Note 10+ 5G ISS Manager - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

hello,
this note 10+ ask to login to Information Security Solution
this screen keeps coming again and again
any way to get rid of this app ?

Where did you get that phone? Have you tried doing a complete wipe?

it came from korea
wipe data and cache not help
even i flashed it

That appears to be a tester model from before the release of the phone. I am guessing you won't be able to use it. Ever. You were swindled. Hope it wasn't expensive.

I have same exact issue on Galaxy S8 sm-g950f, that I bought off of OfferUp two years ago for $150, but haven't been able to find any info on the ISS Manager apk either

several threads on this, It is Hardware Failure from bad QA'ing on samsungs part, You need to contact vzw explain to them you are loosing both data and voice and they will send you a replacement device, no software patch will fix this.
edit:
also be sure to return to stock and turn S on before sending your phone back. If you can call vzw from a phone that is not your cell
Thanks but this is a Craigslist phone. No matter, my S3 will be here in 2 weeks so I will just deal then.

Unlock t-mobile note 3

I've searched and searched for weeks and am unable to unlock my note 3. I'm on stock rom rooted via towel root. 4.4.2 and baseband NE6. Any help Is greatly appreciated. I've tried the region lock away method and it still don't work.

If you've had it on T-Mobile for I think 40 days, just call and ask for it. I got mine in about 24 hours.
I bought the phone used from a friend..

Then ask him to request it or wait the 40 days.
You will have to wait the 40 days. Also, you will also have to find a friend from a NON-T-mo carrier to use their SIM card. There are sites online that will do the same thing for you...but it will cost about $30. But, you might want to get hold of T-Mo and see if they will do it for you. THey are real nice (at least online chat service people) and if you sweet talk them, they just might.

I did too, and then I went to T-Mobile's chat and they still emailed me the code. They never asked where I got the phone or anything.

Note 4 AT&T Marshmallow Update Via Best Buy Samsung Kiosk

Just a quick shout out and thank you to those people commenting in other threads that suggested using a Samsung Kiosk at Best Buy for updating the AT&T Note 4 if you don't have a current AT&T account - AT&T does not push OTA updates to Note 4's not currently active on their network.
I just needed Marshamallow without root etc. for a like-new phone I was getting ready to sell after not using it for some time, and went to the local Best Buy's Samsung kiosk. 20 minutes later the phone was updated from a very early version of Lollipop to the latest version of Marshmallow, no charge. The local Samsung kiosk was staffed 11AM-7PM.
Again, my thanks. :good:
What did they say they did to update it? If you dont have ATT service how did they get it to update?

How is it running now that you've updated? Does it run better? Would you recommend it? Should I hide stuff that I don't want to be seen? LOL
It ran fine...I brought them a phone that was wiped, so I didn't have privacy concerns when I did it. I use Nova Launcher and SMS Backup & Restore so it's easier to back apps and setups up and do a full restore in a few hours, but this was a phone I was preparing for sale so I didn't care, and I suggest you take them a wiped phone in any case. I should add that not all Best Buy stores have a kiosk with this capability, some just have a Samsung sales display, so it's best to check first - I believe the stores with the full kiosk are labeled as the "Samsung Experience" when you view store details on the Best Buy site. Good luck.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier...If you go to a store with a full Samsung Kiosk (Samsung Experience) they can do an update for you at no charge. Good luck.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier - I just brought the kiosk the phone and told them I wanted the latest AT&T Marshmallow update, and they plugged it in and did it for me at no charge - they have the images available to them at the store without needing any AT&T connection. Good luck.

I went to a Samsung Experience and both associates said they didn't do them but actually it looked like they had no clue. I'll try another store.

Note 10+ Exynos (international) on Sprint

Hey guys,
I just purchased the 4G Note 10+ from Samsung in the US (I'm on Sprint and they only offered the 5G for Verizon customers). I currently have a Note 5 (about time for an upgrade). My concern is that after a bunch of research, I won't be able to do the things I've enjoyed doing on my Note 5. So, I am considering returning the one I ordered from Samsung in the US and ordering the Note 10+ Exynos version from a website like Clove so that I can still root it. I don't care about Samsung Pay or WiFi calling, so I'm fine losing those.
From my understanding, CDMA doesn't work well with Sprint on Exynos. I even heard some talk about it being throttled. Should I be concerned?
Will the 5G work with Sprint now or in the future, even though they have an exclusive deal with Verizon right now and are there any gotchas?
Can I just request a SIM card from Sprint or I do I need to do something funky with an international SIM first?
Is there anything else to look out for or that I'm not considering?

From my understanding and looking through eBay at the international note 10 listings the exynos phone is GSM only. It will not work with Sprint or Verizon at all.

Thank you. I believe you are absolutely right. You just saved me a lot of hassle.
I'm going to return the phone I ordered and wait for the (hopefully) OnePlus 7 Pro 5G Sprint variant to come out.
Honestly, I was tired of having to choose between being able to backup my phone (basically all I want root for) or being able to encrypt my phone (which is lost when you root it). With the OnePlus 7 Pro I could do all that, not have a hole in my screen, it's cheaper, and would be 5G too. So whatever. I'll miss the SDCard and wireless charging, but that's about it. Too bad neither have a headphone jack, that might have kept me on it too. Okay, done ranting. Thanks again!

It's speculation, but there's a good chance. I'll probably hold out for more information until October at the latest before I plan a switch.
