only to reset your device. You installed an app that drains battery in the background or you've enabled something wrong.
As last chance before resetting cancel the data of Bluetooth on applications settings:highfive:
Wish could be helpful

I have the same problem,
same build but it seems to me that the problem existed before the last update, the bluetooth was used in pairing with the car to play only music.
Are there any solutions?

I've bought the smartphone in September 2017 and I didn't had the feeling I had this issue at the beginning.
Is the problem triggered by an update? Or it's present also with stock rom?
Have you the dual or single sim version?
That's really a pain the solution could be wait for oreo or rollback to the factory rom.

Any foreccast on OREO update? this could be the only one fix
Xperia XA1 big battery drain in standby after Android v8 Feb 2019 security updates
Confirm that ever since I received Nov 2018, and then Feb 2019 Android v8 security patch updates, in late Feb 2019. I have been experiencing significant extra battery drain with my Dual SIM Xperia XA1 whenever Bluetooth is enabled.
Currently I'm experiencing this on 48.1.A.2.101 (Android 8.0.0 with 5 February 2019 security patch), but believe the issue started with 48.1.A.2.73 (8.0.0 with 5 November 2018 security patch which I personally received & installed on 26th Feb 2019, Feb security patch then became available shortly after)
Has taken me a while (& I used https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm) to track down that I don't believe it's any new or misbehaving apps. And like others here I initially wondered if Bluetooth background scanning (Changed via Settings > Lock screen & security > Location > Scanning) could have been the culprit, but no that's not made a significant difference.
At the moment the only workaround I've found is manually turning on/off Bluetooth from quick actions, but before Feb updates my Xperia had excellent all day battery when in light use, frequently being at 40%+ at end of the day, now with battery drain issue I'm lucky to make 30% by 6pm, often worse!
See attached for screenshot from GSam battery monitor when I was only lightly using my phone, but only switched off Bluetooth between approx 10.30am-1pm today and the slope of battery drain is substantially different!
(I have just recently asked if the developers of that app can add a Bluetooth On/Off orange bar overlay to that graph which would makes things much more definitive to track)

''System Ui"' Battery drain on Moto Z Play Oreo update

I have recently upgraded my moto z play on oreo. Since then i have experienced battery drain via ''system ui''. It somehow has high CPU usage on foreground AND background. I have done a full wipe thru recovery but still the same. Will motorola release am update patch for this? I also have seen people in other forums using Moto z play the upgraded to OREO and they also have battery draining issues. I am also experiencing slow fingerprint. Ex. when the phone is on sleep, sometimes i have to press the scanner multiple times to register and there are also times that it does register but it takes like 1 second before the screen actually turns on, it was a LOT faster before with nougat. It has been 3-4 days since i updated to OREO and the issues have not changed. ''system ui'' is still the main culprit of my battery drain.

Moto XT1789-01 randomly shutting down since android pie update

Hello, my phone updated from oreo to pie just some days ago; since the update (PCX29.159-21, security patch from 01/06/19) it started to crash whenever y open the camera (from any app, whatsapp, stock app, instagram), sometimes random apps or games, and the last two days it slowly started to shut down (whitout any warning or message that it's shutting down, just going off like crashed) and when trying to turn it on again it says It has no battery but when I connect my charger It says like 20%. That was two days ago, yesterday It did the same but at 60% battery, today at 90% battery.
I barely can't use the phone, I don't think it's a battery problem since It happen all of a sudden and if I does not unblock the phone It doesn't crash; it's only when I'm actually using it. I tried Soft Reset, Hard Reset and Battery Calibration. I was thinking a downgrade to Oreo since I'm pretty sure it has to be some software problem whit Pie, but I read in the forums that it is not currently possible to run a downgrade.
I don't really know what to do, it's an unlocked verizon and I'm using it in Argentina, should I wait for a patch or there is other possible solutions?
