If you go from Android 11 to 10 back, you must do a Factory Reset and Wipe your Data
Better you should clean flash by fastboot or twrp

My phone is Redmi note 5 Al (from China) and now unlocked bootloader.
Can i flash MIUI 9 version 9.6.3.0.OEIMIFD (Stable) from MIUI 10 version 8.8.30 (Developer ROM) without brick?
Version 9.6.3.0.OEIMIFD (Stable) and version 8.8.30 (Developer ROM) now are lastest.
Thank you so much
Hi,
I just successfully flashed 8.8.30 over 9.6.3.0 on a Redmi Note 5 Pro with locked bootloader. From what I had read, ROMs with ARB 4 can be flashed over each other.
The latest MIUI ROM for whyred is now 9.6.4.0, btw.
Doesn't really answer your question, but thought I would share this.

Since you have unlocked bootloader, you could try using TWRP for flashing a firmware-less version of the MIUI 9 ROM (you can find links in this forum).
That way the risk of a brick is entirely eliminated.
Also when in doubt about any rom ARB version, older and future roms, you will always be safe flashing a firmware-less rom (since it leaves BL untouched).
I wanna do it on my mi5 but what about my apps and data?
I lose theme or no?
Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk
You will lose all apps and app data. And you will be warned about it too.
When the stable MIUI 10 is officially released as OTA, we will be able to move from MIUI 9 to 10 without losing any data.

Thanks so much.
And now, can i relock bootloader on the lastest miui 9 global stable without brick?
I'm currently on xiaomi.eu version 10.3.4 stable on my redmi note 5 pro with orange fox recovery installed. I want to go back to official miui 9 stable rom. I've heard anti rollback can brick my device so is there a safe method to do that?
9.6 version is arb 4 so youre safe. Just don't go on version 9.5 I think its arb 3.

Hi everyone;
We know that Mi A2 lite is the global version of the Redmi 6 Pro, i mean the same hardware;
My question is that can we install the official MIUI rom for Redmi 6 Pro on the Mi A2 lite?

You got to unlock bootloader, install twrp and than you can install a custom ROM like miui10 or 11 ported from 6 pro (sakura) to mi A2 lite (Daisy) take a look here

Don't try flashing MIUI on this device. When the device first came out, some smart people tried it and bricked their devices, rendering their devices useless until a fix came up. Use the MIUI ports in the ROMs section if you're such a fan of MIUI. Cheers.
Thank you both guys
Will Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite receive Android 11 update or not ??

No idea at all, maybe none of the developers will support this device anymore

Let's see, if these devices still have good development support.
Hope so.

Looks unlikely. Xiaomi dropped support for Android One so it means they will not fulfill those obligations anymore. Also drivers are buggy on stock ROM so custom ROMs will need improved drivers but without source code I don't see it advancing much if any. I would probably start moving onto other devices.
