Hello everyone, I am from Australia and love my new Black Shark 3, everything is GREAT except i am unable to get MMS messaging. I have tried to update the APN according to Optus but to no avail. Can anybody please help

Hey, so after a lot of back and forth with Xiaomi Australia, the issue has since been resolved and patched in the latest version of MIUI, so update your device to the latest build, and if that doesn't fix it, you'll have to wait a couple of weeks until they release a new update for your device/variant of ROM.
Just chiming in to say that I have the same issue on the Xiaomi Poco M3 on Vaya mobile (Optus). Hoping a firmware update fix comes along soon!

I am up and running, finally got MMS working beautifully.
Spoke to the Optus One team member referred me to a Dennis in Technical who fixed the issue. I asked how he advise he had to turn off MMS on my account then turn it back on, reset my phone and the WOLLA!!! up and running

Call Optus for help, forget Xiaomi!!!!

Wow, okay. Was MMS working on any other phones before? I kinda doubt this is something on Optus's end, although I guess it is possible... I still can't get it to work on my Poco M3.

I am using Sharp SH-06E and below is the update from the Seller regarding upgrades:
"The Docomo software updates cannot be done on the phone unless connected to Docomo network
Only the Android OS files can be downloaded from Sharp's site after they are released for the next version OS

I had a chat with the Seller i bought my Sharp phone from and there is ab app that can be used to update.
UpAny(SHARP OTA outside Japan)
Use this app and update the phone.
NOTE: I upgraded successfully and the only change I see is the Build number change from 1.0.0.6 to 1.0.0.10
Android version and Kernel version are still the same

i am using the docomo x sh-06E outside the japan, its perfect in all ways but issue which i am facing is that the Conference Call/ Multi call (3 or more callers in same time) featured is no enable, pertinent to mentioned here that the said service has been activated by the provider, and its working properly in other handsets.

Been waiting for update to Android 7.0 since the news been spread on XperiaBlog and XDA, but still no official release for 1299-6237 (HK Version). Hence, a question arise: Are there additional certifications that apply to HK ROM version that it takes so long for an update, or is there is another reason for it? Also, any idea when to expect the update then? Thanks for help in advance!

you can take the Indonesia or India version... since HK , the last update was .305 / oct2016 ... i am not sure why the stopped pushing for HK
Thanks for reply! I know I can manually flash it, but to be honest, with device like this I cannot be bothered (and frankly not many people do, as pretty much no development going on). I am more reliant on OTA or Companion updates as I do not want to lose my data. Hence it owuld be nice to know if someone would have an explanation for such nonsence really.
I was in the same boat as you. I bought my Z5p dual off of Amazon and received an HK version. I've been waiting for a Nougat update and could wait no longer. I updated using the russian update file and can confim that everything works and no bugs to report. Also no data was lost and my phone language remained in English post update. Should you change your mind...
But to contribute to your question, according to the Experia blog there appears to be a relatively big update coming in April to fix a couple of the Nougat issues with sound some users were reporting. That could be why they halted rollouts again.
Friends, I received my second mi 6 today (I sold the first one) and from what I've been reading about it, it does not come with Shop rom, anyway, my first came with a previous version to that one, and it received update (even so I installed The global stable by mi tools).
Well, I do not want to change roms because it's already launching the 9 and I have a 3mb radio internet, I'm just going to switch if it's a Shop, which I do not think is it! Apparently it's working okay, can you send photos or print the version you're using? Just for me to compare here ?!

Hello everyone! I live in Ukraine and bought my Razer Phone at a local store, but after the purchase I discovered that this is a Three version (a big "3" logo on boot). As far as I know, physically the device is 100% identical to the regular version sold on Amazon and RazerStore, if it is not - please correct me. As I understand, it isn't locked for a certain operator. Are there any differences in the 3UK firmware except the delays in updates and logo at startup? Is it possible to install a stock Razer Global firmware? If so, is it worth doing it?

3UK have been 1-2 weeks behind on getting MR1 and MR3 released compared to the offical Razer images. MR2 went live for non branded phones but had some bugs so 3UK skipped this update.
I belive razer fixed those bugs in MR3 and then 3UK took this stable build and tweaked it for their network before sending it out to their customer a week or so later along with the MR3 patch notes and just inculded the working bit of that update in their MR3.
Images are found here but id get advice from others as this is my 1st Android phone and still running the 3UK branded phone as im on their network.

Do you think that there are some tweaks for their network? I'm asking because only one of my two SIM cards works with my phone, both of them are not 3UK.
all three UK's phones are supplied unlocked anyway only change from stock I believe is 4g supervise and the logo

In the guides section there is a guide for "debranding a 3 UK handset". It involves flashing global mr1 software and taking the OTA to MR3. People in that forum swear by it. Start there.

Not sure what's going on but I'm not getting any updates whatsoever. I tried checking manually but to no avail. I also tried downloading the Huawei HiSuite App, there are software updates under my model number but it's saying it's not approved. WTH's going on? Does anyone have info on this?

Its random it seems. I just got it yesterday. Someone else on this forum said they got it last week but their wife didnt get it until this week even though they bought their phones at the same time and live in the same location. So there is no pattern it seems when it comes to the rollout.

I did a little research and B101 builds are not getting anything at all. Our security patch is still Oct 2017. And other builds, though not getting updates at the same time, still managed to get something. I don't wanna root and go to that route but after Q1 and still no updates, I'll probably do it.
B102 same situation.. I think moderators should get all this topics in the same.. because they are everywhere in the forum
I have L24 US version of Honor 7X. It was stuck at firmware B101. Always said "No update". Customer support could not help. I had a ATT Mexico SIM in it. As soon as I changed the SIM to T-Mobile US, it found updates B130 and B140. So update depends on SIM.
I also bought another Honor 7X that had already B130 and put in Movistar Mexico SIM and it found right away update B140. So it may be that only B101 needs a US Sim to update.
I hope this helps other people who are still stuck at original firmware B101.

I updated to BND-L21xxxxB102XXX
but no updates after that...
in hisuite & firmware finder both app, there are updates for the device but it says not authorized for installation.

I have the same problem. My Phonemodel is BND-21. Also on the back. I bought my device from Amazon.de. The huawei- support says, that the phone is from Spain. I'm in Austria. Next week I will talk to the support again and ask why I don't get updates.
If I have some time I'll make a factory reset and check for updates.

I'm now seeing a fullOTA update thru firmware finder for Orea and it's approved for installation, however, it's saying download fail to me.
I'm getting fed up.
