Where do you find Santok's STK X2 Phone firmware? - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Recently, I had found my old phone had the ability to unlock its bootloader, and there was a built-in software called "Wireless update", which was used receive OTA updates. Inside this software, there was the ability to do "local updates" with zip files, which got me curious. With the bootloader unlocked, I tried to flash a Magisk zip, which failed. I have searched the internet for any firmware for the phone so I could root it, yet I have not found anything. Any help would be much appreciated.
My old phone is:
STK X2
Android 8.1.0
Android Security patch level: 5th October 2019
Build number: X2_SW13HW1_DSVLTEUK_COO_251119
Thank you in advance.

Bootloader and OTA's

Hi!
I have a question:
If I'll just unlock the bootloader (no root or recovery), will I be able to install OTA updates?
If yes, can I root it and still install OTA's?
I'm ok with having to reroot, but can I install OTA's while I have a custom recovery and root?
Thank you!
EDIT:
Thanks to ollie_o I found a solution, see below for details
I was wondering the same - I've had one small OTA update when I first turned the phone on, but nothing since I unlocked the bootloader - has there been a December security update yet?
Can anyone confirm what the most recent OS version / security update is?
Mine's running the LMY48B build (Oct 7) with the November security update (2015-11-01)
Found out the solution!

Thanks to olli_o, I was able to find the answer:
You can't update with root, I don't know about unlocked bootloader, but you can install updates manually even if you are rooted. You just need to re-install the root after each update

Bootloader unlocked. Take system update?

I just got my Pixel XL today through Verizon. It arrived with the following system:
Android Version 7.1
Security Patch Level: October 5, 2016
Build Number: NDE63P
Kernel Version: 3.18.31g895c4a6
Before taking any updates, I unlocked the bootloader. I have not rooted yet.
My questions are:
Should I take the new 01-2017 update?
Would it fail because the bootloader is unlocked?
If I can successfully update, will I be able to root on the new update?
Should I just say screw it and root on current system and just start flashing ROMs?
Any input or advice is appreciated!
Thank you!

With your unlocked bootloader, you can take the new OTA without issues. New OTAs (so far) do not relock the bootloader. The January OTA runs very nice.
If you want to put TWRP recovery, you can do that and root or custom kernel next after installing the Jan. OTA.
If you flash TWRP, a custom kernel, or root it, it will not take another OTA because only an unmodified system
can receive it.

Unable to update to 8.0 from 7.1.1 stock

I just got a second hand Moto Z2 Play which is a XT1710-09 on android 7.1.1 with security patch level February 1, 2018 and reteu Software Channel with build number NPSS26.118-19-22.
It was already reset when I got it and after I done my initial setup I got a prompt to update to android 8.0, April 1, 2018, OPS27.76-12-25 but after I wait for the download to finish (tried on both wifi and mobile data) it says the update couldn't be validated and to try again.
I went ahead in the recovery and deleted cache and factory reset once again and I get the same issue. The bootloader also shows the software as being modified and not official.
Any tips ? I really wouldn't want to return the phone because I love it so far but if there's no solution I'll just have to go ahead and get my money back
Ich guess your bootloader ist unlocked? Well then you cant make ota Updates anymore, but you can Install a full rom via Fastboot.
It says oem_locked when I boot into fastboot mode :/ I was able to update to February 2019 security patch and Android 8.0.0 by using fastboot tho. Is this the latest security patch available ?

Yep, that's indeed the last one.
That's the one I have.

Opps28.65-37-7-4

Does anyone have the latest security pacth update from February 1 2019 to download moto g5s?
I've download and installed successfully but the security path is still on feb 2019
And that the bootloader is unlocked and I can not block again because it is not the latest rom

Yeah, it doesn't do anything except apply so-called "security enhancements"
My phone's actually rooted with bootloader unlocked, but I still got the notification for the update. Will it work?

i did it, same thing, bootoader unlocked and normal OTA update, working fine so far
I've got this too and still february patch. Weird releasing an update with no security patch, especially the current one is quite dated.
I updated mine too and it's normal, but I wanted to take it with me and I wanted to block the bootloader, and it's only possible with the latest rom

OTA not working, how to manually update G981B?

Hi there,
my G20 5G (Europe) doesn't find any updates after security level September, and that's been going on for some time. It's not a branded version, so I think I'll need to update manually. Now I haven't manually flashed anything since my old Nexus 5 and have never flashed anything with Odin.
Could anyone point me to the correct OTA-file and instructions how to flash OTA-files without wiping the phone? With the myriad of options I'm not sure which file to get for my specific model.
This is my phone info:
Modelnumber: SM-G981B/DS
Buildnumber: QP1A.190711.020.G981BXXU4BTIB
Basebandversion: G981BXXU4BTIO
//edit:
ok, i found about CSC and stuff, I'm on a T-Mobile software and they are the reason I don't get security updates in time.
Case closed for me, will look in to samkey.
