Has anyone found an emulator that works on WFS every one i try just fore closes or there is problems please help if yo ucan....>?
If you mean game emulators then nesoid gensoid snesoid all work amazingly with no problems just Google it.
I play them with my zeemote Bluetooth controller when I'm out or with wii mote indoors.
PS Mario is amazing.
Note: for downloading rom's you must own the original of that game by law.
Good luck
Hi!
I have been playing a lot of emulators on PC during the years. But is right now thinking of buying an Xperia Play, because I understand that it´s quite a nice phone. It´s on quite a sale in scandinavia right now, so I might be getting one during the week.
I would however like some input for some questions, and would be thankful if someone would take their time to answer them for me.
1. I have problems finding a reliable compatibility list for PSX-gaming. Three of the games that I really itch to play are "Alundra", "Final Fantasy Tactics" and "Legend of Mana". Can someone please enlighten me how these games will run on a Xperia Play?
2. I also have a question about other emulators. Will SNES & Genesis-emulators run lag-free on an Xperia Play?
Thank you for reading (and maybe answering) .
The Xperia Play is really awesome for playing games in emulators. The only problem is that most of them don't support the touchpad.
These are the emulators I've tried:
NESoid
SNESoid - completely lag-free, to answer your question
N64oid (sometimes a bit laggy)
GBCoid - gameboy color emulator
GameBoid - GBA emulator
FPse - PSX emulator
Unfortunately neither of these support the touchpad. And for PSX games I actually prefer FPse to the official PSX emulator that comes with the Play, because, while the official one supports the touchpad (very nicely, might I add), it is a bit buggy with most games that aren't available officially for it.
not sure about genesis as i haven't tried it yet. snes is no problem as is gameboy/advance/colour. on the psx side of things, you could try fpse or psxdroid for emulators. you would need the roms for those games you want as well as the bios file. or, you could also convert the roms of those games to work via the play's playstation pocket app. the pre-installed crash bandicoot game will give you an idea of how smooth it is once converted using the psxperia tool.
This is a magnificent device for emulators. Nuff said

I have emulators for Yongzhi's emulators for:
-Gameboid - GamBoy Advance
-SNEWSoid - Super Nintendo
-Gensoid - Genesis
-FPse - PSX
-N64oid - N64
And they all work flawlessly and are availble at the SlideMe market for FREE except for the N64 and PSX emulators. The PSX emulator is avaible on the Android Market and works on a lot of games but of course not all of them. I would suggest you visit the FSpe forum to find out which specific games work for the Play.
The N64 emulator is available from the SlideMe market for I think 2 bucks. I works okay with some games but is still be updated. Also u can try the open source one but I forget what it's called. I think it's on the XDA forum somewhere.

Your best bet is to Flash a GB rom and see if there's any change in game play performance. ICS is game crippling.

I use Snesoid, so if snesoid is failing I'd imagine everything else would be equal or less in performance
Snes9x EX works brilliantly, and best of all it's still being updated (sadly not on Google Play though). Here's the site: http://www.explusalpha.com/home/snes9x-ex

but i've checked super mario RPG with that ( one month ago ) , it couldn't run that game smoothly , full of lag . is there any option on that to improve the game performance ? like "c Core" on snesoid ?
can you please let m eknow the best settings for super paper mario ?
I think the best solution would to go to Gibgerbread
Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch w/ Stock 4.0.4
Xperia Play R800X w/ supercharged stock 2.3.3 and doomkernel
Have you tried with Super Gnes? It runs fine but the audio crackles sometimes.

I'm actually running a earlier version. Of this. EMU. and I don't have any lag. But at the same I am using the wiimote function because the button on the screen don't respond well

yeah , i've tried super Gnes , nut that one is not as good as snesoid ( even on GB ) .
so , i think there is not a good emulator for ICS ! that can run super mario RPG as well as sensoid(on GB )
thanks all ,
for the reason like this , i always think thank ICS ia somethings like windows Vista , useless
i hope jelly bean can be a windows 7 ...

I've thought the same thing! GB is like Windows XP, stable and still frequently used by many. ICS is like Vista, full of lag and bugs. JB is like Windows 7, improving upon ICS and fixing the vast majority of issues and performance.

The game has mappable controls so I see no reason why the wouldn't work with the Nvidia Shield. Its an awesome game that has been ported to many platforms including the Dreamcast and GP2x.

Interesting, I hadn't heard of this one. I've been hoping Paintown would release a new Android version, but I'm not sure what the development status is on it (they had an android version at one point, but wanted to switch to different underlying libraries to provide better support or something).

Dude this brings me back, I haven't heard of or played BOR since the PSP homebrew days, thanks xD
Sent from my SHIELD using Tapatalk
I use OpenBOR on shield and I can confirm it works fine. Just grab the last version available which is pretty old but it works fine.

This is great. Thank you. It works well on my m8. After i root my shield I'll be installing it. Now that hyperspin is available for Android, i can run it from there!
Does anyone know how i can remap the keys? It does not work with the shield controller. Only the directional and one button which access sound samples work. Using the keyboard works. I cannot find a settings file anywhere.
I have tried different game hacking apps such as sb game hacker, game killer, and xmod games and they do not work on the cm 12 I currently have installed. Is there any that are compatible with lollipop?
Little help for you
The only hacker I've found that works on a few games such as mkx and real racing 3 and csr racing. Is lucky patcher 5.7.3 I believe or whatever else newest is it worksworks for those select for sure I can't get it to work on any others
