Perfomance
Using My phone with 4.4.2 for about 2 days,I must say the overall smoothness and fluidity as compared to 4.1.2 has been greatly improved. Stability of the system has been increased, no lag at all.. as far as the benchmarks goes, I have been getting low scores as compared to 4.1.2(samples in attachments)
Battery
You can say that Battery timing has been improved in kitkat, I managed to get almost 4 and a half hour of screen on time whereas on jellybean I usually got maximum 4 hours with the same usage(samples in attachments)
I think that the Camera has also improved..
One more thing Battery Gets charged quickly as compaed to 4.1 with same charger..
I have not yet rooted my phone or installed any thing to save battery and during testing ECO mode was not enabled.

And I also forget to mention that the phone standby has also been improved, I left my phone over night and when I woke up only 1% was lost. I think its great!!:laugh:

please put a screenshot from the laucher. (not drawer) , and from the keyboard. i find the keyboard very ugly.. and the launcher icons (the doc) way to up...
and what theme do you use? because i see changed icons ^^ .

Well more than knock off i was interested in having knock on feature to turn the screen on...because it's a pain to turn the screen on every time by pressing the power button which is oddly located and i am wary of it breaking it sometime due to the constant use...

I think the theme is MoonShine G3 from Lg G2 forum and thanks Will put launcher and keyboard screenshot, you are right the keyboard is kind of ugly..

Can confirm, no 2g only 3g and automatically (4g also i guess, can t test)
Battery is ok, but mp decission is pretty confused, sometimes al 4 cores online without doing anything. Let s hope final build will work as it should.

hmm..aparently if you swipe up at the doc there is some application that let you launch others apps. can you identify in system/app what is her name? maybe if we delete/disable the doc will go down where it belongs..

yes. how can we delete that s**t? maybe the doc will go down if we delete. i mean..i saw in ui ..for example after i made some cleaning in system/app ..that the task manager window went down. (long press home) ... like it should.

Just make sure you are rooted and change the (Border Calibration->Touch Device Resolution) on the app "Device Setup screen" and i recommend to move the app to system app after installed using (Magisk App Systemizer).
I will share my gestures settings, and please if any one has a good gestures settings share it with us.

I'm using this app more than 5 years without issue..
On OP6T after using it for 24 hrs about ..phone start to lagging and getting strutters on scrolling ...
Only a reboot fix the issue...
Multiple users they report the same issue on GMD...& OP6T
disable also battery optimization...
Didn't useit as system app but i dont believe that make any difference...

You can check the original thread comments on the last 2 pages, there is no issues if you make it a system app

I don't know what is the difference, but I'm sure there is no issues faced me,
maybe the (modify system settings) permission or the (Device Setup/Override Touch Device) that makes the difference for me,

I've pushed the gmd to system with app systemizer & have no lag issues anymore..

nice, I'm so glad to see this, and if you have a good gusters settings/suggestions/tips, share a screenshots if you don't mind.
Note: after testing i noticed that if you changed the gusters settings or any settings multiple times this will cause some lagging, and you must (CLEAR CACHE) of the application not the (STORAGE) just CACHE and force stop and re-open the app,
So finally, Huawei has released the new EMUI 9.1 for the P20 lite! In this thread I will be doing a full review of this update. This will include: performance, battery life, UI, bugs & other things.
1) Performance
Personally, I feel like the performance is terrible now. The phone boots up faster and gaming works smoother: PUBG Mobile used to run at like 15-20fps with some lag spikes here and there, now it runs at 30+fps without random lag spikes! These are the settings used: graphics = balanced, style = realistic. These are the highest settings we can use on the P20 lite, but since this works so well they might bump it up to HD settings. This is due to the new GPU Turbo update. There was one before, but this one makes bigger changes. I do feel like the RAM usage is higher, though. The system itself is actually very laggy and the camera is unresponsive.
Update: After updating to 9.1.0.200, the lag has finally been fixed!
2) Battery Life
The battery life is better too. On EMUI 8.0 I had ~8 hours of SoT, which has increased to ~10 hours! That means 2 hours better battery life, which is 25% more.
3) User Interface
The UI has also got an overhaul. The notification panel is now white instead of black, we got a new task manager, a new font on some places, rounded squared icons, new icons in settings, a new recovery & a new boot screen (only difference is the 'E' in the Huawei logo). I personally really like this, but this is ofcourse up to your personal preference. What I am missing here is a dark theme. Not all dark themes will work like they should, but I'll get back on it on the bugs section.
4) Bugs
So there's one small bug: the themes. Normally if you apply a theme your icons from the notification bar should change too. This isn't the case anymore. It's not the fault of the 9.1 update (it's been here since the November security patch), but Huawei told some people that it should be fixed in 9, which it clearly isn't. Here's an example: on this theme, before the November patch, the statusbar icons would be the same as on stock Android, which isn't the case anymore. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=emui.en.com.gpix2&hl=en_US it's not a big issue, but it can be annoying for some people (including me). Also the font colors don't change properly, this can be annoying for dark themes, because then you get black fonts on a black background, which you can barely read. Normally the fonts will change to a color depending on the theme.
5) Other things
One of the other changes is in the notch. Now, most apps actually stretch into the notch, instead of it having black bars next to it. Unfortunately, there's no option to change this, but some people including me actually prefer it like this.

Edit 05-06-2019: There actually is a way to hide the notch for specific apps if you don't want it shown in fullscreen apps: Go to settings > display > show more options > notch > custom and hide notch for the apps you wanna hide it from. Sorry if the names are different, I translated it from my language to English.
about 5): it annoyed me seeing that problem especially in YouTube when the notch suddenly is in the way of 18:9 videos. One fix for it is if you go into the settings for the notch and black out the space around it. I don't think it looks as pretty but the video won't be intruded so it's a fix for me atleast

Actually, I just found a fix. Go to settings > display > show more options > notch > custom and hide notch for YouTube. Sorry if the names are different, I translated it from my language to English.

As I'm aware, it seems like Huawei phones with LCD displays don't have dark mode. Quite disappointing, hopefully they'll add it for us as well.

For me there is not. You can install a theme from the theme store, but they are glitched (still dark though).

Pretty sure it wasn't 60fps. But as if it felt like 60fps. I'm pretty sure games on this chipset and on this display are maxed out at 30fps.

Well tbh there in no information about gpu turbo 3.0 in this update.But Yeah The Phone Is Reacting Faster Than Before.Apps And Scrolling is faster.But I Cant find any change while playing.Its Same As before.I think it didn't came. i think even Gpu turbo 2.0 didnt came.

Well it seems like your phone is lagging during intense gaming.Well i suggest some method to increase gaming performance:
1.Restart your device before playing heavy games
2.Close all background app
3.Delete all so called Ram cleaner apps because they don't improve but worsen the condition. Android is very efficient os it can automatticaly clear ram when necessary.
4.Well it might be an software issue,So please upgrade your phone through OTA update,it might can help you.
5.If none of this thing works do a factory reset.
6.If nothing works go to service center.

I am having a similar problem, and I am not sure what is it caused by. Please help me as well.

I got this new phone yesterday, overall it's pretty good, but i noticed something weird, when playing games, specially shooters where you need presicion it doesn't have a good response to small movements,
it's like having high deadzones with a analog stick from a controller, it doesn't recognizes position changes of the finger immediately after the start of its movement.
i have to pass a couple milimeters of distance from the initial position to the next to register, i haven't seen much people talk about this but some people say that it is a phone issue, others say it's a miui or rom issue, i seriously want to root the phone to test other roms, but i don't want to lose the warranty right now so i want to make sure if i can do something i didn't do.
My poco x3 nfc didn't have that issue, but i sadly can't do comparisons because it's not longer working.

(EDIT) i fixed it! it was just to manually adjust some settings in game turbo, this was getting through my nerves, please watch this video if you have the same issues.
I have the same problem with that, but i tried a lot of roms and fixes for that nothing helped.
If you really need only in game's, i found a solution of small movement via gyroscope, maybe that could help you.
This sucks... Yeah i use gyroscope to do these small movements for now.
Do you have the same phone? I'm thinking of returning it, but i still don't know if this one i got is a bad unit or all poco f3 suffers from this. I'm still thinking what is the best thing to do.

what did you do in game turbo?
You have to adjust touch settings manually for every game and set it exactly like this, if you don't know where to find this watch the video i linked in the post

Pro mode for some reason sucks i don't know exactly why, it feels really bad but maxing these three options make it feel perfect.
Dont use Pro mode, just go into custom and to like the guy said on video.
I don't recommend you to change any of those touch settings.it becomes more choppy. Just disable swipe to screenshot feature.

Hey guys, i fixed this problem with clearing all data of "battery and performance" and this enables 120fps in cod mobile and i dont have latency with touch. Try it, it will solve all your problems.
