Set as default phone app

New build coming tonight or tomorrow. Will be switching from included pixel gapps to integrated gms. Please clean flash the next build. Gapps is still included, just integrated gms is smaller than pixel gapps.

Switching to xenial kernel compiled with gcc10
Posp volume panel options added
Trust hal added. Toggle USB restriction in trust settings

issue:
After turn off "always screen on" double tap not working ????

Excellent ROM! Tons of cool features. I just have one question: is it possible to get am/pm on the lock screen time? I can't find a setting for it might just be skimming over it. But anyways thanks for this. Much appreciated.
Edit: Also, is there any chance of edge sense support in the future?

I have two problems:
1. After the last google update my back cam is not working anymore! There are a lot of users having this problem but there is no solution on the stock rom atm. Is there a way to fix this?
2. I have a smart watch. The connection works fine but if I leave the range of bluetooth the phone did not connect automatically with the watch. Is there a way to enable this?

Is the squeeze fature implemented in this build, and if not, is it going to be anytime?

Rapid charging isn't working? It's either slowly charging or charging? Anyone else having this issue? And no it's not my cables. Stock charges fine. I love this ROM though! Thanks for all of the hard work!

For a successful build, I guess I need hardware/qcom/msm8998 package, but if I include it from AOSP I have the following error:

First of all big thanks for that build. Finaly, custom firmware on actual OS version!
Today installed this build on P2 and it flight normal but with some little troubles.
1. Doesn't work "Double tap to Wake"
2. Doesn't work "Lift to Wake"
3. Can't disable raising ringtone volume. This switch is placed in Settings, but doesn't work. Hope it will fix later.
Umm, think that's all.

Sometimes, there's no sound while headphones connected by 3.5mm aux on Spotify, reboot temp fix... (Solved by disabling AudioFX)

Not at all.
So I was running fagyi's build and I flashed the new official build earlier.
NFC works now and Bluetooth works a lot better with my car. Battery life is a lot better.
This is using the same kernel/device tree as LineageOS. Me and @AnierinB will update frequently.
@AnierinB got official status for Resurrection Remix and OTA support.

Doesn't reboot when I use the stock camera. I don't use social media so I can't test the other apps.

Nice to see RR back! Thanks guys. Running now, and so far it's running GREAT!

I had to re-flash the ROM after i messed something up and I did/do have one possible issue....about 10 minutes after the clean ROM re-flash, i was getting a notification that the FONTS PACKAGE had a problem, the toast referenced the xml file was missing or corrupt????, if i am not mistaken. i just caught it before the toast closed. I only had the toast pop up once and will take a log if i see it again. It may be the ROM settling in, because i have not seen it again and have changed the FONTS in . If anyone else is encountering it, we may need to get a log so Anierin can look into.

If you have a reboot issue when opening camera app, then your battery must be replaced.
But my situation is that the phone hang for 3~5 sec and then reboot :crying:

Seems headphones are not working.

i tried to follow all the steps. everything went right. i was successfully able to flash RR zip

Looks like you did not flash correct slot. Try booting the other slot ?

Yeah. I did that also.
My phone was not booting in any situation. So during this time, I did flash same rom on both slots. Still no system boot.

If not do it all again, from start to finish. Make sure you also flash disable force encryption.
Also maybe you have a corrupt download? Did you try re-download or an another ROM?

my sys config -
stock ROM is flashed on A slot and hence twrp goes on B slot.
then from twrp i flash ROMs and doesnt work. tried writing on other slot also but no boot
i guess i am messing something here in this slot game.
can you suggest please, i never liked asus stocked roms. and boot issue has kept me away from custom roms

Join the telegram group for more details. Basically you're missing a step somewhere. If you can get to twrp then the last few steps are simple. You should also flash vbmeta and disable force encryption. Then it's all straightforward (relatively)

can you tell me how to get boot.img file for RR. i need to root it via magisk, hence requiring boot.img file to patch from magisk.

some minor bugs & my observations
1. fast charging is not working as fast as on stock (any solutions?)
2. i have got fingureprint enrollment issue. (fingureprint gestures are working) screenshot attached

There is only one loudspeaker is available on ysl..(i think) but two vents are given..i think its for aesthetics or extra sound output from both grill

hmmmm iirc it is both working on my recent rom and in MIUI roms too since YSL is a stereo speaker afterall, guess i do a nandroid backup and check it out for myself.
oh and one things, when the device is lowbat (15% below battery), the LED notif. light won't stop blinking, and i try finding the function on it on settings and i seems can't disable it.
overall, the UI is smooth, no huge drains, camera is pretty nice already even with stock, and its pretty smooth on gaming too. :fingers-crossed:

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

why do you say that any particular issue?
Also you can use custom launcher if you dont like the default one

I want to know wheather this rom supports wifi calling. I fed of using stock ROM ASUS didn't pushing OTA update for wifi calling.

Hi, I have succefully flashed the Rom for Asus Zenfone 5Z, but I have 2 problema: 1) when I connect a bluetooth earphone I can see the icon in the status bar, but when I play music or video, the audio don't switch t the earphone; 2) I have tried several times to flash a Gapps, a version Mini or Mirco or Nano o Micro, but when the flash ends succefully and I reboot the system, I don't see Gapps, how can I do?

is it possible to make this build SELinux permissive? I read from the telegram channel that one cannot change said setting previously, because it breaks some stuff in the ROM.

Nope please don't change it to permissive as it breaks the camera and other safety stuff.

Clean flash from unofficial to official please. Dirty works however but you might run into a few issues.

which base firmware do i need to flash this over? i didn't see it specified in the description , just LOS. i only ask because most 10 roms are either one of the two, but doesn't work on both.

The FW is included in the ROM file. You do not have to flash separately. Also the FW is 10.0.0-Hotfix one.

Ideally not, but if you never flashed the Hotfix or open beta 10.0.3 then you should once. Else if you had ever then not needed.

Directly flashing rom with or without gapps on clean slate(format data) works without having to flash any oos stuff.
