Bypassing "Can't Take Screenshot due to security policy" - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Hello,
Anyone knows any way to bypass this and take screenshots?
I actually want to make a screenshot of my banking app but it won't let me...
Thank you!

You have to search into the settings of you banking app. There you will find an option which says something like "allow taking screenshots". Enable this and that's it.

if the app gives the option.. most dont

I am in Germany and most of them here give the option, but I have no idea how it is in other countries. If the app doesn`t support screenshots i think there is nothing you can do.

You need to be rooted to do so. There's a module called "Disable Flag Secure". After that you can take screenshot in any app.

just use another mobile to take a pic of your current screen. that's what i usually do

I wouldn't meddle with it. It's for your protection and your banking account security.
If you want to screen shot as proof of transaction, usually after the transaction you can download the receipt in pdf.

Let me snap a pic of your bank information

Just tested with ( Firefds Kit [R] LSPosed app) and it works fine with me ,
What i did is enabled the option ( Secure Flag), and now i can take screen shots.

For so long everyone is looking for Disable Flag Secure Magisk Module. But can't find it anywhere. Earlier Xposed Module was released. This is the first time I brought the Disable Flag Secure Magisk Module. By flashing it you can take screenshot...

For me It appears only when accessing the app i blocked permissions. I know its annoying still and i think in EMUI2.0 they would provide option to turn that reminder off.

Yes, the apps with some permissions blocked. But maybe I do not want some apps to acces my location, for example. Let's say it's the only permission blocked on that app, and still for this one permission that reminder appears. Thanks for your reply but I think it is a useless reminder, ok maybe remind once or twice but not always, or like you said, an option to disable it.

I know. On the feedback survey i mentioned this and i think they listened. From the screenshots of emui2.0 i see that they put a tab option where remind is just optional. So gotta wait for that, or port it from the rom of Honor 3c

Screen Shot any Screen

Does anybody know of an app that will allow our rooted Pixels and Pixel XLs to capture any screen - including ones like bank app screens, pharmacy app screens, etc.? I think I had this on my HTC 10, but maybe it was accomplished via XPosed. Thanks!

Apologies. I only just realised now when I tried on a credit card app.
Yep. One of my recent phones had development for an app that would capture anything. Pharmacies, credit cards, banks, etc. won't work with the normal process.
I would never take this risk.. if you allow and app to take screenshots of sensitive apps the can virtually steal all your information as your giving it overlay permissions. There is a reason why is not allowed. And I wouldn't recommend you use a third party app and give them the power to look over all your sensitive information..

I understand the risk. I'm not talking about doing this on a daily basis. It's just handy NOT to have the limitation. It has been done, and I think I used it on my HTC 10. Maybe it was via Xposed like I said earlier. What's the likelihood we can do Xposed on the Pixels soon?

Well if you can't remember what it was I'd research it first.
It will be awhile for Xposed to be updated for this device so don't count on it.

It was an xposed module
I believe the flag is FLAG_SECURE
We need to find a way to disable that flag system wide

Face Unlock Alternative?

Since Google has removed Face Unlock from the Pixel 3 and 3XL is anyone aware of an alternative app that would work?
I recommend you the magisk module called "Google Face Unlock".
It adds the Trusted Face option in Smart Lock and works like a charm but if someone have another alternative I'll take it. I hope it can help you !
I also want alternative because trusted face is removed from smart lock

I tested the Magisk module but it doesn't work for me unfortunately

How do you do that? Sorry about the noob question, but I haven't really modified my phone in YEARS! Unfortunately with PIXEL 3, that's changed... I already miss previous pixels and nexus!!
It doesnt work and also i dont want to root because of banking apps

It's working, but it's not auto unlock the screen. You have to swipe up after your face is recognized.
U have to root ur phone with Magisk and then simply flash the Module. It's stated to be for 8.1 but it's working on 9.0 as well.

Rooting with Magisk hides root from banking apps and Google pay. We all use it these days.

Not all. Chase doesn't work with root any longer, even after following several steps to hide, at least for me. I've read that it's hit or miss.

You have to follow the guide to root your phone in the "GOOGLE PIXEL 3 XL GUIDES, NEWS, & DISCUSSION" section, it's really well explained. Then you just need to flash magisk then install the module called "Google Face Unlock".

You must have done something incorrectly. I have a pixel 3 rooted and I use Chase, PNC, old national, Citi, and Huntington and I've never had a problem.
I installed the Magisk module and now the Face Unlock app is installed. However there is no UI, there's not even the Smart Lock section in settings, probably because I don't have GApps installed (which is why I needed the Magisk module in the first place).
Is there a different standalone APK/zip in order to enable Smart Lock or to otherwise setup Trusted Face?

Hmm w/e. I'm just trying to be polite. I don't want to stop using DNS66 as it's a good adblocker app. You've got a similar app ?

CCSWE App Manager Problem

Hey all,
I hadn't launched my CCSWE app manager for a few days so I did and it prompted me to activate Samsung Knox. I tapped on Activate but it gives me error and I can't proceed to manage apps.
Also, I tried uninstalling but it says I need to deactivate first.
I assume disable it?
Any fix for this? Isn't Samsung Knox supposed to be activated?
Thank you

I sent a mail to the developer and support page but there is no response so far..

Hello guys,
I found a way to solve part of the problem ... You need to reinstall the same version of CCSWE APP MANAGER via apk, that way, all applications and services modified by it return to their original state. However, the Samsung knox problem remains in the application and it is not yet possible to use it.
I hope this helps!
It is obvious that Samsung revoked the developer's commercial activation key...
Cat and mouse game - that's what's going on here.

Maybe they’ve updated some of Knox’s security policy terms that no longer fit the app’s membership terms.
But I'm not sure.
or they decided they dont want an app using their apis to disable apps/features on the device
Yep mailed to the developer and got same response mail that deactivated their license. Waiting for a solution or an alternative app.
Package disabler pro still seems to work ok. Yes the developer is a bit of a money grabber with all the new versions but it does work.
Failing that the adb route will work.
