The update, previously announced by Tansu Yeğen as the 2nd weekend of February, has been delayed by one day and was published on Monday, February 13th! The Android 7.0 Nougat update to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge models, announced shortly before January, was announced a few days ago by Samsung vice president of Turkey, Mr. Tansu Yeğen, with the announcement of the end of February 2nd weekend. Apparently, due to minor flaws, the update, which is one more day late, finally came to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge models in Turkey on Monday, February 13, 2017! Although the 1.4 GB size of the update device is about 1.2 GB, S7 and S7 Edge users in Turkey have also reached the Android Nougat update.
According to Tansu, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge + and Galaxy Note 5 will be available for Android Nougat this week and Galaxy S6 Edge will be updated this week. The 2016 model Galaxy A series will be distributed in May, Android Nougat will be brought to 2016 models of the Galaxy J series in July. Galaxy S5 series and Note 4 will not come with updates.
Again according to Tansu Yeğen's announcement, Android 7.0 Nougat update;
- Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will arrive at the end of 2nd week of February.
- By the end of the 3rd week of February, Galaxy S6 will come to Galaxy S6 Edge + and Galaxy Note 5. ''This week''
- Galaxy S6 Edge will arrive at the end of the fourth week of February.
- Galaxy S series in May and finally Galaxy J series in July
Here is A list of Nougat update release dates.

Samsung officially responded to this. According to the information provided, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 will unfortunately not receive the Android Nougat update. It should be noted here that Samsung has made a special campaign for the S5 and Note 4 owners to pass on to the next generation of devices, while the tests show that their performance for Nougat is inadequate.
According to Samsung official information, the Galaxy E series and the Galaxy Alpha, the forerunner of the A series, will also not receive the Android Nougat update.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and J7 Prime are the same, aren't they?
Hi!
Is Nov update out for unlocked S9?
Planning to purchase S9 from Samsung, but trying to find out if unlocked unit really gets updates quicker than T-Mobile variant. I usually buy unlocked models, but sometimes T-Mobile updates carrier branded Galaxy phones with some specific fixes. In other words I just want to make sure that T-Mobile device and unlocked S9 will perform the same on T-Mobile network and support all features including Band 71
Any one?

You can buy unlocked and flash T-Mobile G960U firmware. You'll get updates faster with all the specific fixes (unlocked updates are quite slower unfortunately).

The wording of your title is completely different than your question. Yes they did send out a November 1 update coupled with the Pie beta. That answers your title question but I don't have an answer for your post. Maybe the question is getting looked over because of that.

LOL, just busting your chops. The only mention of the Nov 1 security update I've seen is in connection with the Pie beta though.
I just checked and the update is G960U1ES3ARJ6 security patch Nov 1. It seems like they are having a lot of updates but it could be because I was use to my Moto X Pure that didn't get any updates.
My Samsung unlocked GS9 for Verizon received an update today.

I have an unmodified unlocked S9 bought from Samsung G960U1 and used on T-Mobile. I received the October security patches sent OTA in early November. In fact I seem to recall I got the September patches in early October, and the August patches in September. Which is why I now expect my security patches to be "one month behind."

Hmm, so your model is just an unlocked unit which gets updates straight from Samsung. I wonder is T-Mobile is any better... As another user suggested earlier, I could possibly flash the phone with T-Mobile firmware and get updates from the carrier(if it is better with updates)

Samsung Nov Security Update
I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and I received an update yesterday; November security patch.
Hi
I’ve been having a discussion with Samsung over the lack of security updates for the A5 2017 (SM-A520F). They claimed on purchase the phone would receive security updates until 2020. One update released this year from them in NZ. Does anyone know how many security updates the phone has had released in other countries this year?

Here's an article about a Major June Update
Express: Galaxy S9, Galaxy S10 and Note 9 UPDATE - Samsung phones set for 'critical' upgrade.

My Note10+ Snapdragon N9750 haven't got updates since more than 2 months, it is still on June security patch and it is the only variant that didn't get july & August security patches, which is very Strange in deed. Is Samsung punishing us for buying Snapdragon variant instead of Exynos

Updates, no such thing.
Running a AT&T phone means any update would "upgrade" it the Q... I like Pie a lot.
Been running Android dinosaurs for over 5 years with very few issues and only one malware forced reload.
No sweat, still running the last good MS load, W7x64 too. Whatever.
Infuriating that Samsung and its carrier partners give you only 2 options or 3 -if- you can root... even if you choose to follow they are slow to lead. Perfect.
Same here. June update only. The best model of note 10 plus with no updates from samsung?*
I kind of knew this going in. Unlocked models in general get things later. Would be nice but certain I'm not missing anything.
