[Q] Insufficient space (Google Play)

Hi Folks,
Most of you will think 'This is a easy one' but I'm pulling my hair on this.
I'm trying to install Swiftkey from Google Play store, and it always tells me that I have insufficient Space on my device.
To avoid all those stupid questions in front, I do have enough space and could proove it with a output of df:

So this is my current mount set.
I should have more than enough space to install this app (it's about 15M).
Is there any folder Google Play has to write to which isn't already on my external SD ?
I could see the files being downloaded into /data/data/com.android.providers.downloads/cache but when trying to install it always says it doesn't have enought mem
Anyone got a Solution for this ?
BTW: CM 10.1-20131024-NIGHTLY-anzu @ 4.2.2 + 3.4.67-nAa+ Kernel

Ok fixed it by downloading the APK via playstore (Chrome Plugin) and installed it with the following command in adb shell:

pm install -s com.touchtype.swiftkey.apk

Low Memory

i keep geeting a message on scren saying low memory storage and asking me to delete some apps but i have 2.5gb free memory after deeing several apps, anyone have any ideas?

come on folks 30 views and no replies, surely some1 can help

Have you tried rebooting after removing some apps?
Try entering the following
from adb

It should return a table showing you how much space you are using & give you an idea of what is triggering the msg

Hey!
My Mi 5S doesn't wake !!
at first device restarts and stuck's in boot animation
after a while(about 2 week) device turns off and doesn't wake (connects as Qualqomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008)
I tried many ways but no success comes!!

I think there is a problem with device storage and i need to format it and then flash with mi flashtool(maybe wrong)
can anybody help me to get my phone back?

thats a simple way to flash your device. search for methods without breaking the cable.

I can flash device with mi flashtool but error log is something about UFS partition
I'll test that method too but for real I'm not in EDL mod??

EDL doesn't work with locked bootloader. Is it unlocked?

So there is no way to flash your phone with MiFlash by EDL. Only way is deep flash. Try it

You can also use another method without cutting your cable. i used this method successfully. check this out

Try miflash beta, It should work in edl mode.

seems Xiaomi deleterd edl mode in Miui 8.1 and above so we cant flash in edl mode
also i tried miflash beta before and same result

i have exact the same Problem with my mi5s. No edi works an no deep flash cable. When i corss green an ground. denn put in then release it comes online (usb ...9008) but cant flas (no beta version from miflash no oder version) Same with the tread owner.
Have anyone another idea ?

device internal storage was broken . thats why i cant flash to it

Bricked Redmi Note 5 (Global Version)

-Locked bootloader
-Can't access Recovery (blank screen)
-Can connect to pc and detect as Qualcomm 9008 mode (via Testpoint)
-Tried different MiFlash (BETA and Stable)
-Tried the QPST Methond (got some errors)
- Flashing EDL ACK count Don't Match
-Unauthorized to Download errors.
I really need some help on this, been months on dealing on this phone for a while.
Any other necessary steps that I need to do to unbrick this phone?

The best way to deal is contact customer care.

Tried it but they said that they only cater Philippine IME units but this unit is from Cambodia; they won't even try to touch it.
Even so the store I've bought it directly told me to change it's Mother Board without even checking it on the PC nor troubleshoot it for firmware change (to note the Phone is depreciated to a full working unit at this time).
Not gonna lie this Xiaomi unit is a nightmare to deal with.

Mi A2 Lite hard bricked?

Sorry for my english and if i have made some forum errors, it's my first post
hi guys, i think i've hard bricked my daisy :crying:
I have followed this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/guide-install-magisk-proper-support-ota-t3836952 from 10.0.3.0 firmware, but after the update to the 10.0.9.0 magisk wasn't installed, so i have booted the offain's twrp, i have backupped the boot img and i have installed magisk on it. Then i've reboot into fastboot mode and tried booting it, but after some minutes i think it was on bootloop, so i've force rebboted the phone into fastboot mode, meanwhile I had seen the crdroid and wanted to try it, then, following this guide https://github.com/tkchn/daisyinstall/blob/master/README.md i've reflased the 10.0.3.0 stock rom.
so far so good, now the "bad" part begins:
the phone reboot, the configuration page appears but when i try tapping on it the screen go black (but still on), i try re tapping o block the device but nothing, only after a long press on the power button the configuration page reappears, but only for a second, and immediately black again.
so, i' ve thought that it's a bad installation and i did the procedure again (reboot into fastboot e reflash all).
then, when the terminal on pc was installing the stock rom, i was watching some screens of the crdoid, and i watch the phone screen that is turned off, so i look the terminal and it say that the procedure is completed: but the phone doesn't work, it don't start even the charging LED does not light up. the led only turned on for a second, then nothing. I have already tried with a different charger and with an other phone.

so is it possible to fix it? can edl mode work?

There's nothing odd I can see in that output.
From your description, it sounds like a "first boot" step is having a problem. Any log from that is lost (need adb, can't get that until after you finish initial setup).
If you can't get to fastboot then I think there's an EDL thing that can help. The few times I caused issues with my phone it always went to fastboot and flash_all fixed things.
Maybe start it up without a sim card? Network registration would happen when you turn on.

so far so good, now the "bad" part begins:
the phone reboot, the configuration page appears but when i try tapping on it the screen go black (but still on), i try re tapping o block the device but nothing, only after a long press on the power button the configuration page reappears, but only for a second, and immediately black again.
so, i' ve thought that it's a bad installation and i did the procedure again (reboot into fastboot e reflash all).
then, when the terminal on pc was installing the stock rom, i was watching some screens of the crdoid, and i watch the phone screen that is turned off, so i look the terminal and it say that the procedure is completed: but the phone doesn't work, it don't start even the charging LED does not light up. the led only turned on for a second, then nothing. I have already tried with a different charger and with an other phone.

so is it possible to fix it? can edl mode work?
can it be for antirollback? I hadn't noticed because the first time I downgraded I was in 10.0.8.0, with 10.0.9.0 maybe it didn't work?

Have you tried to change slot?
A/B-devices have all partitions double... (except persist and data). If one partition in a slot is broken, just change to the other slot and it should boot again.
Just boot offrains twrp go to reboot and change to b if you are on a or oppositionally...

there is a new:
i have removed the sim and the sd card, i left the phone on the table all day and now if connect it to the charger or if i press the power button the LED flashes, but it still does not turn on and does not enter fastboot mode, and adb & fastboot do not recognize it.
I haven't looked in device manager yet because I'm on linux, now I start windows and let you know

On Linux, check dmesg after plugging the phone in.
But it sounds like a brick. EDL with a cable is likely the only possible fix now. But you've got to open the phone up.

Can it get to fastboot? Maybe a fastboot/miflash now will help?

after that i leave the phone and now i had retried in linux (my intention was to see the specific error and googling about it) but it starts the flash. but now it's stuck on "sending sparse 'system_a' 4/4 (493404 KB)..."

The stock flash_all script writes every partition, including the duplicate A/B partitions.
I have seen reports that EDL flashing (needs MiFlash) can recover phones that fastboot flashing cannot. Maybe search for info on that?
